Hello beautiful people!
Special greetings to you all and wishing you the best of the weekend (especially Sunday).
Thank you sponsors
Laziness caught up with me again this morning when I woke up. I was awake as early as 4:00am just to find time to write and publish before I set off to Church, but all my plans failed because of writer's block.
Time was past 6:00am when I decided to leave writing till when I returns from church. I knew it wasn't a good move but I had no choice. The only option left for me was to stay at home and use the time to think of what to write,,,,that means I wouldn't be going to church because of writing an article. That's not fair!
I left the whole struggles to go and prepare for church. I was done in less than 30mins. When I was about to move, I checked the time and saw 6:33am. I was surprised at myself because it's been long that I was punctual to church...finally I broke the record of always going late to church (the lateness here means what I'm referring to meeting our "Unit's pre-prayer meeting" and not literally appearing late against the kick off of the main church service).
I came out to the main road, boarded a bike and zommed off to church. Just as I predicted, I met my Unit members on prayers which I joined them instantly. We were being posted to our various posts after the prayer and for sure, they didn't failed to praise my effort for coming early today (isn't that polite mockery?😂).
After that, I moved to my post to have a little me-time before the service.
Service kicked off and we all did out best with officiating.
Today was our monthly Thanksgiving and Child Dedication service, so we had a lot of non members that visited us. Some of them found it difficult with our officiating manners such as;
We have a setting where we direct nursing mothers to, so their disturb wouldn't affect the people much.
Ladies with indecent dressings such as very mini skirt and large exposure of cleavages, we don't allow them to cross a certain sector.
The first service finished and those of us that would be staying for second service were posted again. I was posted and by that time, my eyes were turning me already (hungry) and I was feeling dizzy too. I slept late yesterday's night
The service ended with an extension of additional 30mins. I left for home so hungry.
Something happened!
After the close of the service, I noticed that I had overspent what I budgeted for and what was left with me could not take me home(transport fair). So I decided to stylishly trek a little bit before taking a bike home.
Instead of taking the normal direct road, I decided to use the 'corner ways' and it really helped.
I called a bike after I had trekked some distance and the bikeman didn't bothered to argue with me on the price I called.
I got home and quickly rushed to my kitchen to get something to quench my hungry stomach. I was eating when I had a knock on my door. I opened the door and it was one my neighbors(the eldest in the compound), he brought a report that sounded like a goodnews to me. He said he had taken our faulty water pump to repair and we'll contribute some amount of money when the repair is done. I was so happy to hear that because our troubles of begging to fetch water in other compound is ending soon. But the main issue here is other tenants, they look so comfortable with the water struggles and I don't think if they'd contribute to the repair of pumping machine easily.
After that, I switched to watch an home match(FIFA U17 WOMEN WORLD CUP) before going out to watch Manchester United's match.
Sorry for bringing this rubbish article to your face. I'm suffering from writer's block and I don't want today to pass by
Thanks for reading🥰🥰
