How to deal with someone with Anxiety disorder!

In today’s article I'm going to be talking about how to deal with a person who is suffering from an anxiety disorder. A lot of people are going through anxiety disorder, and it has begun to affect their daily lives from relationships to careers and many more. If you have any person with such symptoms, your duty is to support them and help them through such situations by being as nice as possible without judging them.
**The first thing** you want to realize is that the person who is experiencing or suffering from anxiety disorder did not choose their condition willingly and might have been brought about by some unconscious behaviour patterns or thought patterns but most likely they did not wake up one day and say I think I want to suffer from an anxiety disorder.
**The second thing** that you want to remember is not to get angry or direct your frustration toward that person for their condition as it'll only make them worse, and it will alienate you from them. You also don't want to chastise that person for their condition or make fun of them or somehow make them feel guilty for the position that they're in.
**As the time comes** that the person undertakes therapy and other ways to heal themselves as they undertake that process of exposure therapy which involves exposing themselves to situations that once brought about unnecessarily high anxiety and they confront it and they face it head-on, it must be done in sufficiently small steps for it to achieve its efficacy.
So, the thing to remember is as they're undertaking this exposure is not to rush them or pressure them into taking extra steps going further than they're comfortable with. They must take it at their own pace. It's very important otherwise it's just going to create more anxiety and it may even set them back from their goals.
**Be supportive of the person**. Any moral support that they get is always good, so it's also important to maintain a positive attitude. Try to limit any negativity around them. Throw away negative behaviour or negative speech and encourage them to believe that everything's gonna work out and that they're going to overcome their disorder.
So just remember to encourage the person but don't push too hard. If you push too hard, you’ll push them into another panic attack. The goal is to desensitize them to situations that once brought about unnecessarily high anxiety. The goal is- as soon as they have a panic attack in a particular situation that tends to bring such attacks episodes, they need to reassess that situation and the goal is to associate those situations that one sparked about anxiety with feelings of peace and calm.

**1. A Racing Heartbeat**
Anxiety is when you suddenly feel like you’re not in control and you begin to panic. Eventually, the fight or flight reaction kicks in. This is your brain telling you to either attack and manage the situation, or simply flee. We’ve all felt our hearts skip a beat when we feel nervous. On the other hand, a racing heart, or chronic heart palpitations mean you’re going through something more serious.
If your heart feels like it’s about to burst out of your chest, you’re probably worried about something. When you notice this symptom coming on, try to calm your breathing, or take your anxiety medication.
**2. Shaking or Trembling**
During an anxiety attack, your hands may begin to tremble and your body becomes wobbly. This is another sign that your body is in fight-or-flight mode. It’s a reaction to anything that has stressed you out such as a difficult day at work, or a bad breakup.
Everyone has a fight-or-flight response. This can help you make fast decisions in life-or death situations. Chemicals like adrenaline and cortisol rush into your body so you can act quickly. But, if your body remains in fight-or-flight during stressful moments that don’t immediately put you in danger, symptoms like these might occur.
**3. Mouth Feeling Dry**
During anxiety attacks, your mouth may suddenly become dry. You feel like saliva in your mouth has suddenly vanished without reason, and you find it difficult to speak up. This is commonly referred to as “cottonmouth”. It can occur if you suffer from acid reflux, or if you breathe with your mouth open. To deal with this problem, you need to drink lots of water!
However, dryness in the mouth can also be a side effect of several meds. If you notice this happening after taking your pills, talk to your doctor
**4. Tingling, Numbness, or Burning**
A common indicator is sudden numbness in certain parts of the body such as the arms and legs. This happens because blood has been drained into specific parts of the body, thus getting you ready for fight or flight because the brain believes you are in danger and you need either run from the source of danger or attack.
**5. Breathing Difficulties**
Breathing difficulties may occur during anxiety episodes, thus making it difficult for you to take deep breaths. But you end up with shallow breaths which makes you feel like you’re choking. You do not need to panic when these occurs. Breathing exercises can help you gain control of your breath.
*There are many more symptoms to help you recognise an anxiety attack. Do not depend on these alone but consult your doctor immediately if you think you are having an anxiety attack. Your health is your priority!*

"I feel bad having to leave you with the dishes” Tulip said while Charles dealt with the dishes in the kitchen. “I know this may affect your writing time, but beer time is beer time, she said white holding a bottle in her hand. "No worries. You guys did the cooking so there's nothing wrong if I deal with it alone", Charles replied.
"By the way, Where's Mayora?", he asked. “She's probably in her room reading. She goes to her room immediately after dinner so it's no surprise. She makes me feel lonely most times”. Tulip said.
"Isn't that because you get drunk after every dinner? NO one would want to be with a drink you know”, Charles said jokingly. "Hey, no formalities. Haven't I told you no "miss Tulip’ when we're home. I noticed you said it's several times during dinner. I don't want it anymore”, she said in a firm tone.
Excuse me... I mean... I'm sorry, Charles replied.
"It's okay. I know it's sudden and you can't adjust immediately. Just take your time", Tulip said with a smile. "You know we're siblings now, so if there's something bothering you don't hesitate to let me know. You should feel free to talk to me about it”, Tulip said and massaged his shoulders gently.
“You know… there's something I'd like to ask. I'm sorry If It's not my business but are things not going too well with you and your boyfriend?", Charles asked and closed the tap before him. The smile on Tulips face fades slowly. She takes a deep breath.
"Did Mayora tell you anything”, she asked.
"No, she didn't”.
“I don't think I want to talk! about it"
“That confirms it. She has a boyfriend and he's probably not treating her well”, Charles thought to himself. "Hey what are you thinking? You shouldn't worry about me. You've also got personal worries. “Why don't you tell your big sis what’s on your mind", she said and winked at him.
"Worries? Do I have any? I don’t think so.
“Liar”, she retorted.
"Okay fine. Maybe my hair it's always curling up each time and looks weird. Should be worried about that?", Charles said jokingly. "You don't have to worry about it", Tulip said and moved closer to where Charles was standing. She stood so close to him that there was barely an inch of space between them.
Tulip looked up to his face as he was a few inches taller. "From this point of view, I'd say there's nothing wrong with your hair for. As me, I'm jealous of yours! She said and moved a step backwards. "Look at my hair, it's straight and fine and attractive", she said while twisting her hair around her fingers.
"Try feeling it," she said and raised the hair towards him "They’re really soft", he said as he caressed them softly and slid his hand down from the top of her head down to her neck.
"You've got really soft hair, and you look beautiful altogether, he said while looking into her eyes. "Hey, no flirting with your big sis", Tulip said and hit him in the chest playfully. She took her hair and places it on his nose. "Achoo! Are you trying to choke me? he said firmly".
"You let your guard down prince charming”, She took a step backwards and suddenly tripped. Charles quickly leaned forward and caught her in mid-air with his right hand around her waist and left hand holding has right hand. He bent over her for a few seconds, and they stared into each other soul for a few seconds. Charles moved his lips closer to her and was about to kiss her when Tulip’s phone rang.

"Good morning, everyone", Tony says as he walks into the dining room. The whole family except Tulip was already seated and was digging into their breakfast. "Good morning", they all replied.
"Looks like it's my favourite food- noodles and chicken", Tulip said as she sat down on the dining chair.
"Chicken lover. You'd soon grow wings" Charles teased.
"And I'd fly to my dream country", she responded with a simile.
"There's an announcement for everyone", Tony said with a large smile.
"Laurel and I are going to the registry today after which would be officially married", he said joyously.
"Which means today would be your wedding anniversary date”, Tulip said with s smile.
"Congratulations. dad, I'm so happy for you", Charles said in excitement. "Thank you", he replied. "So we're gonna be going out afterwards.
“I and Tony will be eating out and wouldn't be back until late evening It's gonna be only the three of you at home. Is that okay?”, Maurice said.
Of course, that's okay. There's an adult in the house to take care of everything", Tulip said while pointing at herself with a creepy Smile. “Adult that gets drunk all the time. Try not to be drunk this time, okay?”, Laurel said.
"I'd drink in moderation. No, worries everything is under Control", she said. "You'd be making your siblings so try to be responsible", Laurel said, "Yes" Ma'am. I'd make them my special delicacy and they’d beg for more”, Tulip said with pride.
“You too Mayora, help your sister in the kitchen”
“Hmm...”, she nodded as she had her mouth full of noodles.
“I wonder if Tulip is a good cook”, Charles thought to himself as he looked at her and blushed.
**6.00 pm!**
Here we go", Tulip said as she arranged the dining table while serving dinner. “Big sis has made dinner”, she said aloud and stood by the table until Charles and Mayora came in through the door.
“What took you so long?”, she said as they moved towards the dining table and sat down. Charles opened his mouth wide in surprise. "Amazing! Did you do all this by yourself?”, he asked while staring at the delicacy in front of him. "Not really. Mayora assisted in the cooking" Tulip replied.
"Don't believe whatever she says, I simply stood there while she did all the work", Tulip said in denial and began to dig into the food before her.
"Now I don't know what to believe”, Charles said in a low tone. "Doesn't matter. Dig in already", Tulip said and began to eat.
Charles took a bite, "This is just perfect, he said and smiled ·largely. Your cooking is good, just like in restaurants. You shouldn't be working in a school Miss Tulip, you should work as a chef”, he said in excitement.
"Mayora actually made that", "Tulip Said. Charles looked disappointed on hearing this, so what did you make miss Tulip?", he asked.
"I made this and this", she said while pointing at the Tomato slices, grated Vegetables and chopped meat on the table. "You call that cooking?”, Charles said looking disappointed.
"I left these to Tulip so she can add the Seasonings. It'd be risky If I put it as I may make a mistake", Mayora said.
"So, why did you deny cooking it? You cooked it and Tulip added the seasoning to the Vegetables. She didn't even cook the main dish. Now I see who assisted who" he said frowning.
"Hey, don't get too serious and take a bite already", Tulip said while pointing at the meat and vegetables.
"Alright fine", Charles said and picked up a fork from the tray in front of him. He grabbed a piece of meat coupled with a Tomato slice and took a bite. "So, how is it?" Tulip asked. "Uhm... It's not so bad... I like the thickness of the tomato slice, the seasoning in the meat is just perfect”, he said.
“I can imagine how perfect is must be”, Mayora said sarcastically while shaking her head.
Trick or treat- comfy clothes or Pyjamas

Hello read.cash fam- it's a brand new day, woke up feeling different which is why I decided I'd be doing something different as well. I'm saying "**No**" to **top 10's and top 5's** of **this and that,** but would be answering random questions as inspired by @Olasquare which he received from @Princessbusayo as originally inspired by @Mayiee.
**I prefer the lights off**
As an adult, I don't like leaving the lights on as compared to when I was a kid where I always preferred the lights on whenever I wanted to sleep. Even during the day, I always found it difficult to go t any dark section of the house without light or someone following me due to fear of being taken away by an unknown spirit lol! You can't blame me for being that way as a kid- I always had lots of night mares and screamed from my sleep on most nights hence I developed this strong fear of the unknown which didn't end until I was 12 or so.
Now as an adult, I prefer the darkness. Even during the day once the living room or bedroom is too bright, I wouldn't feel comfortable but would have to put the curtains down due to one reason- "***I'm Batman***".. hahaha!
**I'm a light sleeper**
I used to be a heavy sleeper when I was younger but I guess we change as we grow up. For the past seven years, I've not been a healthy sleeper. I barely sleep for more than four (4) hours and within this four-hour period, I may wake up like four or five times for no reason at all. I'd simply wake up, stare into space for a few minutes then sleep off again. Thus making it seem like I didn't sleep at all. Regarding being a light sleeper, I find it weird but I wake up once I hear the slightest sound- almost like my body's fight or flight mechanism is overactive, perhaps because I got killed in my sleep in my previous life. Lol!
**Regardless of weather, fan will always be on**
First thing to be noted is that I have a poor heat resistance as already stated in the article "**Poor heat resistance; I can't take it anymore**", which means the fan must always be on because my body is not suited for the Nigerian weather, I'm simply struggling. Now, even in the cold weather, just like Mr. @Olasquare I still like the fan on because there's this special feeling that comes with it. I'm not really a fan of pillows. Just one pillow is okay for me. There was even a time in my life when I didn't care about pillows. I simply lay on bed and zoom off into dreamland, until recently when my body began to crave for a soft pad beneath my head. I guess we really do change as we grow. But instead of several, I'd prefer just one.

As mentioned by @Princessbusayo in her article **Which do I prefer?**, "***They say the rich and successful people work at night and do not sleep early. Why would I go to bed early when I have a lot to do?***". I'm a living example of that statement. Every successful man or woman spends time working, analysing and strategizing even when it's not convenient. I barely sleep at night and sleep past 2 or 3 am on most nights while I still wake early in a bid to make ends meet via several platforms on the internet.
Even when I'm not working, I still find it difficult to sleep early because I'm already used to not sleeping early- I can say it's been a part of me since childhood. The good old days where I and my dad usually spends the whole night watching action movies and WWE (for those that understand). That blanket must always be on me no matter what. And the thick one is most preferred. I don't feel comfortable without a blanket on me. Since the fan is always on, there's no problem regarding how thick it is.

pJ? Nah, not in this life time. I always put on full clothing whenever I'm going to bed- a shirt and a trouser with my socks. You may find it weird that I put on my socks while sleeping, but the thing is I don't feel comfortable with my legs exposed even during the day, I put on my socks as long as I'm indoor, which is why I don't put on slippers but got a lot of canvas so I'd simply stick my leg in one with my socks on while taking a short walk down the street.
For me, it's comfy clothes and no PJ.

I drink a lot of water everyday and sometimes drink up to 10 litres which is why I urinate every 1o minutes Lol...that was a joke. I don't urinate every ten minutes. My point is- I drink a lot of water daily for no reason at all-once I see those water sachets, I feel like devouring them all which proves that I'm so much in love with water. I love milk too and could kill for them but nothing can replace water. ***Water is life***.

"I'm glad Mayora was finally able to get along with her classmates", Charles thought as he stood in front of the bathroom and stripped down to his boxers. He opened the door to the bathroom and froze at the sight of Mayora. She was right there, naked in the bathtub half filled with water. Charles freaked out and ran out while slamming the door behind him.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were here", he said in a terrified voice.
You shouldn't be bothered. We've already seen each other naked before. It’s not like me or you have suddenly become bigger", Mayora said and laughed sarcastically.
"It doesn't matter if..."
"If it doesn't matter then come in, Mayora said.
"But we're siblings. Even if we're now siblings, we're still..."
Mayora cuts in "Charles please come in. Just come in with me one more time. Let's have some fun", she said.
"For real? Uhm. okay", Charles said with his eyes wide open, and opened the door slowly.
"Come in... Come in", She said, after which he closed the door behind him and moved closer,
"I knew it. The only way to make you come in is by saying those words, you pervert", Mayora said and laughed sarcastically while Charles opened his mouth wide.
"I've been tricked", he said.
"What are you thinking? That we'd have sex again? Nah. Sit down we need to talk. Some things can't be said in the living room. Mayora said while tapping on the side rest of the tub, signalling Charles to sit down.
"What do you want to talk about?", Charles asked in a serious tone.
"Why were you trying to kiss Tulip last night? Your hand was already in her cloth. I wonder what would have happened next if I hadn't come by", Mayora said.
"It's... it's not what...", Charles stammered.
"Cut the crap and listen to me", she said
and continued. "I had seen you as an irresponsible person and a womanizer from that point, but after what you did at school, I began to see you differently", she said, and Charles took a deep breath.
"I want to say thank you. You made everyone see me differently. I really appreciate it", she said calmly.
"It's nothing. You know don't have to be alone every time. You need friends and you wouldn't get any if you maintained that attitude", Charles said.
"About Tulip, did she ask for it?", Mayora asked.
"Uhm... uhm...", Charles was speechless. He opened his eyes wide and mumbled weirdly.
"It doesn't matter anyway", Mayora said and continued. "I guess you heard about her boyfriend and perhaps tried to give her emotional support in your own way", she said.
"What?" Is Tulip going through a hard time in her relationship or something?", Charles asked.
"Oh! If you haven't heard anything then I'd better not spill it. Forget about what I said”, Mayora said calmly and got out of the bathtub.
"Just tell me what's going on", Charles retorted.
"Nah. It's not for me to tell you. Let her be the one to tell you herself", She said and walked out of the bathroom while closing the door behind her.
"She keeps saying forget this, forget that. No one ever tells me anything in this house, even dad", he said in frustration.

Petting a cat in seven (7) steps

As pet parents, there’s nothing we love more than cuddling with our cat and feeling their love. But sometimes your pet will suddenly bite you, leaving you confused, and you start to wonder if the love is mutual, which leads to the question of “do cats like being petted as much as we think they do?” The answer is yes if you do it correctly.
In this article I’d be sharing we are sharing a step-by-step guide to pet your cat properly and build a strong bond between you and your cat.
**1. Understand their body language**
First, we must know that not all cats want to be petted, and that a cat might want to be petted right now but maybe not the next moment. This requires us to understand their body language and figure out when they want to be petted.
**Here are the signs when they are friendly and might want to be petted:**
1. They have their tail all the way up and walking around you, and their tail gently waves from side to side while held in the air.
2. They bump their head to you and rub their side chin against your leg or other body parts.
3. They have a relaxed posture, that their ears are pointed forward.
4. They look at you and blink slowly, purring or kneading you with their front feet.
**In contrast, here are several signs they do not want to be petted:**
1. They walk away or hide from you.
2. When you try to touch them, they bend down to avoid your touch.
3. When they are in play or fight mode, their eats flatten or rotate backward.
4. Sudden movements like flipping up and trying to bite or scratch you.
**2. Let the cat pet you**
After we see the signs and conclude that they are calm and want to be petted, it becomes so tempting for us to just start to stroke their hair, but that’s not the best step. Cats like to take it slow and feel in control too, so instead, we want them to approach us, sniff us, and rub their head against our feet or hands. All we do is sit or stand there and relax. They will go back and forth to “mark” that we are theirs.
**3. Start with self-introduction**
When they pace back and forth and bump their head and body against us, it’s still not the time to start to pet them yet. We want to put up our fingers, in a very relaxed way, and approach the cat. If they like you and want to be petted, they will sniff for a couple of seconds, and rub their head against your fingers. This is like our self-introduction.
Even when they live with us and we had introduced ourselves a thousand times before, it never hurts to do this again, take it slow and follow the cat’s pace. After they have accepted our introduction, it’s finally time to pet them.
**4. Pet their face**
In this step, we are focusing on areas with scent glands, it’s basically telling them, mark us, we want to be your friends. Following the cat’s lead, gently use the back of our hand to touch the area between the eye and the ear. This is where their scent glands located. Then we can slowly move on to a soft-chin scratch. Gently touch their forehead and their side cheeks.
**5. Stroke their back**
When they are comfortable with all the previous steps, we can start to gently stroke their back. From their forehead to tail, go with the direction the fur grows. Don’t go back and forth, stick with one direction, some cats don’t like their hair getting messed up or they feel uncomfortable that way. If they purr while you are doing this, they really enjoy it.
**6. Don’t pet them like dogs**
Another thing is that if they flip over and expose their belly to you, people tend to start to pet them like dogs. That’s not how cats work. When cats show their belly, it’s their way of showing trust, but that is not an invitation for belly rubs. And that’s how people get bit and scratched.
**7. Avoid sensitive areas**
Avoid sensitive areas like their belly and legs if you aren’t confident that the cat won’t bite you.
**Conclusion**
During any of these steps, we really must pay attention to their body language and decide whether they like it. Some cat parents don’t understand why they seem okay with being petted, and suddenly they start to grab our hands and bite. Their body language has been telling you this whole time, that their tail swinging back and forth, faster, and faster. That’s telling you that they are getting annoyed and overstimulated, and please stop.
Of course, if we ignore that sign, their frustration grows like a bubble, bigger and bigger, and suddenly it bursts. So, they will have to do something major to let you know you need to stop

Feeling of guilt II

"You're already saying I shouldn't talk to you at school, so what do you want?”, Mayora retorted and walked into her class.
"Charles, there's something we'd like to ask”, Phillip and Jacob said as they approached him.
"Looks like your little reunions is over, Jacob said with a wink and laughed out loudly.
"Tell me are you guys on?”, Phillip asked while clenching his first and putting his right index finger in and out sarcastically.
"She's my sibling you moron, and no we're not on”, he said with his inner voice. He was lost in thoughts for a few seconds and Phillip snapped him out of it by tapping his forehead.
"No, we're not... we are totally strangers", Charles said with a plain face.
"Come on don't give me that", Jacob retorted. You didn't tell us what happened between you and Mayora after you suddenly disappeared from the match making club", Phillip said.
"He's been secretly enjoying himself”, Phillip said while grabbing Charles’ neck playfully. “Guys seriously it was nothing. Nothing happened between us. I guess she was only pressured into attending the meeting. She wasn’t even interested in me”, Charles said in denial.
“Huh…? You mean?”
“Yes, nothing happened”
“You’re such a disappointment”, Phillip said and continued. “I and Maurice had the time of our life, and she even came back for more”
“Really?”, Charles asked.
“Of course. What do you expect from a macho man?”, he said with pride.
“Macho man my ass”, Jacob retorted.
“Let’s get to class, it’s five minutes to first period”, Charles said, after which they all walked towards the classroom.
“Uhm… excuse me, I gotta go to the restroom. I’d join you guys shortly”, Charles said.
“Alright don’t be long”, Phillip and Jacob responded and walked towards the classroom while Charles turned around and went straight towards the restroom.
Walking down the hall, Tulip called unto him from behind. “Hey Mr. Charles, what’s with the hair? You look like you’re about to get struck by lightning”, she said as she approached him.
“Damn… Tulip again”, his inner voice said as he turned around to face her. “I woke up late and forgot to deal with it. My hair is pretty stubborn”, he said and grinned.
“I told Mayora to wake you up this morning before I left home, I almost forgot that all she does is call your name once and walks away if you don’t answer the first time”, Tulip explained. “I’m sorry Mr. Charles”, Tulip said in a remorseful tone.
“Alright…. alright. You’ve got a really creepy girl for a sister”, Charles said.
“I know. Anyway, you should do something about your hair”, Tulip said while rubbing her hands over his hair. “I’ve been trying to but everyone keeps scattering it just like you’re doing right now”, Charles said with a grin and continued. “By the way, have you told anyone here that we are now siblings?
“No, why?”
“I don’t think there’s any reason for anyone to know about our relationship. I’d like us to keep it private”, Charles said.
“If that’s what you want then it’s no problem. I’d do anything for my younger brother”, Tulip said and winked at him.

Charles Pulled his hand out of her clothes quickly and jumped to his feet. "I… I… It's not what you think”, he said and froze at a spot.
"Shh!”, Mayora said with her finger over her lips. She moved closer to where Charles stood and pushed him aside with her shoulders.
Smack! Smack! She slaps Tulip’s arm twice. “Come on Tulip, let’s go inside” said and pulled her off the chair unto the floor. Tulip's body smashes against the floor which made Charles scream loudly, "What are you doing? Isn’t that too harsh”, he asked with his eyes wide open.
“That's how I do it each time she gets drunk”, Mayora said. She grabs Tulip’s right hand and begins dragging her across the sitting room into the until the dining ream until they reach the passage entrance. She looks back at Charles, “I wouldn't blame you. I’d put the blame on Tulip for being careless”, she said and rolled her eyes. After which she walks into the passageway while dragging Tulip on the floor.

He jumps out of the bathroom a few seconds later and looks at the time. It was 8.32 am. He puts on his uniform swiftly, picked up his bag and dashed out of his room at super speed. "Can't believe they all left home without me, he said loudly as he approached the door. He slams the door behind him, locks it and dashed unto the street for school.
"It's unusual for you to be late Charles. What's going on? Phillip said as Charles halted in front of him panting heavily. "They. They... didn't wake me. ". Philip cuts in. "Catch your breath, Charles. I wonder what's going on with you”, he said while looking at Charles Strangely.
“I woke up late”, Charles said after catching his breath.
“What’s with the hair? You look unkempt”.
“I didn’t have time. I was in a hurry and completely forgot about it”, Charles responded while trying to straighten his hair with his hands.
Jacob walks in. “Guess what. I heard there’s a new student in class B and female. She came this morning”, Jacob said smiling.

Phillip, Jacob and Charles froze at the sight of the new girl and sweated profusely. “Isn’t that the girl from the match making club?”, Phillip asked with his eyes wide open. “What the hell is happening?”, Charles said with his inner voice as he stared at Mayora.
Mayora suddenly turns around and her eyes met with Charles’s. “Excuse me”, she said to the girls around her as she stood up and walked towards Charles without an expression on her face.
“What’s with the look? Have you seen a ghost?”, she said while looking him in the eye.
"Your hair looks weird Charles. Anyway, mom left your lunch on the table. I bet you. didn't….” Charles interrupts by placing his hand over her mouth.
"What are you doing?”, she mumbled with his hand still over her mouth. He drags her out of the class through the passageway until they get out of the building.
"I won’t mind that the first period is about to begin. I think we need to settle this”, Charles said with a firm look and sweats dripping all over his face.
"Settle what?" Mayora asked.
"You decided to change your schools", Charles asked. "You didn't know?" Mayora replied.
"If I knew I wouldn't be asking. “No one ever tells me anything. It's always so sudden”, Charles said while clenching his fist.
“My former school is a bit for from home and I wouldn't like to stress myself. I'd be mostly exhausted before I even get to school", Mayora explained.
"Alright. But what do you want us to do about it?”, Charles asked.
"Us?" I don't understand" Mayora replied.
"How do we explain our relationship to people here in school?”
"Relationship? Are you referring to the fact that we once had sex and suddenly became siblings?", Maya asked calmly.
“No. No. The sex is between us but…"
“But what?", Mayora cut in. "But do we have to let them know we're now siblings?”
“I think we shouldn't” Charles said. He took a deep breath and continued. “Even if our parents are getting remarried, our last names are not changing so nobody is going to know we're related unless we tell them”
"Why don't you do what you want. It's not like I’d go about telling everyone what’s going on in my life”, she said and walked away.
"Do whatever you want, Charles. I'm out of here, she said as she approached the entrance to the building. Charles grinned as she walked away. "Always harsh and cold. She should go get a life”, he said and followed her immediately.

Two hours later!
“Food tastes better when eaten with family”, Tony said as he took his food from the kitchen into the dining room. Mayora walked over to the freezer in the dining room and took out a bottle of water while Charles sat in the sitting room with his legs crossed and brooding over the ‘Tulip and Mayora’ situation.
"Mayora, make sure you take your bath as soon as Tulip is done, okay?" Laurel said. "Yes ma'am", Mayora responded.
Memories of Mayora's boobs flashed before Charles’ eyes. “There’s no way I can pretend it didn’t happen”, he said with his inner voice and placed his hands on his head as if in regret.
“The shower is just perfect", Tulip said as she walked out of her room into the sitting room. Charles freaked out as he turned towards Tulip. She only had a pant on and a small towel hanging from her neck, thus revealing her full and round b**be with her ni**es pointing out.
“Wha…what are you doing?”, Tony said as the spoon dropped from his hand onto the table. Tulip quickly placed the towel over her chest and walked backwards into the passageway.

“I know but the only way to find out what would happen is to continue to shoot your shots and maybe Tulip will comply. I mean, you’re in the same house, you’d never know what could happen”, Peter said and smiled creepily.
One week later
“It’s a really nice house dad”, Charles said while staring at the house from outside the compound. “Yeah, it is. I searched carefully before picking this one”, Tony said with a smile on his face and continued. “It’s a bit far from the train station and the bus stop but it’s in a quiet environment.
“Yes, it is”, Charles replied sarcastically.
“Let’s get the stuffs unloaded, the delivery company will be bringing the rest of our load soon”, Tony said after which they both moved towards the trunk to begin unloading.
Charles carried one of the large boxes and went into the house. He walked across the living room into the stair way and went up the flight of stairs until he got to the top. He dropped the box and began panting heavily when Tulip suddenly appeared.
“Well done Mr. Charles”, she said.
“When did you get here”, with surprise written all over his face.
“We’ve been here for the past three hours, and we’re done moving in”, she said.
“You mean everyone is here?”
“Yes, we’re all here”, she said. “You know we’d be living under the same roof as from today so you need to drop the formalities. No more ‘miss Tulip’ as from today. Okay?”, she said while rubbing her hands on his hair.
“Yes, but...”
“No buts. Only call me miss Tulip when we’re at school. At home I’m your sister”, she said.
“Alright, alright”, Charles said and rolled his eyes. “It sounds weird Tulip”, he said.
“I know but you’d get used to it in no time”, Tulip responded. “I’d go up to your room and search for naughty stuffs. Those love letters will come in handy and…”. Charles cuts in before she could finish. “Never gonna happen. My room is gonna be locked”, he said.

**1. Cats don’t stink**
Well, stink may be a strong word, but the truth is that dogs have a very strong body odour which most humans find nasty. And let’s not forget about the unbearable wet dog smell. Cats, on the other hand, have no smell, at least no smell our poor sensing noses can detect (provided they are of course spayed or neutered). They do have body smell, this is one of the ways cats recognize each other, but we just can’t sense them.
**2. Cats don’t need baths**
Dogs need baths, even if they live solely indoors. Not as often of course as dogs who regularly go or live outside, but they still do. And bathing a dog can be quite a mess, especially if your dog is on the large size or if your doggo is not fond of baths. Cats, however, as you probably know, are grooming maniacs. So, they don’t need baths, they are doing this job for you!
**3. Cats don’t bark.**
Surely, they meow, and their meow can be quite loud sometimes However, even if your cat’s meow might annoy the crap out of you, your neighbours at least can have a good night’s sleep. Even the loudest meow is no match for a dog’s bark. And there even is a scientific explanation for this: low-frequency sounds travel further than high frequency ones and are also better at traveling through solids.
**4. Cats don’t need to be taken outside to do their business.**
Sure, taking your dog outside can be quite pleasing, but it can also be quite a burden, especially when it’s pouring rain outside or when it’s freezing cold or if you’re just very very busy. By contrast, all cats need are clean litter boxes.
**5. They make purr-fect sleeping pals.**
Well, only after they grow up, of course, because let’s be honest, kittens are completely crazy. And what makes them so great at sleeping with you is their size, but also their preference for sleeping on their humans.
**6. They can play by themselves.**
Even if I don’t advise you to get a cat and just completely forget about her playing needs, sometimes it’s understandable if you’re not in the mood to play with your kitty, especially if you’re feeling awful or if you just don’t have the time. But rest assured, if your cat has plenty of toys, she or he is perfectly capable of self-entertainment. Dogs, on the other hand, need you to play with them, so make sure you’ll always be available to do this if you want a dog.
**7. They live longer than dogs.**
This is, at least in my opinion, the biggest one. A dog’s lifespan is anywhere between 10 to 13 years, smaller dogs living longer than bigger ones. Cats win this chapter, as their average lifespan is 15 years, while cats living up 20 years are very common too. That’s great news because it means more time spent with your pet before saying goodbye. You might even grow old with your cat!
**9. They are more independent than dogs by nature.**
Even if this is generally deemed as a negative, I find it’s quite the opposite. Now, this doesn’t mean cats don’t love their humans, they are just better at coping when owners leave for a long workday, or when their owners leave for vacation. By being more independent, they are less likely to develop separation anxiety. As a result, they don’t become destructive when their parents leave and they don’t suffer, as poor dogs do.
**10. They purr.**
I mean really, who doesn’t love the soothing sound cats make when cuddling? Nothing can beat that. I may be biased about this, of course, but purring has an extraordinary trait. Cat purring has been shown to fall between 25Hz and 140 Hz. The same frequency has been shown to aid in the healing of broken bones, joint and tendon repair, and wound healing.
Their purr might actually help you heal faster. It also provides stress relief, due to its calming nature. Purring releases endorphins in cats, and it can do the same thing in humans. Nevertheless, I can speak from experience that cats curling up in your lap and purring are instant stress relievers.

**1. Write more**
When it comes to ways to improve writing, I’m sure you've all heard you just need to write more but most authors take that to mean that you just need to get behind the keyboard and knock out more book. I mean the more you type the better you get. Makes sense.
Unfortunately, that's not completely true because **if you practice wrong it'll just make you more wrong**. Yes, writing more is a great way for improving your writing but only if you're intentional about what you write. Don't just write another book write another scene. Tweaking a scene that you've already written could make what you have written to be better described.
Changing the lighting in the room, the time of year or perhaps the weather outside can affect that same scene.
There are many times when I’ll take a first draft that I’ve written and rewrite portions of it from a completely different point of view just to help me see if there's any way, I could improve the writing. Being intentional about what you write can help you get better at writing.
**2. Read more**
This is another writing tip that I’m sure you've heard more times than you want to count. While many writers will say read more when it comes to how to improve writing, they're a bit divisive when it comes to what to read. Some will say read books in your genre while others advise that you read books
Yes, you want to read books in your genre to see what the common tropes are as well as what scenes, scenarios, and dialogue that your potential audience is used to reading. That said, you must be careful if you only read in your genre.
**There are two major consequences you could run into-** number one you could end up losing interest in the genre, **and the other issue** that can arise is that you could find yourself unintentionally mimicking other authors. While obviously you want to get better at writing, you don't want to do it at the detriment of losing who you are and losing your own voice. Therefore, I also read other genres.
Seeing how other authors in other niches handle similar situation, themes and dialogues can help equip you with an arsenal of techniques and approaches that you may have never previously thought of. For example, something as simple as a conversation between friends may be handled completely different in a romantic comedy versus a romance novel and even a space opera**. So, when you're reading a book, if you run across a scene or a passage that makes you feel something, highlight it and then go back later and analyse what they did to make you feel that way**. As it the word choices, their pacing, and their dialogue that makes you feel that way.
**3. Know your weakness**
Another way that you can work on improving your writing is to know your weaknesses. When you're self-editing, what are some of the common mistakes that you find, what are some of the common mistakes that your editor points out when they're reviewing your work, what issues have your readers found? I know it's hard to admit our faults but when we finally come clean at least to ourselves with what areas of opportunities we have, then we can better set up a game plan on how to improve your writing.
Some issues you may run into are passive voice, using meaningless words. Unrealistic dialogue pacing, telling verse showing character building and so on. I could go on and on. Most of the time I can take the word that out of a sentence and it doesn't even affect the sentence structure at all. Once we acknowledge where we need to improve our writing, then we can search up resources to help overcome those hurdles.
**4. Worry less about your word count**
I hate to break it to you, but your readers don't care about how many words are in your story. I doubt they're picking up your book and counting the content, **No**. They're reading the content they care about, the content of your story and not the number of words.
Now don't get me wrong, I’m not saying that you can create a 200-page novel with 10,000 words and not get some negative reviews on it. What I am saying is that focusing on the word count and not the story is a great way for you to end up cramming in unnecessary words just to meet some arbitrary pre-assigned word count.
On the other hand, adjusting your sentence or paragraph length based on a scene is completely fine. Fast-paced action scenes should have short sharp sentences to help depict that sense of urgency. Conversely, you can build up suspense in a scary scene by making your sentences longer and more drawn out
**5. Get rid of filler words**
Filler words are those words that take your reader out of the immersiveness of your story and make them more of an observer. I’m not talking about point of view- first person versus third person, that's not what I’m talking about. I'm talking about your actual word choices.
When you make your reader instead of experiencing something in the story themselves, you place them next to the character and you make them more of an observer. For example, in the sentence “**she heard a dog bark and it startled her**”, you're not witnessing anything, there's no emotion evoked from that sentence. A better way to write this would be “**the barking next door startled her**”.
It's written in the same point of view and even in the same tense but it's more active, you're hearing the barking. I don't need to say who heard it because the fact that she was startled makes it clear that she's the one that heard it. I don't even need to mention the dog because we all know what animal it is. Just by me saying **the barking**, we know it's a dog.
Removing filler words is a quick and easy way to improve your writing and better the reading experience for your audience.

**Marriage customs**
First school leaving certificate was all Kakina acquired. Kakina began to buy bowls of all sorts. They would be taken along with her to the bridegroom's house on the wedding day. Bowls were believed to be the keys to the bride's wealth. So the number of bowls revealed how rich the parents of the bride were. I gave her some money. I had to play the role of a father even though she was older than I. This was because our elder brother, Dinze, was not around.
We invited a local musician to perform on the occasion. Her own age-mates formed a dance group to grace the remarkable day. Nubai was such a good musician, a solo singer that manned six drums of various sizes. He led the vocal and chorus alike. I danced and sprayed some coins on my mother, my sister and her husband, Issa, and Nubai the musician.
**Musician gone missing**
Kakina left for her husband's house. She no more belonged to the Azezoni family. Two weeks after the ceremony. a catastrophe struck the episode of which would never be forgotten in our land. Nubai, the musician was declared missing. After fruitless efforts to locate him, his people gave up. Many medicine-men that were consulted certified him dead, but one old herbalist proclaimed that he was lost into the spirit-world, but that he would come back.
Twenty-four months lapsed yet there was no trace of Nubai. But one hot afternoon, a soprano voice was heard at the back of the kitchen where domestic birds were kept. It was Nubai. Nobody could go near him. After much hesitation, he narrated his ordeal and encounter with the supernatural beings in the forests. He was blessed with amazing tunes for songs of good life and some philosophical songs. But he lost his left eye to the bargain. His fame spread wide, and he became our village's celebrity.
He went to perform at a funeral ceremony at Lokoja. (Lokoja being the only big city around) and then left there to honour an invitation to perform for an Alhaji at Kuru. He sang that the lost Nubai had reincarnated from the spirit world. On his way back home, he mysteriously disappeared again. His people organized a search party but all to no avail till date.
**Forced marriage**
My mother tried to talk me into marrying a girl of her choice. She would not listen to my excuses of a virile marriage through maturity. To her, I was mature enough and she needed grandchildren from me. Just then, Adi, Kakina left for her husband's house.
**Polluted culture**
My immediate younger brother was said to have impregnated Bikwoi, a Gu'ri girl. The girl's parents told my mother to cough out thirty pounds to take care of the girl, but the child of the act would belong to the girl's father. They too would not want to inter-marry with our people.
I gave some money to mother to complete the demanded sum and everything was settled. Our people cursed Adi for having polluted our culture - the sacred seal he had broken by be friending a girl of another tribe.
**Another culture**
Keke, whom I rescued in our primary school days turned to become a prosperous farmer. He wanted to bade farewell to bachelorhood, and being a good friend of his, I was invited. My mother declined to my going just because Keke was a Ba'a man. My mates too supported my mother's idea. But I turned deaf cars to their utterances. It was not in accordance with the way we celebrated our own marriage.
Some hefty men were paid to do the arduous task. They were to carry the bride shoulder-high and take her to the groom's house. She had to escape thrice, but when she was being carried for the fourth time, she would then stay in the groom's house while her belongings would be taken to her by her friends.
**Entertainment**
Drinks of all sorts were served round, Guinea-corn drink (Burukutu), palm-wine, Ogogoro-balasa known also a Kinkana-a locally brewed gin. I was tempted to sip some quantity of palm-wine. It was my first contact with intoxicants. The elderly men threw aside the sweet wine which they said was for females and young men and opted for the throat-burning gin. I gave some money to both the bride and the groom. Keke thanked me and promised to do better at my own marriage which I had no plan for a week after my return from Keke.
**Political drama**
The local election took place amidst confusion, tribalism and animosity. By then we had no councillors, no chairman, and the caretaker committee was no more. The result of the election came out with Yarowoto, a Ba'a man wining the local government's chairmanship. Dandi won a seat at the hierarchical apex of the education department. The portfolio of councillor for works and housing went to Shaban our own man. My brother lost the seat to Sheldu as assistant Chairman.
My people were not happy. They promised to intimate Hon. Abu about the matter, since he was the majority leader In the House of Assembly. My people had forgotten the times Abu ate gari and groundnut-cakes for supper, times that our village's **witches toyed with his life**. He too was only out to fend for his household and no more. His elder brother who was made the Olmege the district head suffered many accusations and was haunted by the people just because he allowed strangers to mix freely with our people.

**1. Replace social media with books**
The first thing that you need to do is you need to replace social media with books. Studies have shown that the more you scroll through Facebook, Instagram and blah blah, the more you look at what your friends are doing, their great life their luxury beautiful perfect lifestyle and take a look at yourself and you’d begin to feel like “I'm here working a nine-to-five job and I’m stuck in a traffic jam”. Unless your whole entire timeline is just all motivational quotes, then that’s an exception.
**2. Listening to rain drops**
Some scientists have found that listening to ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) improves concentration, helps ease depression symptoms. Also, swim for at least 30 minutes a day because that's just something therapeutic about being in the water. You just can hear anything, it's like an escape. But remember to swim outdoors because when you're exposed to sunlight it can help ease the symptoms of depression.
**3. Stop eating fried food**
Studies have shown that the more French fries, chicken, chips and so on that you eat, the worse your depression would become. The worse your anxiety will become. I know that when you're depressed you just want to eat something. But let me tell you that you only feel good for the thirty minutes that you spend eating it, and you spend the rest of the three days feeling like shit.
**4. Create an exciting goal to work towards**
I hear a lot of people say “I hate waking up to my job every single day”. Well then, you can wake up to working on your side hustle. That's gonna eventually have you create a job when you come home from work at night.
Now I know that for people with depression it's very hard for you to get back to work again even to work on anything. It's very hard because all you want to do is just lock yourself in a room, watch videos the whole day, watch anime the whole day and blah blah. Eventually you've got to get off it, and the first step to getting out of that is to set a very exciting goal.
If you feel like there’s too much work today, then just write down that one exciting goal onto a piece of paper and that's it. The rest of the day just gonna do whatever you want. Just write that one exciting goal and take small steps, one at a time.
**5. Don't be afraid to seek therapy**
Go for counselling, go join a community support group, and don't ever feel embarrassed to seek therapy and counselling. There are a lot of free counselling services regardless of your region.
I know a lot people tell you things like just snap out of it, just be positive, just be grateful because everybody has problems. I've been told a lot of those crap many times and it wasn’t helping.
Just understand that you're not weak. The pressure is just like having high blood pressure, you’re your blood pressure is high, something internally is not balanced, an imbalance of chemicals in your brain which you can't control, which you can't snap off.
To those people who like to tell the depressed to just snap out of it, it's like you're going to a person with high blood pressure and then telling them to just snap out of their high blood pressure. They say these things because they haven’t been depressed.
To the depressed, be willing to join the community support group so that you won't feel that you're alone. The most important thing is talk to somebody. It's gonna help you a lot.

In 1956, American truck driver Malcolm MacLean discovered a way to ship goods at a much more cost-efficient price. He invented and patented the ISO shipping container. The container is 12 meters long, it's incredibly durable and it's fitted with a twist lock system which allows them to stack.
Before 1956, shipping containers were not standardized, and companies would generally use their own containers to ship goods. This was problematic because companies could not load goods in a space efficient way, transferring shipments between boats trains and trucks was also a huge headache since certain containers were not compatible with other vehicles.
Malcolm's inventions solve all these problems, and just a few years later the ISO shipping container became the industry standard. Companies can now stack multiple containers and seamlessly transfer shipments between multiple transportation methods. This significantly reduced the cost of shipping and jump-started international trade. Producing nations like China began to flourish and companies around the world could now profitably reach faraway markets. "Enough talk. Let's have some fun", Tony said and led them to the dining from.
"Cheers! They all said with cups raised and colliding against one another.
“This is the best beer I've had in my life”, Tulip said with confidence. “Wait... you drink beer?”, Charles asked. "I'd have asked you to join me but you're still underage. Ha-ha", Tulip said sarcastically and continued, "If you were older, we’d drink together".
"Yeah. Whatever”.
“Excuse me, I'd be back shortly", Charles said and walked out of the dining room into the passageway. Mayora locked at him till he shut the passage door behind him.
She looked Worried.
Charles walked out of his room a few minutes later into the passageway. He was shocked to see Mayora standing right there.
"What are you doing. here," he asked with shock on his face. "Did you know the was going to happen? Mayora asked. "How do you expect me to know. I can't read minds you flat face. Dad just told me today and kaboom you arrived”, Charles said and rolled his eyes.
"I heard Mr. Tony has a son my age, but I didn't expect… ",
"So, what are you. going to do about it?", Charles asked with sincerity. "I don't know. I don't think I’m gonna do anything about it. I've Supported my mom from the beginning, and I don't have to change my mind now for Some stupid reason. I’ve never seen mom so happy since my dad left. But since she met your dad, she has been happier and I'm not going to take it away from her", Mayora said and took a deep breath with her holds folded and her back against the wall.
“Whatever you decide is up to you", she said and walked out of the passage into the sitting room. Charles stood there speechless as he was still trying to process everything that was happening.

**1. The Philippines is divided into three divisions**
Here’s the wild bit- there are over 7,641 islands. The islands are surrounded by four seas. From the east, there’s the Philippine Sea. The south has the Celebes Sea. The west has the Sulu Sea, and the West Philippine Sea is located at the Philippines’ northwest. The 7,641 islands make the Philippines the largest archipelago in the world.
There originally used to be only 7,107 islands, which isn’t something to shrug at either, but the 534 islands were added recently in 2017. And get this: 2,000 of the islands are inhabited. If you ever ambitiously decided to visit all the islands, it would take nearly 21 years to see all of them!

It’s been around for centuries in Greece, Egypt, and China, but the term “yo-yo” was coined by Pedro Flores, who was a Filipino immigrant living in the U.S. When he was young, he used to make a wooden version of the toy, and in the 1920s, he took his version of the toy to the U.S., which was adapted into the yo-yo we know now. Flores then became the first person to mass-produce “yo-yos'' from his factory in California.

Google Earth is a well-known computer program that allows to visualize the multiple topography of the terrestrial surface based on satellite photographs. That is, google collects satellite photos and collects them to form a large planisphere. Thanks to this application from Google, we can see the world map in detail since there is practically a record of everyone so you can see the roof of any house.
In its latest version it was allowed to see some regions of the surface of the Moon and mass. In this article, we will see some of the most important scientific discoveries that were possible thanks to Google Earth.
**5. fossil remains of mammals**
Fossil remains of mammals were found in Africa; this discovery was made thanks to sanitary Masons who worked with limestone from Egypt. They found in one of them what appear to be a large skeleton.
Based on this finding, scientists from the university of Michigan decided to investigate further they explored Egypt with Google Earth, so they discovered the remains of ancient unknown things which resulted to be a site replete with fossils of small mammals of about 20 million years old. These fossils can contain essential information about ancient animal migrations between Africa and Asia
**4. The Google Forest**
known Mount Mambo, located in the north of Mozambique. This forest was known by the local inhabitants, but it was not registered in the maps, nor was it known to scientists.
After scanning the area with Google Earth scientists saw that it is a very special area in the field. Their surprise was capitalized when they discovered giant trees of about 45 metres high. They also found a new species of animals and plants as small and little oases of new knowledge.
**3. Egyptian pyramid**
The Nile Valley apparently reserves a fascinating discovery for a technologist. Thanks to Google Earth two separated structures were located for about 130 kilometres from each other.
In the beginning there were great opponents to this theory but the studies in the field and the recent renovations of old map gave truth to this relevant discovery.
**2. Peruvian Geoglyphs**
Important discoveries have also been made in the American continent thanks to Google Earth. This is the case of Peru where geographical fascinators were found with effigies in the form of animals that could be up to 1,400 years old.
There were discovered in 2012 by researchers at the University of Missouri thanks to google earth!
**1. Remains of human ancestors**
Studying with Google Earth in a southern area of South Africa, a scientist named Evert found around 500 sites which by the characteristics were potential sites of ancient human remains in 2008.
On visiting one of these sites identified through the program, he discovered the fossils of a woman and a child. These fossils were around two million years old.
Studies have shown very particular characteristics in these remains which has led to think that it could be a new species of humanoid that would be between the Australopithecus and Homo Habilis.

The car was first unveiled in the 2013 Qatar motor show and only seven units have been produced of this car until now which speaks of its exoticism and the price tag of a staggering 3.4 million dollars that comes with it.
Talking about its features- from the outside, its powerful led headlights encrusted with diamond, a highly angular design on a carbon fibre body and distinctively styled rear spoiler stand out immediately. A rear-mounted 780 horsepower engine powers the car and can produce an acceleration up to an incredible 245 miles per hour. This power is channelled to the rear wheels through a sequential six-speed manual gear system or a dual clutch seven-speed PDK transmission.
It has been claimed to achieve an acceleration rate of 2.8 seconds for zero to 100 kilometres an hour which is impressive. The dashboard is finished with carbon fibre linings and comes with every amenity you can think of plus a holographic control system.
**4. Pagani Huayra BC Roadster ($3.5 million)**
Named after the Quechua god of wind Huayra Tata, this car is manufactured by an Italian sports car company Pagani and costs a whopping 3.5 million dollars. It is a mid-engine sports car succeeding the company's previous topper the Zonda. After being officially unveiled for the first time in 2011, the company has capped its production to only 100 units.
Fitted with a 6.0 litre twin turbocharged v12 engine manufactured by a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz called Mercedes-AMG which gives a power output of 720 horsepower which is channelled to the wheels through a classic 7-speed sequential automatic gearbox and a single disc clutch. The Huayra has a maximum speed of 238 miles per hour and provides an acceleration rate of 2.8 seconds for zero to 100 kilometres per hour at best.
Its 21-inch alloy rimmed wheels manufactured by Pirelli tires are capable of withstanding 1.66Gs of lateral acceleration. The inner assembly is covered with a carbon titanium body featuring aerodynamic grooves and curves plus its distinguishing active aerodynamic mechanism allows its height from the ground to be manually adjusted at the front. A large winged spoiler at the rear finishes the look.
**3. Bugatti Chiron PUR Sport ($3.6 million)**
Launched in March 2020, Chiron PUR sport is manufactured by a leading French automobile company Bugatti and has been pronounced as the purest Bugatti ever. It is a limited-edition car with its production limited to 60 units only. it is fundamentally an improvement on previous Chiron models and features an easy straightforward handling through improved aerodynamics.
Looking inside- it has been fitted with the Bugatti w16 engine capable of delivering a power equivalent of 1500 horsepower to a 7-speed automatic transmission system which enables a maximum speed of 220 miles per hour and an acceleration rate of 2.3 seconds for a 0 to 100 kilometres per hour. It's revised much stronger chassis set up with stiffer springs and dampers carbon blade magnesium wheels and Michelin sport cup 2R tires are capable of withstanding 1.6Gs of lateral acceleration as well.

Sian, the Balinese word for lightning captures the true spirit of this masterpiece created by an Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini. "How was it, how did it feel?", I asked Mayora as we walked out of the compound into the street. I felt good but I needed to know how she felt.
"I don't know. It was like Sugar all over me and a bit of sourness”, she said with a creepy smile and continued. "I feel the same and different at the same time. If we meet again, we're nothing but strangers", she said coldly and walked into the street while I stood there short of words!
"I See why you're so excited", Peter said while smiling in a creepy way. "Yeah, that's it but at the same time I feel sceptical about it”, Charles said with a gloomy expression on his face.
“You're one lucky boy. I'd kill to be you right now”, Peter said as he stretched out his arms and placed them on Charles shoulder.
"It's not like that. I... I feel good but at the same time feel like I shouldn't have lost my virginity to a stranger. I have someone I like, and I was hoping…”. "Miss Tulip you mean?", Peter responded with a smirk and walked across the room to the bookshelf. Peter then continued, "some love interests are unrealistic. She's your teacher, she’d be interested in someone older and would probably have a boyfriend already.
"I know but...”
"But what?"
“I don't know. I’m so confused right now.
**Next day at school!**
“Where's Phillip and Jacob when I need them? I need to tell them what happened yesterday. We’re meant to meet here today after closing hour", Charles thought to himself as he brings out a piece of Jotter and writes something in it.
“Hey, I didn’t expect you'd be here", said miss Tulip as she walked towards Charles. She continued. "I was hoping to have some private time here Mr. Charles".
“Why do you keep calling one that? I’m your student”, Charles retorted back. Come on don’t take life too serious and just flow with it”, she said and moved closer to Charles. "Why don't you show me what you're writing the said and stretched her hands as if to collect the sheets.
Charles Jumped backwards with super speed. “No. No. You can't, I’m not through yet?"
“But you said I’d read it when next I asked"
“Yeah, I did but I still don't feel confident to let anyone see it".
"Mr Charles the liar. I should have read it when the wind blew it all over the place last time. I returned it out of trust", Tulip said.
“Thanks for trusting me but…
"It's not like it's important to me. Never mind” Tulip said as she walked towards the chain link fence. She put her hands through the fence and grasped it tightly while looking at the sky.
"How time flies”, she said in a melodramatic tone. “It's already been a year since I got to this school and things have changed ever since”.
Charles turned towards her looking bothered. "Did something happen? If you don't mind, could you tell me what is”, Charles said.
"Is that how you hit on lades? You’d have to do better " Tulip said with a sudden smile on her face. She moved towards Charles and Scattered his hair.
"I'm not interested in children, so your pickup line doesn't matter. But a cute boy like you may catch my interest”, she said and walked away slowly.
“Don't let it get to you, I'm just kidding. And don't be late for class tomorrow or I’d scold you without mercy”, she said as she turned around and winked towards Charles.
Charles stared at her butt which pushed against her brown skirt as she walked and placed both hands on his head. "I'm so dead".
"Dad, I'm home”, Charles said as he walked into the sitting room. His dad was sitting by the computer table with his smartphone on his left ear which he held with his left hands. He was laughing over the phone.
“Welcome son", he said and continued laughing while Charles walked across the sitting room to the passageway, and into his room. He drops his bag on the table and jumps unto his bed with his chest facing the ceiling. He takes a walk down memory lane with Tulip on his mind. He had seen her the previous week at the Tennis Lawn. Her hands were between the chain-link fence as usual and was looking into space when Charles walked up behind her.
She turned around as soon as she heard footsteps approaching. “What are you doing here alone…?", He had not finished completed his statement when Tulip turned around. Tears were dropping from her cheeks. “Oh gosh. Gosh! I'm sorry you had to see me like this”, she said and wiped the tears off her face.
"What happened miss Tulip, why are your crying?”
“Yesterday was...”, she stops suddenly and continued "You don't have to know. Children like you wouldn't understand”, she said harshly.
You won’t even let me listen first before deciding? It's not good to keep things in. It's okay to talk about it, you'd feel better I assure you", Charles responded.’
"You're a sweet boy Charles, but grownups have to deal with things in a matured way and this includes keeping things to themselves", Tulip responded.
“You treat me like a kid every time. It's not fair”, Charles said angrily. “You may be older than me but you don’t have to keep doing this”, he said and took a deep breath. “What about…”
Tulips phone rings and interrupts what he was about to say. “Never mind”, he said and walked away angrily.
He was still lost in thoughts when his dad opened the door.
"Charles, Charles, Charles...”, his dad calls him several times until he snapped put of memory lane.
“Why do you have to come in without knocking every time", he. Said rudely. “Looks like you're beginning to grow wings”. His dad said firmly as he walks into his room.
"I'm sorry, dad”, Charles responded.
His dad sits beside him on the bed and begins. “There’s something I've always wanted to tell you. It May seem Sudden but... there's no other way to say it. I'm considering getting remarried”.
Charles had a blank expression on his face on hearing those words.
"You know it's been years since your mom died. I know this may be sudden but......”.
Charles cuts in. It's been ten years already Dad, It's no problem as long as you’re happy”, he said and lay down on his bed.
"The thing is they are coming right now. They are already on their way and will be here anytime soon. "Dad!!! "So soon", Charles sard with his mouth wide open. "Sad, you should have told me earlier.
"I know I'm Sorry but..." "Don't Worry Dad... It's okay. “I look rough. I still got my uniform on. I'm so not prepared for this”, Charles freaked out.
“Come on, let's get gotta prepared”, his dad said.
"Ding Ding!" the doorbell rang before they could finish their conversation.
"That should be them. come on let's go", his dad said.
"No. You go on ahead - I'd have to change my clothing. I'd join you", Charles replied.
His dad ran out of the room into the passageway and bolted down to the sitting room while running across and almost tripped. He adjusted his clothes, fixed his eyeglasses properly and took a deep breath before opening the door.
"Hello!", he said as he opened the door with a large smile on his face. Laurel was standing right there with her two daughters on each side. He moved towards her and hugged her tightly. "Thanks for inviting us over she said with a smile. "Good afternoon, sir" said her daughters with the older daughter looking up with a smile while the younger looked down in shyness.
"Please come in, he said as he collected Maurice's handbag and held her hands. She was a beautiful woman in her mid-forties. She had blue eyeballs and blonde hair which complimented the wrinkles on her face. Her daughters followed behind her as they walked in. Charles froze as he walked out of the passageway into the sitting room. Maurice’s' daughters were shocked as well and froze on seeing Charles.

Nature is breath taking. With exactly the right conditions, it can create some of the wildest weather that looks straight out of sci-fi in this list I will be showing you five of the weirdest weather occurrences in the world.
**5. Non-aqueous rain**

For centuries, there have been stories of raining animals, quite literally fish falling from the sky. Now, although extremely rare, this is a real thing. I
in Honduras, there is a yearly weather occurrence called Lluvia de pesos where fish fall from the sky. Some believe this to be a blessing from God providing food for the poor. Although no one knows exactly how it occurs, the most common explanation is that water sprouts which are basically tornadoes on water vacuum up the fish from the sea and throw them on land.
Other explanations are that the fish never actually fall from the sky, instead they are wash up on land from heavy rainfall.
**4. Firenado**

This rare extreme weather occurrence is basically a tornado made from fire. As if tornadoes weren't scary and deadly enough, nature is always going that one bit further.
These hell tornadoes occur when trees, a hillside or flames force air to shift against competing air temperatures and speeds. While some died out pretty quickly others can travel and keep getting worse if the heat is able to stay afloat.
One of the deadliest examples of a firenado happened in 1923 in Japan. In the aftermath of a massive 7.9 earthquake, survivors of the disaster gathered together in an open space but a massive firenado occurred and swept through killing thousands.
**3. Brinicle**

This weather occurrence is amazing to look at but extremely dangerous if you were to touch it. The brinicle is caused by cold sinking brine. This happens when heat flows from the warmer sea up to the cold air forming new ice from the bottom. Since the brine water is more dense and colder than the rest of the sea surrounding it, it sinks and freezes creating this amazing spectacle.
When a brinicle hits the seabed, it leaves a deadly web of ice that freezes anything that it comes into contact with including sea urchins and starfish.
**2. Mammatus clouds**

Amazing to look at, very rare and completely unexplained. It looks like hundreds of white balloons floating in the sky, and if I didn't know any better, I would assume it was photoshopped.
Scientists don't know how they form but have several theories it could be due to a cooling of a part of a cloud which causes it to drop down an unstable cloud where cloudy air doesn't mix fully with the dry air or possibly gravity waves which move part of the cloud away.

If you saw one of these roll clouds in the distance you'd probably get up and run it does look like a giant tsunami about to consume the land.
However, what you should do is pull out your camera and take pictures. These clouds are probably one of the coolest looking weather occurrences and are usually formed by cold wet air flowing out to sea breezes or cold fronts and they seem to rotate around the horizontal axis.
If you like to see one in real life, they regularly appear around October in Queensland Australia thanks to the sea breezes that develop over to Cape York Peninsula.

There are thousands of cities in the world, each with its own culture customs and traditions and they are very different from each other. While some are very peaceful, some are considered extremely dangerous and considered off limits to tourists. This article brings to you five of the most dangerous cities in the world.
**5. Los Cabos, Mexico**

This city is on the list of the most dangerous cities in the world in 2017 and 2018. Considering that it is a beautiful coastal city with unique entertainment, it has suffered strange events over the years. The population of this city reaches three hundred thousand (300,000) people and in last year, there were one hundred and eleven (111) homicides per a hundred thousand people most of which were in the headlines of newspapers and news.
Apart from homicides, drug trafficking is free in this city they do not target tourists, but many tourists have been killed.

I can feel the darkness in me trying to come through
I can feel the devil doing the knock knock
I hear massive footsteps in the distance
The devil and his minions coming for your soul
I say checkmate- it's your soul not mine
The darkness pushes through and "yes", pls come in
please but let him be in control
And it happened
It was accompanied by a fever and a rage
The feeling of powerlessness that makes good men cruel
Don't quote me- I'm not a good man, I'm simply a victim of circumstance, a messed up man, a product of unending nightmares and tragic incidents.
The experience doesn't kill you- it changes you.
Makes you bitter
Makes you go crazy
Makes you see yourself as above all others
Makes you see things differently and makes you... "you".
In the end, I am nothing but a broken boy, a victim of circumstance and another of nature's experiment in the long line of children having to go through pain from their childhood.
I appreciate this pain as it made me what I am today, made me critical, firm, affirmative, logical and analytical.
Made me devoid of irrelevant emotions
Made me stop being a cry-baby
And made me... "me"
It made me a man of vision, a man of focus, a man that doesn't stop until he attains his goal.
I don't stop until I hit my mark, until I buck the status quo and say to myself checkmate!
Isn't it ironic how life changes you and makes you a better version of who you would have been if a tragic coincidence didn't take place?
I'd say those incidents are designed to build you, make you, elevate you, and allow you grow into whatever it is that you choose for yourself.
Oh yes, the pain exists but can you handle it?- the greater question.
I sometimes marvel at the wonders of nature and how it allows everything fall into place without our consent.
Thus making me realise that life is nothing but a program which we're stuck in, An unending loop of nothingness and whatchamacallit!
I'm not here to preach or tell you about life and it's meaninglessness, I'm simply here to say that life is transient, life is fleeting, life is short.
Enjoy it while you can for tomorrow you may no longer be here but six feet below, with your spirit transcending into higher frames of existence.
Heaven or hell- I'd rather not talk about this as I'm not a firm believer of the underworld.
They say the devil comes from the ground, but I'd say he comes from the sky above us!

It was a Sunday evening, in the month of August, year 2015. A pre-marriage testimony evening was being held. More like a stylish exposé/interview for the 'soon to be' couple. This exposé occurs on the weekend before the wedding and the youths would have the opportunity to ask the 'soon to be' couples relevant questions including sensitive questions questions that needs to be answered. Plus fun. Unfortunately, fun took over ninety percent of the event and the rest was history.
The time for questions and answers came. You'd have to write on paper and signal to the officials to come for your question, after which it will be read out loud and the couples will answer appropriately. It was full of yada yada and blah blah of irrelevant questions.. "how did you meet", "what was the catch phrase", "punch line", "pick up line", "how many times did she say no" and blah blah…
These questions were read out loud by the organisers while the couple did the needful. Now I wrote on paper "if your spouse was caught in a compromising position or your spouse does what you wouldn't do.. whatever the case may be.. I'd rather not mention it, what would be your reaction?", and sent this question across.
The organiser- female, looked at the question and shook her head like it was too much for her to comprehend. She folded the sheet of paper and kaboom.. it was ignored.
"Hell no".. I was pissed. I concluded it was a gathering of children and felt like I had wasted my time, or perhaps the organisers had a negative IQ and weren't ready for realistic questions as such.
The organisers' name- I wouldn't mention but will caller her Malorie for the purpose of this illustration. My check mate came soon enough.
**Fast forward to 2017!**
Malorie's wedding was at hand, and her testimony evening came up. I attended coincidentally.. as I was simply there while it happened.
Long story short she got married 2017 and come 2019, she got divorced- Checkmate!
That's what you get for ignoring necessary questions before marriage.
I laughed so hard when I heard the news and told myself checkmate! I don't care whatever may have happened.. Divorce is Divorce. Checkmate is Checkmate!
**Case 2**
I imitated his mom's dance move during her birthday without any intent to mock. We were friends (observe the past tense for we are no longer friends), but he went ahead to disrespect me. Gosh! I felt insulted and went straight to the restroom for some alone-time. I sat on the toilet seat and memories of my mom flashed before my eyes.. she had died 2017, while Dad.. 2011. He was doing the "mommy thing" on someone that didn't have a "mommy". This was January 2021. Sorry, yours is coming.
**Fast forward to August of the same year**. He called me and told me his dad was dead.. "Checkmate!", I thought.
One and a half months later- he almost died of an asthma attack.. He ran out of inhaler and passed out by 4am. He woke up at the hospital by 8am with hospital fluids and pipes all over him. He got lucky someone was there to rescue him.
I'm still waiting for the announcement of his mom's.... you know what!

"Cheers!", we all said with our glass cups raised and colliding one against another. We were at the private corner of a restaurant across my school. The venue was chosen by a strange girl who I later knew to be Maurice.
Jacob, Philip, and I sat at one side of the table while three pretty girls sat at the opposite end. "I guess the saying is true. Birds of a feather flocks together”, Jacob said with a large smile on his face while looking at the girl opposite him.
"Your friends are just as cute as you are". "We're not as cute as you thin”, she said with a blush on her face and continued. "There's something called make-over". "Stop being modest. You girls are just perfect, Phillip said.
Thank you!!!", the girls chorused in angelic voices. "Let's begin with introduction. after you ma'am”, Phillip said. "No 'Ma'am’ please, we're all friends here, the girl sitting opposite Phillip responded. "My name is Maurice, the leader of this club and a student of Thames high school. It's nice to meet you all",
"I'm Flora, also a student at Thames. I'm looking forward to having some fun", the girl opposite Phillip said.
There was an awkward silence afterwards. The girl opposite me wasn't saying anything. "Come on, it's your turn", Flora said while tapping her shoulder gently. She raised her head to look at me and faced gown as soon as our eyes met.
"I'm Mayora She said calmly and without enthusiasm - "shouldn’t you be excited about this?”, Maurice asked. “I guess I am", Mayora responded calmly. “She's the shy type. Don't worry, she’s fun to be with", Maurice said and drank from her glass.
"Excuse me. I'd be back shortly, Mayora said and walked out of the room into the passageway. “Hey Charles, I'd suggest you go after her, Maurice said, and the guys supported.
"But why I", I asked as I didn't understand what was going on. "She's shy and wouldn't want to say certain things before everyone", Maurice explained.
I hesitated at first and finally went for her a few seconds later. I walked out the door into the passageway and walked straight down.
Mayora was standing right there by the vending machine. It looked like she was talking to the beverage can as she bent over to pick it up. I walked up to her quickly and started a Conversation.
"Hey Mayora". "Hey… ". "What are you doing here", I asked. You seem like you're in a bad mood and was hoping we could talk privately, I said while scratching my head. "Tell me, aren't you having fun?". "I'm just not used to things like this. It all feels… strange. I simply wanna try something different is all", Maya said calmly with a blunt expression.
"We're not so different Mayora. I used to be the shy type too until recently when I miraculously snapped out of it", I said. "A miracle you say. There's no such thing", she retorted.
"I know. I know. My point is...". "I get your point. Charles, how about we take a walk together", she said while looking at me with the side of her eyes.
"Uhm... okay". He walked out of the restaurant and went down into several streets for about five minutes before getting to unfamiliar destination. " we're here”, she said with a smile. "Where's here? I asked curiously as the environment wasn't familiar.
"It's my house. Come on, let's go in", she said and pulled me by my lept hand, "But what about your parents, wouldn't we get into trouble? What about your friends of the bar?", I asked.
"You worry too much Charles. Nobody would be home until late evening and my friends know I'm not a kid", she said and smirked weirdly.
As we walked into the house, she turned towards me and hugged me. "I want you to do me a favour", she said with a serious face. "Is that okay?”, she asked. "Okay Whatever it is", I said.
"Follow me".
We walked across the sitting room into a bedroom- her bedroom. She shut the door behind us and went straight to the bed. "I don't understand. What are we doing here?", I asked as I was confused.
"Will you have s*x with me?
“Wait what?".
"It's okay If you don't want to. You can leave”, she said firmly. "It's not that I don't want to but why me? I asked.
"I want to try it so I can have experience. Everyone talks about it and I'm the only one that gets to keep quiet each time. You know people look down on other people who have no experience. It bothers me”, she said in a melodramatic tone.
"But this kind of thing requires...". She cuts in, " I'm not interested in a relationship. I just want to do this and be done with it".
"But why don't you go for Phillip or Jacob? They are more experienced in this kind of thing", I asked with doubt written all over me as I didn't know what to say anymore.
"I'd feel like they're taking advantage of me since they're already experienced". "Okay I understand and…". “I don't need you to understand, let's do this, she said and began to unbutton her shirt slowly.
