Howdy folks, how are you all doing? Today is Sunday and the weekend is technically over unless you don't consider Sunday the beginning of a new week.
Tomorrow is the not-so-popular Monday, and we will all go back to our weekday activities (work, school). Some people like Jane didn't even enjoy their weekend, as she still had to go to work that day.
A review of my weekend

Part one: A new routine
I woke up at about 1am and noticed my phone lying next to me, which is weird coz I usually don't keep it on the bed when I want to sleep, then I suddenly remembered I dozed off yesterday while writing my new month article.
For someone that planned on writing an article every day, I got off on a very rusty start (not the rusty we all know 😉). I slept off again and woke up at 5am to finally complete my article, I ranted about it on noise.cash and decided I was gonna change my daily readcash routine.
When I wake up every morning, I usually prioritize other people's articles and end up spending a major part of the morning reading and commenting on them, then I focus on writing my article later in the evening.
The problem with the above setup is that I'm usually very tired at the end of the day and I end up dozing off while writing (I'm getting bored to death by my own articles! 😂 I feel betrayed).
So right now I have decided to change my routine by writing early in the morning when I wake up and then focus on other articles for the rest of the day. Even if I end up not going through my notifications for the day, I can always continue the next day.
Shanich is certainly right, I wasn't looking at it this way and that is the reason why I couldn't meet up with 30 articles last month. I ended up missing 4 days because I was always sleeping off when writing at night.
I can manage to write at any time during weekends, but on weekdays I spend a major part of my day at school and I come back home in the evening very tired. It's certainly much better to write when we wake up and our brain is still fully charged, don't you agree?
Part two: A low battery
I already published my article for the day, so I had enough time for read.cash and noise.cash. We had a power outage the previous day (a day the country was supposedly celebrating her independence!) and there was no light for the major part of the day.
I relied on my power bank but it went off that morning. I considered walking into the university to charge my phone later in the afternoon, but the sun was very hot. I decided I was going to wait for a while and see if power was going to be restored later in the day.
I continued grinding on read.cash and at one point, I became sleepy. I rarely sleep in the afternoon but it was very much needed at that point, so I can keep my phone and conserve battery. I woke up some hours later to the noise of my ceiling fan; power has been restored!
I happily plugged in my phone to the charger and went to do some laundry while my phone is charging. The sun is happily blazing away and it felt like a perfect time for laundry.
I hanged my clothes outside to dry after washing them but within a few minutes, the weather suddenly changed and it started raining like crazy! It felt like I have been set up and led into a trap by mother nature 😂
I resigned to my fate and just left the clothes there, I know there would be enough sunshine on Sunday. After eating the meal I prepared earlier, I went back to readcash and noisecash.
I saw a notification of a new article by ma'am Jonica, and it turns out it was one of her weekly prompts. I opened it and it wasn't exactly what I was expecting; I was rolling on the floor with laughter as I was reading it 😂
I haven't laughed so hard for a while, her article was the best thing I have read for the entire day. I will certainly be taking part in the prompt, but I guess I will look for a day within this week to write about it.
You all are welcome to also take part in the prompt, I want to read even more funny entries and I wonder if anyone will outdo ma'am Jonica. Check her article for the rules and guidelines on how to go about it
Conclusion
That was pretty much my boring weekend. The only interesting thing I did was watching the popular squid game series, but I only watch episodes one and two, and now I see why Jane is always talking about it, I might also end up creating an entire article about the series 😆
The weekend didn't run as fast as other weekends, probably because Friday was a public holiday in my country and I didn't go anywhere, so it kinda felt like I had two Saturdays 😉
So how did you spend your weekend? You did anything fun with it or was it also as boring as mine?
PS: So sorry that I haven't visited articles since morning, I have been very busy at the fish farm since 8am and I will focus on engaging when I get home.
Thanks for reading 💗💗💗
October 3rd, 2021
The emotions were high during my weekend. It started friday morning, October 1 when my boyfriend's brother died in a motorbike accident. Sad weekend for us.
