12 Views and 30 Likes
I saw a post fee minutes ago with 12 views and 30 likes. How is the number of likes higher than the number of views? Its more than twice the value.
This is not the first time I have noticed such, but the difference is always small. But this is way much - 30/12.
Can we like an article without viewing it? What is the possible explanation for this?

It's very possible. You can tap on the like button of an article without opening it to view
It has also happened to me in several articles, and I did the test of giving like without entering to read and mark the upvote, they should modify that option, leave on the main screen as information and for the vote to be valid you have to enter the article.
At the home page when I read an article, if the first sentences is quite interesting I click the like button without clicking the article itself. Maybe this is one of the explaination

My own conclusion is that many people just go to home page and like some articles without even opening it maybe because the title looks catchy or the lead pictures look catchy. Also many people will check the time for an article to be read and when they see they can't have the time to read, so they like. Lastly, I think some will even open the article and felt tired to drop a comment so they will just like 🤔

The moment there is the time indicated in the article was the moment some articles got some higher likes than views, it's because some users won't bother to click the article upon seeing the time reading indicated just hitting the like button.
Check my recent articles it has 64 likes and 26 views. How come the likes is 64 and it has small views.. it is possible??
Maybe we have to spend some time on article before it counts for views? I don't know, I noticed this too few days back, and that's my justification, maybe some just open and like and leave lol!
Me too. In short they not read our article just also clicked like button instantly without understanding to our article.

I notice the same since a few days. I know earlier there was a bug (the downvotes) if the downvoter presses the button many times after each other one person can downvote someone many times. Perhaps someday by up voting too?
Update: I just realize why. I think we can like an article without opening it. I just tried it from the homepage. I clicked the like on an article without viewing it.

An interesting question. There are more things that doesn't make sense to me. How come an account can not be reported, a moderator can not block a user directly? A part of the options are gone, others don't work. Well, you solved the mystery.
I do not see the point in up voting what I did not read first. Now read.cash asks us to downvote as well.
I don't think we can upvote an article twice. If we upvote once and tries again it will cancel the upvote we gave. Perhaps it's still a bug.

Some of read cash user like an articles without opening and reading. Especially when you are using boost. Maybe they scroll and like only.

I noticed that too. It seems that some people like the post we are based on the title, or whatever. It is not clear to me personally. If I see a post whose title or topic interests me, I open it, read it and like it if I like it. Still, it’s obvious that not everyone works that way, and I’ve long since learned that it’s not worth judging others based on what we ourselves do and think.

The minutes you guys talk about the new function on it that's only could explain over it. means only they can trace if your pivots already a spammer or not due to that
I think it's about an update days ago where freshly published articles get on the main page so most users see it. The thing is, they only hit the like button without opening the article. It did happen to me once. I got 33 views but I had 66 likes.

Probably some users just like articles without actually reading it. That is possible tho, because I also do that sometimes, when the title is catchy, but I'm not in the mood to read an article. Haha
