Slashing typhoon Odette
Last December 16, 2021 the typhoon Odette strikes at the Philippines. Part of Mindanao and Visayas been hit. Bringing torrential rains, violent winds, floods and storm surges the Visayas and Mindanao Islands. Lots of houses been destroyed, some people are injured then some not lucky to be alive.
We didnt expected that it could be happened that kind of dillema in our country. Its a greatest nightmare to all people been affected. They spend their Christmas and New Year with full of doubts. The only I can do is to pray for them that hope our government can provides all there needs especially the foods.
The news at the TV that makes me cry. Seeing my fellow filipinos suffering there lives of typhoon Odette. They lost there own houses and they dont know how to start again.
I just remembered Nerissa the sister of my bff Myla. Since she got married she already lives at Pagsabungan Mandaue Cebu City. But sad to say the slashing typhoon Odette hit their house. The roof really take off. I feel pity upon looking the photos that been sent on me via facebook messenger. Julia Ann send it to me, the younger sister of bff Myla.
How can you imagined there simple house turns into like that, it breaks my heart huhuhu. Although they are 8 siblings but all of them send some money to Nerissa so that they can buy the most important things in there daily needs.
Her sister Judy that work at Japan send her a big amount so that she can buy the roof as soon as possible. Nerissa really cried according to her sisters. She never expected that it will happened to them but the most important is they are alive. Thank God!
Thats the reason Nerissa didnt spend New Year in her parents that usually they really do every year. She cannot leave there house in that situation.
Nancy lives at Pinamungajan Toledo Cebu, the sister also of bff Myla but her family is safe. Not so affected like Nerissa. But still shes very scared at that moment. Everyone is scared and even me that day also I cant sleep.
Being alive in this madness situation were still lucky that God let us stay in his paradise that hope people dont abused the nature that we had. We dont need to be selfish always coz life is too short. Once you die you cannot bring your money in heal/heaven.
