How would you rate your likability? If you’re anything like me, you probably don’t think much of the way you come across. I mean, you’ve got a good heart, but you’re also a bit of a jerk sometimes. That’s why I thought I’d share some ideas to try out with you guys. See how they might help boost your social media presence—and maybe even make you seem less unlikable!

Nowadays, businesses need to become more socially aware. They need to get involved in their communities. And they need to engage their target audiences. The only problem with that? Their brands often lack social authenticity.

Social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are where your customers spend most of their time. To increase your brand's likability, you'll want to ensure your messages are being disseminated through channels that reach them.

The first step in creating a successful brand is to understand how people perceive your product or service. This includes understanding your target audience, their needs, and their expectations.

In this article, I will share 7 simple ways to make your brand more likable.

1. Offer value

A lot of people don't like a brand just because they offer no real value. If a brand is only trying to sell its products or services and not create valuable experiences, then it's going to fail. Consumers have become increasingly conscious about what they're spending their time and money on, and if something doesn’t add any significant value to them and their lifestyle, they won't patronize it. So, in order to be successful, your brand needs to provide value to customers. That means offering quality products at affordable prices, providing service after purchase, and creating unique experiences for consumers.

2. Be Consistent

Consistency is one of the oldest tricks in the book - If you're trying to build brand likeability, consistency is key. People will notice when you're not consistent with your messaging. They'll also notice when you're inconsistent. So make sure you're consistent across all platforms. If somebody sees you consistently across all these channels, it's much easier for them to recognize who you are. Consistent communication gives your audience a sense of trust between themselves and your business. Provide value consistently and customers will reward you.

3. Be Responsive

Consistency is good. But if you're not responding to customer comments, reviews, complaints, etc., or improving your product or content based on those responses, you're missing out on valuable information about how people really feel about your business. Your customers and potential customers want to connect with you. That's why many brands now offer email signups, live chat features, and social media options, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google Plus, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, Tumblr, Reddit, Vine, Periscope, Spotify, SoundCloud, and Telegram.

When you open yourself up to public interaction, you have to be prepared for any type of comment, question, criticism, compliment, praise, agreement, disagreement, encouragement, discouragement, or just plain curiosity. If you're not ready for these interactions, you'll miss out on valuable customer feedback and insights that could help your business succeed.

4. Create A Sense Of Urgency

One of the easiest ways to build brand likeability is by creating a sense of urgency. This means making people feel as though there's something at stake. It could be a contest where the winner gets a prize, or it could be a promotion where the first 100 people who sign up receive a gift. Whatever it is, make sure it's clear what the stakes are.

5. Focus On The Customer Experience

Another way to build brand likeability involves focusing on the customer experience. If you're selling products, you should focus on how those products will benefit customers. If you're providing services, you should focus on the benefits your clients will gain from using your service.

6. Give Them Something They Can't Resist

People love free stuff. It's why we buy things at stores, why we subscribe to magazines, and why we watch TV shows. We also love getting something for nothing. That's why people go crazy when they see a coupon for a free meal or product.

7. Be authentic

This is probably the most important thing to remember. Authenticity is the main difference between a good seller and a great one. If you are being genuine and honest, people will notice and appreciate it.

Generally, business is also about the consumers since they're the one who will benefit the product or service. Anyway. Nice context! Stay safe and see you around.
