    Avoid Respiratory Infections 

Prevention consists of good hygienic living. These health rules can help you avoid bad cells and other respiratory infections.

1. Eat well-balanced, regular meals rich in body regulating foods especially those with Vitamins A and C.

2. Eat a good breakfast always

3.. Do not overeat between meals.

4. Avoid too much sweet and fatty foods.

5. Have enough sleep.

6. Engage in outdoor exercise daily but do not overtire your self.

7. Wear clothes suitable to the weather. Change wet clothing at once. Keep your feet dry and warm.

8. Have proper ventilation and sunshine in your rooms.

9. See your doctor regularly for a checkup and if you are not feeling well.

     Avoid Harmful Substances

Smoking or chewing cigars or tobacco causes much harm to the respiratory system. It causes lung Cancer and other forms of respiratory cancer. It also causes inflammation of the bronchial tubes which leads to chronic bronchitis This and many other diseases of the respiratory system are related to smoking. So to have a healthy respiratory system,you should avoid smoking or chewing tobacco.

          Avoid Pollution

Air pollution is bad for the lungs and the heart. If you live in very dusty and smokey place near factories and busy streets, you will breath in dust and harmful chemicals, smoke, and fumes.
