A major reason to this is because health care facilities have begun to get better, and slowly the world has been helping. Africa has a lot of families which are constantly getting bigger and bigger.
The average household in Africa has about five (5) children. Africa has countries with the highest fertility rate that is close to five times the European average which is about 1.6 children born to each woman. In the end, Africa is going through a baby boom.
