Heartbreak sucks. There's no way around it.

If you've ever experienced heartbreak, then you probably know what I'm talking about. This dark cloud hangs over us sometimes, preventing us from moving out of our comfort zone and leading to a feeling of hopelessness. We often try to bury our feelings, but they only get bigger.

Here are 7 ways to get back on track:

1. Change Your Thoughts

When you’re going through a breakup, it’s normal to have negative thoughts about yourself and your partner. But if these thoughts become frequent or intense enough to cause some sort of emotional distress or loss of self-esteem, then they might actually be contributing to your heartache. If this is the case, consider changing your thinking patterns to positive ones. You may even want to set some goals for yourself. Positive thinking can help you stay motivated and focused throughout the process.

2. Take A Break

Sometimes, taking a break from certain things — especially relationships — can make a big difference and really improve your perspective. One thing I know helped me get over heartbreak is focusing on my hobbies. When I was dating, working out became less of a priority than spending time with my friends and family, eating junk food, and watching TV. By making those small changes, I was able to focus on myself and find new opportunities to enjoy life more.

3. Meditate

Meditation, whether it’s deep breathing, yoga, or guided visualization, can help clear your mind and allow you to gain clarity on what you need to do at any given moment. As a result, you may feel more confident, relaxed, and capable of dealing with whatever comes your way.

4. Exercise

Exercise releases endorphins, which help lift our moods and give us a sense of well-being. Also, exercise gives us an outlet to channel our emotions and frustrations away from work situations. When we go through a breakup, we tend to withdraw and isolate ourselves, which makes exercise a great way to take care of your body and keep your mental health in check.

5. Listen To Music

Music is an excellent tool for relieving stress and easing tension. Listening to music that reminds you of happier times will help ease the pain. I know that listening to some genre of music during my relationship breakup helped me connect to happy memories and feelings, and it helped me not dwell on the bad parts of the situation.

6. Make Peace With Your Ex

If you haven’t already done so, now would be a good time to talk to your ex and let them know how much you miss them and love them. Even though they don’t have to respond, it will still mean a lot to you if they open up and share their feelings with you. I think it’s important to acknowledge that you two have been apart for a while, but the reality is that you both still love each other and have feelings for the other. Don’t forget that!

7. Learn From Mistakes

Mistakes are inevitable and can happen no matter how careful we try to be. And while we don’t always learn something positive from them, we should remember that mistakes aren’t the end of the world. We just have to pick ourselves back up and continue moving forward, no matter how hard it gets.

I believe that one of the best ways is learning from various experiences. A heartbreak is an awful experience. It can lead to emotional breakdown, serious one for that matter. So One should learn from past experiences and find new genuine ways of handling relationship and helping His or Her relationship last longer through the formation of new ideas and ways of handling a Crush or a Lover.
