Have you ever thought of using something from the past because you feel this would still fit better. You'd want to rock styles that came out long ago and has passed its prime. It happens to a lot of us, like how we enjoy having same Afro haircut on or playing songs through the old cassette tapes or watching old series that defined our childhood or dressing up with timberland and bootcut pants or maybe playing old and fun games.......maybe because we are buying back some of the fun we sold to adulthood. But our consciousness still goes way back to the 90's because we think it's cool and it made more semce than the present life style, but I do hope that never comes back though.
We love the old because they've proven themselves and we admire how they found a way to protest against time itself when the troubled waves of the years came crashing and beating against their doors....they did not fade. These are test times just the way God made us, there is going to be seasonal changes of our wants or desires but when the voice of God is unheard do we remain there.
Unlike God, people change and so do their ideas but I'm still behind the times and people still ask me "why I still love God?......isn't it obvious God is still timeless, he is still the same God right from the beginning so instead of me complaining all the time I hold onto his promises.
If God had done it before he will do it again, have you ever seen the vinyl tape or a phonograph disc record.....it takes longer minutes to play just a 3 minutes song and people still be vibing and grooving with. God may take some moments, maybe days or weeks to respond to your requests but he is never outdated. When it's time to perform his miracles, he takes that sickness away permanently and when it's time to make wealth he gives in abundance.
Fast forward to the present, just like the vows we make on weddings that cant be broken and even when you try to opt out you still become shaky because you know how deep your love has grown and its effect it will have on you mentally.....just like the way God had planned you and your formation, knowing your future before your arrival "why do you think he will change how he does his things?"
I know this is coming in quite late today, I wanted it to be my sunday topic. In as much as we want to quit or imagine God is still not there for you, please remember his promises. He will change time and space to get to you only if you call out his name.
