Good day brothers and sisters,

I have an amazing message to share with you today. I won’t waste much of your time describing how I came about this message I would just go ahead and share it.

An American preacher on a missionary work visited a country that arrested an persecuted Christians. He met the heads of the churches in that country they were 22 in number. He asked them a question which goes

“Now If we were to get caught here, what would happen to me”

They replied him-“oh you would get deported within 24 hours and we would go to jail for 3 years” 😱

He said “ you are joking right how many of you have been in prison for your faith”

Out of 22, 18 of them raised their hands. And the American preacher was so shocked. He then asked again.

”you are 22 in number how many people do you oversee” because they were all of these small underground church group leaders. he said to them “ if you counted them up how many would they be”

They did a little math and said “well a little over 20 million”😱.

The preacher goes “what”. Truth is there over 1.2 billion people in that country( go figure). The preacher was so shocked.

After a while he brought out 15 bibles he came with and shared them obviously 7 of them didn’t get one. He then said “ let’s turn to 2nd Peter chapter 1 and we are going to read it” just then a lady handed hers to one of the people who didn’t get who was next to her. This drew the preachers attention. But anyways they turned to the Bible verse and as soon as they started reading the preacher understood why she gave her Bible to another person.

See she had memorized the whole thing and she was just reciting the chapter while everyone was reading from their bibles. When they were done and on a break the preacher went to her and said “you recited the whole chapter” she says “oh yes I memorized many chapters” the preacher asked her “where did you memorize all these chapters” she goes “in prison you have much time”. He said to her “ but don’t they confiscate the Bibles” she said “yes they do .. so people bring in pieces of paper with scriptures written in them and they bring it in”.

He said “but then if they find that piece of paper on you won’t they confiscate that too” she said “oh yes they will that is why you memorize it as fast as you can”. -“ because even though they can take the paper away they can’t take what’s hidden in your heart” Again the preacher was so amazed.

After three days when he was done and about to leave he said to them “how can I pray for you I am going back to America, you all have been so Wonderful how can I pray for you”.They said to the preacher “you know how you guys can gather like this in the open and just worship but we can’t- pray for us that one day we would be able to do so too”. And then the preacher looked at them and said I would not do that.

They looked at him in disbelieve and said “why”. He said because..

you guys rode a train for 13 hours to get here, in my country if you have to drive for more than 1 hour to get here people don’t come anymore.

You all sat on this wooden floor for 3 days, in my country, if people had to sit more than 40 minutes they’d leave.

You sat not only for 3 days on this wooden floor but you did it without air-conditioning, in my country If it’s not padded pews and air-conditioning people don’t often come back.

In my country we have an average of two bibles per family we don’t read any of them you hardly have any bibles but you memorized them from pieces of paper.

I will not pray that you become like us but I will pray that we become just like you.
