Hello beautiful people!
I hope you all are doing fine amidst of the shortcomings and uncertainties we may feel day by day. Always remember that a positive life is a happy life. ✨
4th of how many.
It's better to give than to receive. That's the first saying I memorized and learned ever since I was a child. That saying has been the most used that up until today, no one can change its thought.
I just remember way back in college, I gave a birthday gift to one of the visiting instructor in our university. She was my teacher and a friend now. I just can't forget how thankful she was that I made her happy. Because of the happiness I gave, I cannot contain the feeling of what I should feel. I mean, yes she was happy but the feeling of making someone happy is undeniably amazing. The feeling is awesome. I am not exaggerating things, but it is actually what I felt that moment. The feeling of seeing someone happy because of you is what matters the most. It is a cloud nine feeling to be exact.
So why this article?
It is because when I started here in Read Cash, I got to receive right away a gift from other users. I consider upvotes as gift as it matters a lot for me. Upvotes made us to work hard and continue for us to receive it again. And that as well what I have been doing until now. As far as I can remember, the first article I have uploaded here that is entiltled, "Reason" was aside from Rusty first upvoted by @Bjorn and @Davinchysax and they even leave a comment there. It really made me happy that someone appreciate my work and made me to continue on writing. Then after such article I uploaded again but was not given any upvote at all, but I did not stop there right away. I still continue on writing as I believe there will be another upvote that will come. Sad to say, it was the other way around. I mean, there was but not the same amount I received at first. I became ungrateful that time that it made me ashamed thinking about it right now, and that was as well the moment that I became inactive here. However, I realized that I am not even at half of my journey for me to stop. And that was when I bounce back. And now I keep on receiving upvotes from other users. @Janz is my first sponsor, she is actually my cousin. I am so happy that time as I am seeing a lot of users to have their sponsorhip block getting full and I have none. And there, @Janz was first. Then there after I keep on receiving gifts from other users and even received new sponsorships which I am very grateful of.
I do not have the huge amount of gifts received yet, but I am grateful enough for what I already have and for everything that will come. I have been thinking of it days from now, that I wanted to give back. I wanted to give and share the same feeling I felt to other new users the moment I receieved my first upvote. I wanted to give back the gifts I have. I am still new here as it was a month ago that I joined, but I know there are another new users here. However, I really do not have enough fund that I can share with. And we all know that we cannot give what we do not have.
There, I always pray that hopefully I will be given enough funds as well so that I can share it with others. And God is really good to get my prayers answered just how many days. Rusty visited my articles and gave me upvotes. It is not the same large amount yet, but for me it is already big enough to be shared with. So before I transferred some to my other wallet, I made sure first that there will be some that I will keep so that I can use it to be given for upvotes. This maybe a small amount for now, but I will make sure to work hard so that I can really give back what I received. I am really at the urge of doing this as I know for sure those who upvoted my articles also started from zero. So aside from giving thanks to them, I wanted to show how grateful I am by giving something to others as well. This may not only benefit the receiver but it will benefit the giver as well, as the feeling of making someone happy is really different.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
And as said by Andrew Iskander, “Because that’s what kindness is. It’s not doing something for someone else because they can’t, but because you can.” I am not saying that I have a lot already, I am just grateful enough that I can give a small amount of kindness that I know can be a reason for someone to be happy as well. It is always not the amount of how big the gift is, but the thoughts you have while giving it that matters. And for me that is more than enough.
“Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.” – Scott Adams

I remembered one of my recent articles where I also quoted that "it is better to give than to receive". Paying it forward. That is also what I did and is doing now. The past few weeks I have been really, really busy and does not feel like interacting. Anyhow, I cannot also forget the first person who upvoted my article and my first ever sponsor. I have not yet tried to sppnsor other people but I will soon. 😊
