Ever thought that no matter how much you try, and no matter how many winnings you achieve in life, you end up feeling unhappy or unsatisfied with the things that you have achieved or done.
Fret not my friend. I understand what you're feeling. Today, we're going to chunk why are you feeling that way and how can you mend it for you to have a happy and better life.
Three Main Reasons Why You Feel Unhappy
A lot of things are going on with your mind, and you don't know what are the factors of your unhappiness. Even though people find your achievements so great, you can't still find the happiness in your heart.
Now, let me share three points that could somehow make you understand why you're feeling that way:
Worrying a Lot
Life has so many pressures. Pressures come from your family, friends, or even from the thought of the unknown. These pressures when they will not be unloaded in our hearts and minds could lead to something big. It could give a big impact on our health. It could somehow yield to you worrying a lot.
"Worrying wipes your happiness away."
The sad thing about worrying is it will yield on you to create scenarios in your head. Scenarios that don't exist in the first place, but you get affected a lot from them. You focus a lot on worrying that your mind will be shifted on the negative things alone; even though you have already achieved great things in life, you're still unhappy as you already overthink the negative things in life instead of focusing on the positive things that happened.
Always remember that your mental health matters. Never abuse yourself by worrying a lot. Whenever you feel like you're in that situation again, try to shift your attention to things that matter. Try to do things that would help boost your mood and will forget all the worries you have in mind. Try to do exercise, eat healthily, and name a few. Not to mention, whenever you see yourself in that situation, try to pray and communicate to your God as it will ease your troubles away. Needless to say, never allow negative or toxic people to enter your life as they will only give negativity to your mind. Stop worrying, start mastering the art of positive thinking for a happy living.

Comparing Your Life to Others
Comparing your pages to others could wipe the happiness in your heart. Imagine you already have all the things you wished for from the start, but as you achieved your goal, you end up having the feeling of unsatisfaction as you look at the achievements of others and you see that they achieve greater things than you. Instead of you feeling grateful to finally reach the goal you planted in your mind in the first place, you end up feeling jealous of the achievement of others.
Just so you know, comparing yourself to others would never plant contentment in your heart. If there's no contentment, you will not feel any satisfaction. And if no satisfaction, you will end up feeling unhappy about your achievements in life as you think they're not greater ones.
"You will never see that your mug is already full if you keep on looking at the mug of others."
So try your best to avoid comparing yourself to others as the pages of your book are not the same as theirs. You have a unique book, and so are they. With that, stop comparing and focus on your goals. If you ever achieve the goals you have in mind, be grateful for them. It's the little things that count. Never allow greediness to creep into your mind as it will ruin you as a whole. Be grateful for what you have and be contented with what you have achieved so far. These acts could give you a happy life.
Surrounded with Negative People
Being surrounded by negative people could somehow add an impact on your life. You see if you ever achieve wonderful things in life and the people around you would only tell you sarcastic comments instead of a congratulatory message, you will end up feeling bad for the things you have achieved. Instead of feeling happy, you end up feeling sad about the achievement that comes in your life.
"Avoid negative people as they will not give something good in your life."
If you are surrounded by negative people, try to stay away from them. Being unappreciated by the people around you will not give you something good in your life. It will only give you unhappiness and doubt. Try to be with people who are good in your mental health. Those who are genuinely happy for your success, and appreciate you a lot.
Closing Thoughts
Indeed, there are a lot of factors that make us feel so sad. A lot of things that would add heaviness to our hearts. What I mentioned above are just some of it. Howbeit, I would like to note that if your want to be genuinely happy, try to avoid the things that I mentioned as they will only make you sad.

Now if you are ever stuck on feeling unhappy again. Change your mindset. Think and do things that will add positivity to your life. Create your happiness and be grateful for every blessing that life has showered towards you.
