It's been more than three years since we are battling this pandemic. Time goes by and we should be moving forward and getting better, but it seems like we are moving backward and becoming more complicated. More protocols and restrictions have been imposed just to take control of the situation and mitigate casualties and new cases.
Imposed strict protocols were for the betterment of everyone and things seems to have been taken control of since then. Hong Kong's possible large-scale lockdown is still uncertain and many are still worried about it. Fortunately, there is a bigger chance that it might not be implemented, as HK's new cases decreased by a large percentage from the previous peak.
Things seem to be slowly back to normal, yet, social distancing is still necessary. Except in tourist spots as I witnessed how large the crowds are in those places. But people are well-disciplined in wearing masks in public places, unless necessary to be removed.
Some things didn't change yet though, like accepting dine-ins after six in the evening is still prohibited and classes are still online. That makes my boss's family stay inside the house the whole day unless they need to go out for some important matter. Unfortunately, my phone time is also limited as I can't use it more often at work, and my boss' eyes are looking and monitoring my work.
Thus, my timetable had changed and I can barely manage to add more spare time for my online grinding. The situation is understandable though as this is just my side job and I should be focusing more on my real-world job. Yet, there are things that I should be taken into consideration as well, like pega racing as I have to burn the energies before it exceeds twenty-five. Writing and posting an article each day is my blogging goal. And I'm squeezing my time just to fill in them in my timetable.
During the first weeks of these newly imposed strict protocols here in HK, my nights were always extended just to finish my articles and interact a little with these three platforms, read/noise.cash, and Hive. Monitoring my SmartBCH investments has become less priority as I have to spend my time racing my pegaxies.
Oftentimes, I would sleep at almost midnight and even past midnight occasionally, also because of the annoying Polygon network which seems to load forever compromising my pega racing. I'm getting darker eye bags because of this, and they aren't a pretty sight. Moreover, during the day, I tend to yawn most of the time as I lack sleep.
Sometimes, I take advantage of my eating time to race my pegaxies and interact a little on these platforms. But it seems inappropriate when my boss is looking at me using my phone when the fact is, it's included as my working time. So I seldom take out my phone while eating to give respect to them and avoid getting bad feedback.
To remedy this complex situation, self-discipline has been imposed. Although I'm still struggling with committing to it, I'm trying my very best to fully do the right thing.
I'm trying to sleep as early as I can so I could wake up earlier than before to race my pegaxies in the morning and write an article. So recently, I'm waking up at six in the morning just to do the necessary things online before I ready myself to work at seven. But sometimes I failed to write an article as my mind couldn't think well if it's not fully awake yet, lol. If that happened, I would write an article during my break time and finish it at night before sleeping.
Additionally, I've been mulling over renting my pegaxies just to lessen things on my plate. Besides, the VIS price just drop even lower and is not profitable enough to exert more time and effort into it. I would rather spend my spare time writing and interacting than racing them. Moreover, my phone easily gets hot and drains battery recently due to heavy battery consumption in using Metamask, and it might damage my phone's battery in the long run. If that happens, it would cost me an arm and a leg to buy a new phone.
You might be wondering why I have had lesser interaction recently, and this is the reason I spend more time in racing and writing. So pardon me for my inactivity. I'm trying to balance my work, blogging, and health so I wouldn't be compromising one aspect again this time which I failed to attain last year.
The upside here is, my arm and chest muscle pains are getting better through the remedy I discovered. And that is applying bandages around my arms during daytime at work, and wrapping my chest with elastic bandages at night when sleeping to avoid chest muscles from contracting and flexing too much when moving while sleeping. After several days of applying this remedy, I can see an improvement in my arms and chest and I didn't experience chest muscle pain anymore upon waking up in the morning.
With the knowledge I got in Caregiving and self-discipline, things are getting better in my health aspect. All I have to do is to balance everything well so one aspect wouldn't be compromised and I could continue my blogging as it became part of my daily routine already.
That's all my ramblings for today and thank you for reading.

I think the pandemic is near to end Jane and let's just hope there's no new variant because we know it will trigger another lockdown and when there's a lockdown, there's a limitation for everything and restrictions to travel.
