I'll try again.

I've been craving for Macaroni Soup for weeks now. I am planning to just order online, but my trust issues can never. I do not want to experience the "expectation vs. reality" thingy. With that said I decided to make myself one. I've asked my friend and even my sister how to make it. I am on my way to the store to buy the complete ingredients, but my *"no nothing about cooking self"* backed out. Yes! I did not continue to cook it. Instead while browsing on my gallery, I came across with this TikTok video about making **Mojos**. *It is actually a sliced potato coated with some seasonings.* While watching the video, I said to myself that I can make it. Yes. I am confident that I will be. So instead of buying stuffs for Macaroni Soup, I bought instead the ingredients for Mojos. *Potatoes, Corn Starch, Crispy Fry, Paprika, Pepper, Mayonnaise, Garlic and Oil.* I got them on hand and went back home. I was very excited preparing the ingredients that I even do Facebook live as I really thought I can make it. It was fine at first that I got to finish the first few steps. However, after coating some of the sliced potatoes and deep fry it on the hot oil, it seems that it is not turning out well. I tried to observed how it will be going but still I am seeing that it is somehow different from the video I watched. I tried to do another round as it supposed to be golden brown. But still, I did not make it right.

Since I sliced a lot of potatoes, I just decided to fry it without coating them with the spices. I am planning instead of making fries. With the thought of making a fries can be much easier, I thought it will turn out well. Without further thinking, I just changed the oil and put a new one and deep fry the remaining potatoes, without even slicing it horizontally. That just means, I am getting a circle shaped fries. *How st*pid I am*. So it turned out this way after frying it and coat it with some powdered cheese. Just so you know, it did not turn well just like the first try I have. I put a lot of powdered cheese that it turned out to be too salty.

I really wanted to give up after this second attempt, but I still have some sliced potatoes remaining that I do not want to put into waste. I decided to deep fry it again and make another set of circle shaped fries without coating it with powdered cheese. I know it will really not turn out well too as it supposed to be soaked in the salt first to have a taste. But still I give it a try. And my hunches never get wrong. It was still a failure. I will never do it again.

I really wanted to do some cooking, that I always visit my TikTok Account and save some short tutorials on anything easy to make, then search again on Google to make sure it was right. I always tried my best to learn, but I just keep on doing it wrong. That sometimes I just do not want to do it again. But you know, despite of the failure I made today, I am somehow happy that @BreadChamp and @RM who's living with me still appreciate the food I made. It made me happy after hearing them say, ***"Okay ra man gud, bii. Need lang siya nga crunchy." (You know, it is good. It just need to be crunchier.)*** **With this one, I just realized that things can be learned. And if you fail, it is alright. Just make sure to learn things again and for sure you will succeed. That, you do not need a lot of person that will encourage you, one or two will do. As long as they are genuine and telling you the truth.** I'll try next time to do the Macaroni Soup, and hopefully I can at least make it right.
