From the Fires of Gehenna
All of the damned souls Those who broke the sacred rule All those who are fools They fall to the pit They feel regret as they grit As they're slowly lit They scream through the fire They slowly sink through the mire Of flesh, blood and bile The endless torment From the fires where you've been sent You'll wish you repent The eons you'll spend For the things you broke and bent Just to make amends

The last stanza gave me goosebumps, imagining the horror and destruction of the cursed Ghenna, love the haiku depiction. "To suffer for eternity" they say.
Who's to say we're not suffering already? Thanks for reading my work. I never thought that I'd receive your praise.
Pain with regrets the only feeling you can feel when you fall here. We might experience hell even now that we're alive but i hope we'll be free from a monstrous place, even sometimes it's ourselves.
It sounds good to me. I wonder who changed the place. Are you familiar with Hella? Have you heard about the fairy tale "Frau Holle"? Frau Holle is Hella. Her world doesn't look like the one you describes. I wonder about those sacred rules... 👍💕🍀
