A glimpse of me

I was wandering to the Island of nothingness in terms of a good topic again. I already missed the second of March and I'm afraid I would do the same today. But hopefully, I can publish an article on time before midnight and I am thankful to be able to bump @BCH_LOVER article about those questions to get a glimpse of your fellow trying hard writer here lol. So I collect those questions which I guess apply to my personality. And thru this, you will be able to describe who I am.

Who is your hero?

My hero is my father and mother. Yes, you read it right. Who else would be my hero except for them? I was able to see the world thru them, my mother carries me in her womb for nine months and endures all pains and anxieties during her pregnancy. While my father was busy assisting my mother and providing our needs with all he could do. And when I was born into this world, my parents were my comfort and refuge when times of trial strike me though sometimes in my adolescence stage I learn to keep secrets from them I still seek their help. A common behavior of teenagers I guess.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

I am vocal that I want to live with nature and that was in the province. But when I was a child I want to live in the US or Canada lol. Anyways, that was just a childhood dream and there is no chance now to happen. I prefer in the province to live for good or for my retirement place because my family was there, life in the province was just simple. I want to grow my garden of different vegetables and raise chickens, but I doubt I can't manage to own such chickens because I feel pity when they are going to kill them for consumption, maybe I just stick to growing root crops lol. And of course my cats with me too.

What is your biggest fear?

My biggest fear was inevitable, you know? Death. The death of a loved one or me. When I'm thinking what if my time was near already? Is it painful to lose my life unto this world? How would be the feeling or is there any feeling after your last breath draws? Oh my! I was just so overthinking I think lol. But yes, I fear death for the reason that I accomplish not my dreams yet. I want to live more and experience those things that I wasn't able to do while I am young. And I fear death thinking of my loved ones' situation after I leave them, believe it or not, I am worried about my cats too lol.

What is your favorite family vacation?

We are not like the families who can afford to go for a vacay for leisure. Our vacation was just at home spending time with the family. As a student before after every semester, we went home in the upland to spend our summer vacation in our village. We went to the river for a couple of days and nights to catch fish. We bring with us our food, things for the night, clothes and personal necessities. We are like camping along the river banks with the others. That was very fun and memorable indeed.

Or else we host our relatives from the city when they come for a vacation in our village.

How many languages do you speak?

In our province, we have a lot of native dialects of the different tribes that consist of the population. In our village, there were four primary dialects we speak but we are speaking the language of Ilocano, Tagalog, and English. I know to speak a little bit of Arabic too. I never learned Cantonese one though I was two years being an ofw in HK before because my lady boss want me to speak in English for her to learn too or maybe she just doesn't want me to understand them when they were doing marites lol.

Here I share to you our Tingguian dialect, maybe someone here was my katribo too. Tingguians was one of the indigenous peoples of the Philippines or IP's and I'm proud to be one of them.

• ADASEN: ( Ay-ayatennaka )

• BINUNGAN: ( Ay-ayatinaka ) the pronunciations may differ from the word.

• ILOCANO: ( Ay-ayatenka )

The English of the word was I LOVE YOU or in Tagalog MAHAL KITA. there were more dialects in the whole province but I just stated what was spoken in our village.

If you had to describe yourself as an animal, which one would it be?

I am a CAT. Maybe because I love them that much. I am shy at times. I am independent but can be dependent on the one I trust and love. Just like a cat, I can be feisty against abusive deeds. I am a cat who suffers in silence avoiding bothering anyone about my failing and ailments.

What is one thing you will never do again?

 One thing that I will never do again was to TRUST so EASILY.

In a place where you know no one only the person that you can trust was yourself. Maybe we found new friends and they may show good traits while talking to you but beware you don't know what is the real score behind your back. I am not talking in general because there are new-found friends that are real too. It was just a reminder for us if you see that it suits or it fits you.
