Which Famous Geniuses went Mad?

Sadly, It's NIKOLA TESLA who invented the 20th century..😔

He is the Inventor of-
1 Alternating current
2 Induction motor
3 Neon lamp
4 Tesla Turbine
5 Magnifying Transmitter
6 Tesla coil and many more.

A person who is
Held approximately 300 patents,Spoke eight languages;
There is no doubt that how hell of a genius he was.

But After years of wildly successful invention, Tesla began to lose his way, making grandiose, eccentric and sometimes completely impossible claims. He fervently spoke of building a "teleforce weapon" capable of melting steel wirelessly from 200 miles away. Upon his death, a box supposedly containing a death ray part was found to contain only a basic piece of old equipment.

Tesla believed that he could create a camera to project a brain's thoughts onto a wall. He built a 187 foot-tall tower to try to wirelessly convey electric power across the planet, using the earth itself as an enormous electrical conductor. He wanted to harness the entire sphere of the Earth as a power line! Upon picking up odd signals at one of his labs, Tesla believed that they could have been sent from Mars by using that planet similarly as a conductor.

Celibate his entire life,Tesla became lonely and slightly paranoid in his elder years. He claimed to keep his ideas inside of his brain to keep them from being stolen. He was suspicious of twentieth century physics, as explained by Einstein and others. OCD traits began to hamper him;he could not tolerate round objects, human hair or touching things that might have germs. He was supposedly obsessed with the numbers..

By 1912, Tesla began to withdraw from that doubting world. He was clearly showing signs of(OCD)obsessive-compulsive disorder, and was potentially a high-functioning autistic. He became obsessed with cleanliness and fixated on the number three; he began shaking hands with people and washing his hands—all done in sets of three. He had to have 18 napkins on his table during meals, and would count his steps whenever he walked anywhere. He claimed to have an abnormal sensitivity to sounds, as well as an acute sense of sight, and he later wrote that he had “a violent aversion against the earrings of women,” and “the sight of a pearl would almost give me a fit.”

Near the end of his life, Tesla became fixated on pigeons, especially a specific white female, which he claimed to love almost as one would love a human being. One night, Tesla claimed the white Pigeon visited him through an open window at his hotel, and he believed the bird had come to tell him she was dying. He saw “two powerful beans of light” in the bird’s eyes, he later said. “Yes, it was a real light, a powerful, dazzling, blinding light, a light more intense than I had ever produced by the most powerful lamps in my laboratory.” The pigeon died in his arms, and the inventor claimed that in that moment, he knew that he had finished his life’s work.

Nikola Tesla would go on to make news from time to time while living on the 33rd floor of the New Yorker Hotel. And in 1934, the New York Times reported that Tesla was working on a “Death Beam” capable of knocking 10,000 enemy airplanes out of the sky. He hoped to fund a prototypical defensive weapon in the interest of world peace, but his appeals to J.P. Morgan Jr. and British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain went nowhere. Tesla did, however, receive a $25,000 check from the Soviet Union, but the project languished. He died in 1943, in debt, although Westinghouse had been paying his room and board at the hotel for years.

Nikola Tesla never created free energy from thin air. He neither created earthquakes nor built a death ray. He did however, make enormous contributions to the world.

Thanks for reading.

Have a great day.😊

Nikola Tesla was a great genius in deed. He was a great scientist with major interest in Physics. I give him a posthumous salute.

I imagine that is what happens when all your life's work is destroyed by J P Morgan because Tesla's free wireless energy devices could not be metered.

But who was more crazy?

The man talked to pigeons but created systems to give free energy to the whole of humanity; or the man who destroyed the another man, his lab and all his research, because it would give free energy to the whole of humanity?

When you reflect on that one act the global consequence to human society and the environment have been enormous...........

Everyone fails to mention how his patents were constantly stolen from him and how his inventions were first called dangerous and were sabotaged by his rivals, namely Benjamin Franklin, whom was his first employer when he came to the U.S. I think the sabotage would be enough to drive anybody crazy

He was really a great inventor of the 20th century. But he deserve much more respect and recognition than any other scientist as we have in memories. Those who knows Tesla well they steal his idea. This is just my personal opinion.
