Sunday grinding

Perhaps, not just me who is grinding even on Sundays. Not that I am doing the extra job but it's the way of my line of work.

Sundays or weekends are our greener days compared to the weekdays. Most of our clients are coming during the weekends to pamper themselves.

Since we are now following a new time frame we have to adjust also to what is accustomed. In my part, I did the writing of my article after work which is two hours earlier before than now.

But now, those free hours are already consumed by my working time and I find it hard to write while I'm on duty.

It's not easy on my part, especially my kind of job that needs physical effort to do it and no time for me to insert writing.

For example today, a lot of reservations are to be attended to. One client after another and that is continuous until the cut-off time at around 10 pm, a few minutes' rests are enough to refuel our strength before the next client.

I am struggling to compose an article to publish because my free time was already shortened. It's good if I can manage to write while riding the jeep or the motorcycle just like what I am doing right now lol.

Only the difference on my Sunday grinding to the other days is my partner can drive me straight to my work. It's a bit convenient compared to now that I need to squeeze myself inside the jeep with lots of people.

He also waits for me until the cut off and we go home straight after work.

Cloudy Monday hot day

My choice of seat in the jeep was not good, I thought this position of being in between the distorted cushion can give me comfort but as the jeep keeps running my bottom slowly slid outward uufff!

Another lesson to ponder. Not because you're comfortable on the first try is your already at ease in the long run.

Do not base your judgment on the first experience or at first glance, there might be a deeper view of different circumstances and events.

A new way of begging

If you are a fellow Filipino which happens a commuter or a passenger of the jeepney, you might already encounter those people including kids who just hop in and distribute envelopes to the passenger for alms, some are mighty and capable to do work but they choose the easy way which was just begging to earn.

When I first encounter that kind of person, that was when I was a newbie in the city I always give them some of my extra money because I pitied them.

Until one time that a driver scolded one of them saying. " Ang laki ng katawan mo, malakas ka pa sa kalabaw dika maghanap ng trabaho, Kung ano ano pa ang dinadahilan niyo para mamalimos, paulit ulit lang nman ang sinasabi niyo." ( better not to translate guys because I'm not good at it, and it may only distort the meaning).

So, from then on, no matter how they make drama to beg I stop giving any cent anymore. Unless I have a biscuit to share.
