Contrary to popular believes I am one of those people who thinks chemistry is easier than physics. I don’t know why maybe because my physics tutor was also my principal or maybe because physics was a little bit complex for me back in secondary school, either ways chemistry came very easy to me and not to brag I was probably the best student in my class back in secondary school. Now don’t go asking me chemistry questions I am a bit rusty (apologies to my friend) if it were back in those days i am confident I would be able to answer any chemistry question…
Anyways moving on … I was really able to grab chemistry because I could relate to the easiest things about the subject for example these simple chemical reaction :-
1. ACid-base reaction
Okay stay with me I am about to go a little nerdy on you all 😹.
HCl (aq) + NaOH (aq) → NaCl (aq) + H2O (l) + heat.
The above is a chemical reaction HCl an acid reacts with NaOH a base to form salt (NaCL) and H2O (water) simple right?? I love this equation because it is constant every time HCL reacts with NaOH it will always give you salt and water. We know what salts are we see them everywhere and water of course is a universal element. Simple reaction east to learn and understand. Chemistry is very interesting I tell you my friends.
2. My toothache theory
I was at friends place yesterday his girl complained about having tooth ache he turned to me and asked a funny question because he knew I had lost some tooth in the past to eating too much sugar. ( I know I am a stubborn human being I have stoped taking sugar by the way) so I tried to offer some solution. I told her to mix warm water with salt then use it to rinse her mouth making sure it touches the tooth.
My theory is that the pain caused in her tooth is caused my micro organisms eating her tooth and causing it to decay this micro organisms are attracted to sugary or sweet stuffs, Now when she takes salt with alkaline in it with would neutralize the sugar present in her tooth and also cause an unrest for those organisms eating her tooth. Now this is just my theory I might be wrong 😹.. any doctor in the house please confirm this….. on to the next..
3.The love reaction
This is probably the simplest kind of reaction in today’s world. A boy meets a girls he likes he makes a move at her showing he loves her she receives it if she likes him back she shows it and easy they are dating and it’s all lovey-Dovey. But in my wild research on this topic I have found that this reaction can be slow sometimes and as such one would need a CATALYST.
A catalyst speeds up the reaction and in this case the catalyst can be looks, power or money. One would need a very strong catalyst for this reaction to pull through. But yeah this is also a very good example of a simple chemical reaction.😹.
Its another great weekend holidays, I am feeling pretty optimistic for the week to come. I hope you are too. Thank you for your support always do check out these amazing sponsors of mine. They have written really great stuff…
MY SPONSORS BLOCK 🎉🎊💪🧠
Thank you again for sticking with me I hope you enjoyed this one do check out my other articles stay safe and stay blessed. Happy Sunday.❤️
Immediately I saw the balanced equation (I DNT knw if it's balanced sef🤦), I got weakend. From my secondary school days I loved physics to chemistry that was because I had go good tutor. Our set had a dead chemistry session since there was no stable teacher. I love how you related those features with chemistry. I know I don't know chemistry that much but I know of salt provitive effect to tooth decay
