My MyDefiPet Thoughts About The Current Game: Boss Fight, PvP Arena And Future Sustainability.

MyDefiPet is the first blockchain game I ever introduced and wrote about more than six months by now just before it gets a lot of attentions from many people, and I can say that this game pretty solid when you think about it's long term potential. MyDefiPet has been around for almost a year by now and the effort made by the developers of this game is pretty great that they even won the Most Valuable Builder 2 from BSC. MyDefiPet, if I'm not wrong, is the first blockchain game on BSC, however it is not yet in its full Play-To-Earn mode unlike the projects.
This will article will just be plainly a random thoughts of mine for being in the MyDefiPet Community and playing the game.
Investors And Players Are Very Eager Now.
The game has been around for a year now. The project made a great community and a wide user base because they saw a huge potential in the game that it could be one of the greatest Play-To-Earn Blockchain Game in the near future.
However, the game looks like taking a very long time for the promised PvP Arena (P2E experience) that causes for the few people to leave the game and will just come back when it's available.
But don't get me wrong, MyDefiPet has a P2E game now which is the Boss Fight - where players send their pets in the battlefield to defeat a monster together with other players. But, it is obviously not enough especially for players who only has a few pets in their account (less than 5 pets). Players can earn the in-game currency of the game called Elixir and that could be exchanged in $DPET token where the ratio is 1,000 Elixir for 1 $DPET token.
But is the Boss Fight profitable?
Well, for someone who has lots of good pets, evolved or leveled up it and a pet with good stats, yes! Those players who have the means or lucky to have a good pet can earn more than $20 worth of Elixir in a single Boss Fight. But, if you are just a very average player with just a normal pet, you can consider yourself lucky if you can earn $5 of Elixir in a single Boss Fight.
That's why many players, especially with low-level pets, are very excited for the PvP Arena to see what their pets can do for them and how can they earn back their invested money from it.
On my personal view, when PvP Arena is fully launched for players to play, the game could easily matched with Axie Infinity as both of them have almost the same mechanism when it comes to their tokens. But I can say that MyDefiPet could probably outmatched Axie Infinity on this one as Axie Infinity has a big problem when it comes to rewarding players with their secondary token - Smooth Love Potion (SLP).
The secondary currency of MyDefiPet called Elixir will have no Liquidity or cannot be bought in any Exchanges, but this could still be changed when PvP comes.
Elixir is only accessible inside the game of MyDefiPet and can be earn through their P2E modes and then can be exchanged to $DPET tokens. Elixir have a high chance as the reward currency in PvP Arena to people who wants ranked up their game and get to the top of the leaderboard.
As of now, there is still no threat that Elixir will suffer like $SLP when it comes to price as the currency is rationed to 1000:1 to $DPET, no matter what the price of $DPET is.
When Arena PvP is live, players playing the game and get rewarded with Elixir, is the real time where we can finally say if the game is really sustainable. As we saw in the current NFT games now, most the games launched died easily because of the economic problem they encountered, they can't sustain the game's balance when it comes to rewarding the players. But if MyDefiPet can come up with a great solution to that problem, then it will be really be worth waiting for the time when the game fully launch their other P2E modes.

I am one of the early players of the game and didn't get the money back invested but I feel no regrets yet as I can still clearly see the great potential of the game in the long run especially this year 2022. Right now, I have just been keep on farming and leveling up my pets for the upcoming PvP Arena and at the same time take part in the Boss Fight to have some few bucks in my account. Let's just keep on farming, leveling and enjoy the current game.
