A Big Anomaly

It's no secret anymore the way the love of money has so crept into the church and wove it's way into the hearts of many. You know when they say that when the head of a thing is bad, then the whole body would be bad too.

It's the same way if the foundation of a building is faulty, the building cannot stand. It may stand for while but then the destruction is inevitable.

What am I talking about, is the way pastors and leaders of the church now sell out Prayers for a morsel of bread.

I have silently and patiently observed this money consciousness unfold steathily and after all my observation I can say the result is really disheartening.

This money issue has eaten up so many promising "Men Of God" and Leaders that they can no longer say even as little as a short prayer or intercede for their fellow christians without requesting for a fee or what they usually refer to as "seed".

Even the biblical concept of "Seed Sowing" has been brutally abused by these same pastors; as they have confused so many christians and growing believers that Seeds are special offerings that ought to be paid to pastors with demand when special miracles, deliverance, foresight, etc are required.

This concept is very sad seeing that it overrules the very spiritual significance of seed sowing which is a show of Unwavering Faith and belief to God not to a so called MOG.

So many of these Pastors even go as far as turning their Churches to official prayer houses so as to get more problem-bearing members with large pockets seeking solutions desperately.

Others employ mysterious means like voodoo, magic, etc to either cause or escalate the problem in the first place or to come up with a solution where others have failed thus increasing their fame and generating more money.

Others go around Market places, Stores and other business centers to offer prayers of Prosperity and increase, to see Visions for passers-by, buyers and trader. Then afterwards request for specific amount of offerings for prophetic declarations which may include: Long life, Visa, Employment opportunities, Freedom from all spiritual manipulations etc

The ordinary church with a money conscious Pastor without an idea on how to expand might shamelessly dwell so much on preachings or teachings of giving, charity, seed sowing, tithe paying, offerings etc hiding behind the fact that they mean so much to God but with intentions of provoking people to fill up the church boxes whose contents will eventually fill his pockets; thereby depriving the members the true Word Of God they ought to receive in order to grow spiritually.

All these and so many others are tactics MOG use to extort money from people; which ought not to be.

Sincerely there is no scene where the effects of Money Consciousness can be considered advantageous.

It is very bad and it's actions are slowly crippling Churches as so many Christians and their families no longer want anything to do with Pastors, or Churches generally because often times they have been embarrassed, misled, extorted, duped or have even had a near death experience if they are lucky.

Even growing believers who have never had such encounters are gradually losing their faith because of Stories they've heard and people they've met with.

All this is truely very disheartening.

These Pastors have taken Prayer which ought to be a sweet, enjoyable conversation and interaction between father and children and have transferred it into a Money making venture of "Pay Me off, I Pray you Out"

Well, i propose we all share these words to educate many christians so they quit falling for these make-believe false miracles and all of these Money Conscious Prayer Pastors.
