Proud of my country Hello, read.cash friends. I would start the article this way: Congratulations Ukraine!!! 😊👏 Last night was a very exciting evening. Ukraine won the Eurovision Song Contest. I am happy that Ukraine has received support for everything that is currently happening there. We are witnessing a very bad time of war in which innocent people are suffering. I hope that this beautiful event and winning the contest will give them a little strength to endure this difficult period. I hope for peace and that the war will end very, very soon because it has not brought anything good to anyone. As they say, glory to Ukraine! 😊 When it comes to music and artistic performance, the winner of this contest for me is Ana Djuric Konstrakta, a representative of Serbia.
I am from Serbia, but this would be my opinion even if I were not. Last year, I didn't like the Serbian song. I had other favorites. But this year, all my support went to Serbian song, primarily because I respect the artist Konstrakta. When she was chosen to represent us at Eurovision, I wrote an article here about her song, which has a lyrics with a very deep message. You can read it here. https://read.cash/@Jelena/in-a-healthy-body-5c17e136 What was fascinating was that Konstrakta did not get many votes from the expert jury. When the voting of the jury was over, the Serbian representative was in 16th place in terms of the number of votes.
But she received a large number of votes from the audience - 225 and that brought her to the top of the list. Serbia was in the first place!
I was so happy and excited! And very nervous. I was hoping we would win because I think the song absolutely deserved it. It got the biggest applause from the audience. Even the hosts of the program showed affection for the Serbian representative on a couple of occasions. The Serbian representative received the Eurovision award for the best artistic performance and won second place for the best lyrics.
Finally, Serbia won fifth place. It is certainly a great success and it makes me proud of my country today. Thank you Ana Djuric - Konstrakta for making me proud of Serbia. I don't feel that way often. When I heard the audience at a prestigious contest such as Eurovision applauding and supporting my country, I knew that we did a good job and that people all over Europe and the world understood the song even though it was sung in Serbian. As Konstrakta says, an artist must be healthy! So, let's stay all healthy and safe.

The people do really love her performance as what we've seen in the votes and the representative did her very best to go to the top. Congratulations to Serbia and to the representative!
