Planting can be satisfying especially when harvesting.

I grew up here in the province witnessing all kinds of plants, vegetables, fruits, crops being planted by our living heroes today, the farmers. I really admire them and I hope you too. I also have high respect for them and I hope everybody can. If you're parents are farmers then you are lucky enough to experience how good life is.

Being able to plant something now, you wait then later on the reward of your hardwork will be harvest by you and that is the most satisfying moment in life of a farmer or a gardener or someone who can grow their own food. Growing your own food is so easy to do but not everyone can do it or they don't have time to do it.

Other's also says that because they don't plant or grow their own food is that when they plant, it dies. Well a plant will die if you will not take care of it. Once you plant it, taking care of it is included in your responsibility. Don't just plant and leave it suffering from drought. So the true reason why it died is because you failed to do your responsibility.

Planting and growing your own food is fun and you can learn many lessons along the way. You can relate especially when it come to our life. For example the necessity of plants in water, humans need it too that's why we should treat our plants as a human also. Provide the water it needed in order to survive and bear fruit for you.

There's a lot of advantages in having your own garden at home such as you can assure that it is safety from harmful chemicals and most of all you can save a lot of money. How cool is that. Also it can be considered as your stress reliever just like what it did to me yesterday. I spend some time with them then later on I'm good to go again.

You can also talk to them. If you're looking for someone you can tell your secrets then they are the best for that role. For example if you have crush on someone but you're to shy to confess it then confess first in your plants lol. That's what I do sometimes and I may look like crazy to you but that's me haha.

Farming and planting those fruit bearing tress are less appreciated by many and only some can really appreciate it's potential in making the economy of one's country to be alive and kicking. Just like there in the Philippines, we are a agricultural country and there's a lot of potential here but I don't really know why they are not acting upon it. Maybe the government especially the Department of Agriculture have to conduct more orientations in the society especially in far flung areas.

Here in our province I don't know what are the jobs of those who are employed in DA in each municipalities because since I was a child I didn't witness or heard about them going in each barangay conducting orientations that can help every farmer in the vicinity. These guys should be able to do that since all the roads here going to barios are all accessible by four wheeled vehichles in these days even before.

Our farmers here need a lot of guidance from the experts in the government in order for them to be competitive enough in pursuing their chosen profession. Farmers can't do it alone especially when it comes to those fertilizers and pesticides.

What I see now here in our province is that they do the trial and error method in their fields which means spending large amount of money in those things without knowing if it's effective of not. And these stores who sell this kind of products are milking money from them. Employees in such establishments should be expert in agriculture things just like in farmacies.

Moving on, I said in my yesterday's article that I will plant my tomatoes this day and here it is.

I planted 2 tomatoes per sack in order for it not to be crowded when they grow up. I will water these tomatoes with rice wash which I find very effective since I started growing plants like tomatoes and eggplants.

I don't need other fertilizers any more because the soil is already an organic fertilizer which is good for their growth. When it come to pesticides, I use the leftovers from the farm. Well insects are not very active here so there's nothing to worry about.

Speaking of harvesting and your feeling why you're doing it is just unexplainable. Just this morning, my mother called me to harvest the peanut because it's leaves are already yellow. So went to harvest it and while harvesting we are laughing together because there's a lot of peanut despite that she only planted 24 peanuts back then. We are okay again so yeah call for celebration lol. We already boiled some and I'm eating it now while typing. It's sweet and juicy hihi.

Author's note

Let us practice to grow our own food, plant some fruit bearing trees now. Not only those fruit bearing but also trees because later on you will be remembered not by your names but by your contribution when you are still alive.

As you can observe that I'm talking a lot about agriculture , farming here because I observed that not many out there are talking about it especially in the society that's why a lot of people can't still recognized it that it can help people to become successful. Talking about one thing over and over again will increase the interest of people who are reading it or hearing it. So we must talk alot about agriculture.

Thank you for reading this one again and I'm really happy now. See you again next time.

Peanuts with spices so good to eat. Agriculture is one of the best way to use our daily needed vegetables even we can sold it to market. Everyone should do it.
