I hope you all are doing fine amidst of the shortcomings and uncertainties we may feel day by day. Always remember that a positive life is a happy life. ✨
Living away from my family and most of the time spending my time alone at my room makes me think a lot of things. What I will eat next, that's always the first thing in mind. Whether to take a bath or not. What may be my status in the future. Who I will be become by then and a lot more things that sometimes I tend to overthink, but I make sure to get back on the right track.
Then one day, a friend asked me or let's say teased me about getting a partner, getting married, building a family, and even having kids that coughed me out since it was an unexpected question. Too sudden. So random. That to be honest, I am not giving any attention yet. Not my priority even more. You all know what my priority is. It's my family for now.
But I have this one thing I badly wanted to have. My own little house that I can call home. The one I can say mine.
I always get fascinated looking at big houses. Those with very beautiful interior designs and even outside it. With a big pool and a wide lawn. With almost four floors. But actually it never came to my mind that I wanted to have a house like such. I always say "sana all", but it is an act of just appreciating the house.
Even before, I always wanted to have this Amakan House and it never changed.
Amakan, also known as sawali in the northern Philippines, is a type of traditional woven split-bamboo mats used as walls, paneling, or wall cladding in the Philippines. They are woven into various intricate traditional patterns, often resulting in repeating diagonal, zigzag, or diamond-like shapes. The term "sawali" is more properly defined as twilled weaving patterns.
In my imagination, I wanted to have my house concrete, but after that I will have the half of it double walled with amakan. Have a ceiling and a coloured roof.
When you get inside, you will be seeing the living room with a TV on the wall. Along with it is a small dinner table for four and a small kitchen with a small pantry. Of course there should be at least a divider between the living room and the dinner area. I will probably put a not full made shelf as a divider where I can display some of my sentimental things, souvenir, and some pictures. And just how many steps, you will have there the comfort room.
I will be having as well three rooms. One for my own, one for my family if ever they will visit me, and of course a little room for my BTS Merch collections.
In my room, I will be having a double size bed with a lot of pillow, beside is a bed table with a lamp and my favourite book. On the other side is still a table for my phone and water. I will have a wood and white coloured theme room, that everything or most of the stuff you will see is wooden colour and white only. That will make my eyes relaxed. In some space of my room, I will place my work station, a mini library, and a little snack corner. I will place a TV as well in front of my bed for some Netflix and chill during rest days. Then I will have my own closet. And of course I always wanted to have my own comfort room that will definitely give me the comfort I need.
Outside my house, you'll see a small terrace if ever I wanted to have a coffee and have some fresh air. In front of it is a small garden that should have my favourite flowers and plants. And beside my house is a small garage if ever I will have the chance to buy a Jeep Wrangler. And I will have a half concrete fence and the half of it will be a black metal, a gold and white themed gate as well.
And yes, I will welcome you in my humble abode.
Alright! I just found myself day dreaming about such thing and its time for me to wake up. Sorry for having this type of article. It just popped out on my mind after looking at my ceiling for a couple of minutes. I hope I did not make you dizzy explaining the type of home I wanted to have.
