I don’t claim to be rich nor will I brag about knowing how to make money. But I can say the little I know works for me and I’m willing to share it with you.

Here are three possible reasons why you are broke.

1. You Lack Knowledge About Money

Truth is, many know they need money but they don’t know anything about money other than spending it because it’s the easiest thing to do.

Well, money is not just paper. Money is a reward for value strategically delivered.

Money = Value.

Many think making money is the only thing they need. That’s true in some way but has 5 sides to it:

Learn = Earn = Save = Invest = Spend.

What is your knowledge about these 5 coordinates of money?

Surprisingly, nobody learns how to spend money to be good at it.

You deserve to have money and I know that too. But somehow your deficiency of knowledge about money makes it uncomfortable around you. Not knowing much about money makes it want to start away from you. The more you know about it, the longer it can stay with you.

More knowledge = More money.

2. You Are Not Hungry

This is not physical hunger per se but the burning desire to do whatever it takes to make money legitimately.

I mean to the ability to trade your last cash for knowledge in any form. The ability to spend your night studying books and acquiring relevant knowledge that will be useful to your future.

Many young people are spoon-fed by their parents for too long. Many hide under the guise that ‘I’m still a student' and they realize they are broke even after leaving school (imagine spending 4 – 6 years to study a course and graduate broke).

Some are doing something already but are shy. Hungry people are never shy to promote what they know to others. Why?

Because they know their value will help others and keeping it to themselves will be harming other people.

Maybe I speak for just myself, I've never met a shy hungry man. Have you met any?

Hunger = Money

No hunger = No Money.

3. You Don’t Know How To Sell

Most people are broke simply because they don’t know how to sell. Selling is simply your ability to communicate your value in a way that people can reward you for it. It’s not only for business people.

We are not short of resources. All you need in this life is in the hands of people. Na you no sabi collect am from them (you don’t know how to collect it from them).

Money doesn’t grow on trees. It is in the hands of people. Selling is a legitimate way to collect it. Shebi you know the money in your account right now is not for you? 😂

Yes, it’s for the taxi driver, the filling station, food vendors, grocery store owners, network providers (MTN, GLO, Airtel), etc.

The money in your account is not yours. It will be collected by others in one way or the other.

The question you should be asking yourself daily is: Who is in possession of my own money?
