Did you know that lightning is warmer than the Sun, that 99% of people can't touch their elbows with their tongue, that astronauts see 16 sunrises and sunsets a day and many other things that will help you tickle someone's imagination and turn out informed and imaginative in someone's society.

Sneezing travels 160 km/h

When we sneeze,on average we expel air, saliva and secretions at a speed of 160 km/h. On that occasion, we send about 100,000 germs into the air. The trigger for sneezing is mostly irritated nasal mucosa, but it can also be sunlight, physical activity, a strong smell or - plucking eyebrows with tweezers.

Astronauts grow in space

Since there is no gravity in space, the spinal vertebrae separate naturally and easily, the muscles that support the spine slowly weaken and people there become taller. They can grow up to five centimeters. The trouble is that, upon returning to Earth, they do not maintain that height, and may have back problems.

Messages from the brain travel 430 km/h

The speed at which the brain sends messages through our nerves varies and depends on how fast the exchange of charged ions is inside and outside the cell membrane, ie what type of nerve cells it is.However, some have calculated that messages can travel at a speed of 430km/h.

Dolphins never sleep

Dolphins cannot sleep like "the whole normal world". Since they do not breathe automatically, but consciously and in a controlled manner, they must always be awake, at least in one part of the brain. That's why they change the halves of the brain that rest, alternately, in the sleep phases - so that they can rest without losing consciousness.

World Championship in underwater bicycle race

The World Championship in this race is being held in Wales, and the competitors have to ride a mautin bike as fast as they can on the bottom of a swamp two meters deep. They are wearing a diving guide, a diving mask and a helmet, as well as a lead belt to prevent them from floating off the bike. Their tires are filled with water for better grip on the bottom of the swamp.

If you give it a chance, nature will surprise and astound you in all kinds of wonderful ways. It’s truly amazing some of the things that happen on Earth and even farther out in the solar system. I did not know all those interesting facts. Thank you for this. In my opinion, the most interesting are the one about brain messages, and the one about dolphins. I know that human brain is really something wonderful and amazing, but I did not know how fast it actually is. That is really taking breath away.

Since man uses only 10% of his brain, we can imagine how complex the brain really is.
