Be Grateful for the Best and the Worst of 2022
December 31, 2022
In just a few hours, another year is about to end.I guess it's time to look back on what has transpired this year. Recognize and be grateful for the best things that happened to us. On the flip side, let's learn from the mistakes that we did in 2022, and be careful for them as well.
Greetings once again, my dear readers and friends. I have not written on any platform as frequently as I wanted to in the past couple of months. Perhaps, I have some motivation to write.
Correct me if I am wrong, but many of us here are writing to earn some extra cash... or rather... cryptocurrency. I know that writing for a platform like this will not make me rich. Nevertheless, I have earned more than what I neededfor my expenses that I was able to save from my earnings.
Also, I had my first big project since the pandemic started that earned me a lot. While the first half of 2022 was awesome, not everything was great for me financially for the rest of the year.
Looking Back
In January, I received a total of 0.43223261 BCH. On the transaction record, that's supposed to be about $160. However, since the price of BCH continued to drop at that time, it was on equivalent to about $120 at the end of the month.

In February, the prices continues to drop that I almost sold every BCH that I have earned out of need and panic.
Eventually, I learned to sell gradually at the same time some some BCH in my second wallet.

If I remember it right, the cryptocurrency prices started to recover sometime in February. However, the Rusi-Ukrainian war started which ingnited another downward spiral of the global economy.
2nd Quarter Blessings
Fortunately, in March I had a project, that not only, I earned significant amount but also allowed me to travel a bit. In May, I was able to buy a new 10-inch tablet from that project. (https://read.cash/@JLoberiza/is-the-huawei-matepad-104-an-amazing-tablet-e80fb83d)
2 BCH Achieved
In June, I was able to acumulate 2 BCH in my two wallets. With my extra fiat income, I decided not to spend even the ones in my spending wallet. My goal for 2022 is to save at least 3 BCH.
Unfortunately, I had to slowly sell at least half of my BCH for my basic expenses. On the other hand, I kept my BCh in my "savings" wallet. At the time of writing I have at least 1.17 BCH.

3rd - 4th Quarter Downward Spiral
The cryptocurrency prices continued to drop in the 3rd quarter of the year. I can bare earn $50 in a month. I admit, I was quite dissapointed.
With the return of face-to-face classes, I have to divide my time between writing and preparing for my classes. Though I had a regular salary from my part-time teaching job, I used to earn more from my articles.
I Joined Hive
Sometime in July, I joined Hive. My experience in Hive is quite different compared to read.cash. Though my earning is inconsistent, I have now accumulated a little over $100 worth of HBD and HP in my wallet.
If I were more active, perhaps, I can earn faster and more in Hive.

In Conclusion
We all had a share of both the best and the worst in 2022. It's just right that we should be grateful for all the blessings that we have received this year. On the other hand, there are times or circumstances that we have failed this year. However, we have truly failed only if we did not learn any lessons from those failures.
Action Plan
Make a list of the things you have accomplished in 2022 and be grateful for them.
List down the goals you failed to accomplished.
Determine why you failed to achieved these goals.
List down the lesson(s) you have learned from these failures.
Be grateful for these failures and the lessons you have learned from them.
Make a plan on you can accomplish these failed goals in 2023.
