Tips on how to get Upvotes!
New users on this site ask me **how do I get upvotes?** So I created an article about it, so I can help you through it. It is not easy to get upvotes because it depends on your readers if they liked your article. So, this is only advisable for you to get the attention of your readers and enjoy your article. TIP that you should remembered before you write in this site. **TIP #1: Think Interesting Topic.** This is the most important thing of all. As a writer you should know where readers are interested in, what's latest to talk about and write. What's the problem for readers that they can't answer because by writing an article on this site they will be interested and answered all their questions that will help them especially if they relate to your topic. **Tip #2: Think Unique Title** The title must be unique and interesting so that you will get the readers' attention. Because when you get your readers' attention they won't hesitate to open it. **Tip #3: The content of your article must be detailed.** Should the title be related to your content and it must be detailed. Why? Because they will find out if you are good at writing, thinking and making an article, here they can see if you really do, without copyright or plagiarism. **Tip #4: Add some picture in your article that related to your content.** It's good to have your content with pictures so that they can better understand what you write especially stories, they enjoy reading when you put pictures and they can appreciate it. Specially if you explained something, we should have picture to proof it. **Tip #5: Always Keep Writing and Be Yourself** Why? Because of this, they can see what kind of writer you are, Here, they will find you good at writing, Here they will find your hardworking and smart, and Here they will recognize you. ***The important thing is to always leave a lesson to be learned to the reader in every article you make.*** Hopefully this simple tip I made was helpful especially to the new user of this site. I have been working on this site for a week. But I still don't know how to vote up here. But gave me one. Hopefully I will learn this soon.

You forgot the most important think. Engagement! The chance people find your post is close to zero. Because you read and comment people pay you a visit. If they like what you write or like you, you receive a comment or upvote (or both). You do not need to write to earn. If I comment I receive 4 points, if I write an article which takes me 1-2 days I earn 20. This means reading and commenting brings me more than writing.
I do agree with that. Giving comments do give me more points than articles that I took two days to write. If I am lucky enough, I will get some tips from other writers.
With a normal or fast connection you can earn way more this way. You click on one community and read/comment the whole 30-50 within one hour.
The rules for the community had been upgraded. Now it is harder to write than to read and comment. I might stop writing on my own and do readings only.

Your titles are interesting. After reading, I think you are actually giving tips on how to start writing properly by having a catchy title, interesting articles without plagiarism and to make one article look nice so that readers will be attracted to read. In conclusion, I learned the lesson that if I write good quality and interesting articles, I will eventually get the upvotes.

I think you need to add one more thing to it, which is engaging with others. If you want your articles to be read you should be willing to read and comments on other articles too. Are you using Grammarly to write? I ask because you submitted this to my community. We do have a rules that said grammar and punctuation matter.
