Family fun Bingo!

Happy Labor Day and it's Sunday! New week, new start? To most students or employees, they usually start their week on a Monday. While you still have Sunday as your rest day, it would be nice to spend time with your family.
I would like to thank @McJulez for doing this prompt. You can check his article here, Family Fun Bingo Board
It's my parent's wedding anniversary by the way, and that makes it perfect to do this post. I think they got married before my eldest sister got out in the world so her age is our basis on how long our parents are married, 34 years if I'm not mistaken HAHAHAH.
Anyway, let's see if what activities we've done to spend quality time at least.
I know that we can't do this in just a day but let me mark some activities that we've done or used to do.
Cook meal together
We used to cook meal together especially during Christmas or New year's eve.
There were years that we celebrated Christmas at our place because we have at least a space so our family can fit in. Our relatives from my father's side used to go to our house and bring food for all to eat (potluck style). We also used to cook and prepare food like spaghetti, lumpia, salad, chicken (birthday party???? hahahah)
It was fun to be honest because we get to at least bond, have fun and do an activity together.
Play a board game together\
Snakes and ladders was one of the most famous children board games for kids born in the 80s to 90s. Well, chess is an all time favorite too. What other board games we've played? I can't remember hahahaha!
Play a game of hide and seek in the dark
Since we still have little to no access on the internet when I was a kid, playing outside with friends was our entertainment especially during the afternoon. If by any chance that we can stay up until the sun sets, we can go play hide and seek and scare each other out ππ
Make a treat or dessert together
This was also one part of cooking together. During holiday season, we sometimes make desserts. One of which was Halaya or ube jam or cake? , then ref cake (Tiramisu)
Help with gardening
My father was a gardener and my mother loves plants too. When we were kids, at least some of us used to help them whenever they do something with the plants, water them, rearrange, replant, repot etc.
Have a movie night
When we were kids, my parents cannot spend money to go to the movies/cinema or rent a cd or dvd for a movie night. We simply don't have enough money for that. Now, that we can already get by financially sometimes we can go to the cinema and since movies are accessible online, we subscribe to some streaming platforms like Netflix, HBO Go to watch movies. We have times that we would watch movies from the afternoon until dinner time.
Help some one with their chores
Doing chores is one of the best bonding a family can do (but not all the time).
Good thing that we used to take turns and in washing the dishes every after meal. Everyday, we help each other out. One will cook, one will wash the dishes, one will clean the table, one will sweep the floor. That's been our habit or routine until now.
Work on a jigsaw puzzle
We actually tried to finish a jigsaw puzzle. Our Tita (aunt) gave us a jigsaw puzzle when we were kids. The print/design was very nice, puppies, because we also love dogs. However, it was a thousand piece puzzle, small puzzle pieces take note. We tried, but we don't have big frame to put it in and we simply ran out of patience to do it HAHAHAHA.
HAPPY LABOR DAY PHILIPPINES!
We usually celebrate labor day by celebrating my parents' wedding anniversary. Happy 34th year of marriage to mother and father!
heartsuuuu~~~
We played several board games back then and it was so fun. I love movie marathon before going to bed. It was fun doing these things with your family.
