LIVING IN THE LAND OF PLENTY!!๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ There's Nothing more rewarding than spending time in the Garden I've made some "indian houses" to support our growing green beans - my kids call it that ๐ And in the 3rd photo it's our "Jungle" The pile of compound where all leftovers from the house and garden are mixed with soil and EVERYTHING grows there - pumpkins, lettuce, strawberries, tomatoes, kale, spinach parsley, coriander, orรฉgano... I had to come to the nearest village Got a call from the nurse, she asked me to pick my aunt's file I spent so much time here with my aunt, at least 3 times a week, trying to delay the cancer from growing My aunt was a awful, cold, dark woman... I'll turn 50 y this year My cousin is 52. He was my best friend since childhood. He was the one i chose to be the Godfather of my first son Life made us part, he went to other countries to work. Still it was party each time he visited Last month he had flue symptoms. It was lung cancer. And it's pretty bad ๐ฅบ We all think there's still plenty of time... That's why I laugh everyday, even looking like childish. Here&Now is all we really have There's Sunrise and there's Sunsetโฆ

I have 37 different fruit trees in my garden Some grow really fast and start giving fruits after 1 year. Others take much much longer... This is one of my Avocado trees, about 4 meters tall, a beautiful tree. I grew this since a baby seed I took from a avocado I bought. First in the water, than in a vase, finally a big place in the backyard for him to grow, with another different avocado tree right beside it. And for the first time it's full of lil avocados ๐ฅโค๏ธ Right nowโฆ

Drinking coffee in the Lagoon Bar with my friend Filomena This is Falcon Lagoon, a aquapark that opened 2 years ago in the near village, using a existent laggon, with all the right conditions for enjoying a great time It's the first day of the summer season, we just came to check it, Monday my kids have no school, we'll be spending our day here, they love this Only 4 km from home and not very expensive, it's a great place to spend the day

After a hot hot Sunny day, the weather just changed and all at the sudden we had a Thunderstorm with a lot of rain Of course all the ducks were soaked wet, but the lil ones that are only a few hours old were cold, specially 2 of them, they couldn't even follow their mother anymore We had to interfere, it took a lot of effort and all the family together to get them to shelter, there's so much space in the old tractor garage, but the mother didn't seem to understand the lilโฆ

A day without wind is so so rare here, most days I try to sweep and the wind throws everything around and back again Today we had no wind and several hours cloudy, meaning no burning sun I used most of my afternoon sweeping all the front yard, I love to see it all neat and clean... although I know it won't last more than a few hours It was a pretty dam good exercise, i am tired and stinking, need a shower ASAP ๐ฅต๐ But yes, I am Happy with the result โฅ๏ธ

Perfect weather for a 12 km walk from Lourinhรฃ ( villa) to the Atlantic Ocean, continued to Areia Branca beach with the feet in the wet sand and now a lil relax and Reiki time before heading back No matter what we do, somethings we can't control.
