" Excited for the event buy turns out Epic" I think it was the other month when I shared that my friend was wanting to fulfill her bucket list for this year and that was to witness the hot air balloon. I, being supportive , agreed to go with her to Pampanga for the incoming ***" Food & Music Festival _ Hot air balloon display and night glow".*** We bought a ticket and even booked a condotel near the place for our convenience We chose the second day celebration which was last Saturday, June 11, 2022. The reason why I was inactive was because I was going to Pampanga and it was supposed to be two hours only. Yet we didn't expect that long queue of passengers at the bus terminal. We arrived at 9AM and it was already 11 in the morning and we were still in line. The weather was so humid and we were already sweating. We ended up renting a carpool though the fare was more expensive. Bus fare is only $4.52 while carpool cost $11.31. Yet the struggle didn't end there as we were welcomed by terrible traffic! We started travelling at 12PM yet we arrived in Pampanga past 3PM. We even skipped lunch. So we decided to eat unlimited samgyupsal (korean BBQ). And you know your author is not fond of cooking so thanks to Ms. Jeanny. I was just waiting for cooked food, lol!

After our famished stomach was fulfilled we decided to go back to the condotel to freshen up and proceed at the venue. You know the feeling that you were so excited, fresh and even some expected scenes were already playing in my mind. Like, maybe I am already jumping, shouting while singing along with the artist while holding at least one bottle of beer in my hand. For sure that would be fun! Right? We tried to book a grab but it seemed no driver was available so we opted for a taxi. Sad to know the driver's advice as to just walk as the traffic was terrible. Like cars were no longer moving going to the event place. Oh good thing we just ate dinner.

See the traffic? Going to the event place was like I was in a procession of saints, you know " alay lakad". It was, I think, not less than 4kilometers away. When we arrive near the event place we are welcome by LONG CONGESTED QUEUING LINE. I even lost two of my companions. I guess they were dragged away to us. It was too crowded that even air could no longer pass! Like " magpapalit na ng mukha"!

I stood there in line for I think an hour before I got a chance to enter the event place. which I think doesn't make a difference. The place was also overcrowded. I do understand that if the ticket is not VIP as expected it was far from the stage. But what's worse, they lack sound and even led TV. I only saw ONE! How can they expect those in general admission to enjoy it? Tickets were not even checked properly so for sure you can enter even if you will just show them a fabricated screenshot. It was supposed to be a FOOD feast yet we even had a hard time buying even DRINKS. You know the feeling of standing in a long line only to be disappointed as no more drinks are available! What I bought was just a cold coffee! Black COFFEE which is too strong and TOO bitter! what the heck. I just wasted not only my MONEY but also my TIME. I did not enjoy it, I just tired myself. I know it was only me as I could hear many people ranting. What poor management! I regret I didn't listen to Moonie when she told me not to pursue my plan. Negative comments were even shared on Facebook and even on Tiktok! Since it already happened and I can't do anything about it, we just decided to go back in the condotel and enjoy ourselves in night swimming. Good thing there was a swimming pool. So my weekend was just I traveled to Pampanga just to eat and sleep! LOL!. How about you?
