IKEA time! We need a new light in the kitchen, a light for the utility corner, something for hanging clothes (coats and stuff), so we decided it was time for IKEA. IKEA montage, part deux I still had to install the new kitchen table light I bought a couple of days ago. Improvements, improvements, improvements The top light on a two levels standing light died some time ago, I swapped the bulb, but it just did not work again. It's an old lamp, the nice feature is the dimming light on the top, the bulb was not very economical, it got very hot and, at certain settings, even produced an audible buzz. The last sunday of three My dear N is in her final days of pregnancy. She will be full term on wednesday, 8th and since she has gestational diabetes it is highly unlikely she would give birth more than a few days after the set date. The sunday mini IKEA improvement In a nieche in the kitchen I put all the installations needed to connect a washing machine and a dryer. This was 5 years ago when I renewed it all. From the ground up. For now we only put the dryer in the space and I made some shelves to make it a storage space. The final examination? My dear N is preparing for the visit to the gynecologist. Since it is 2 days before the expected date of birth it might be the last one! Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia, but with a bit over 300.000 inhabitants a relatively small city. When I was walkong the walkway next tho the Ljubljanica river I took a snapshot of stairs that became an Itallian restaurant on one side and a Chinese restaurant on the other. Lunchtime! I have been able to relatively freely cook anything for the whole family for once in a long time. Morning diaper run It was sunday yesterday and all the shops were closed. Our Nik did not care, lol, and used all the diapers we had. So I went to the petrol station in the middle of the night to buy any they had. Sunday, swollen up I don't know what happened but this morning I've woken up a swelling on my face and it seems to still get bigger. I felt it as a very small swelling yesterday, just as if a mosquito would bite me (it didn't) and it got way worse during the night. In da hospital Sitting in the hospital. I have been given a ton of papers to fill out and now I'm waiting to be called on for surgery. I was not allowed to eat since yesterday and when I was told I was incredibly hungry already. Now I just want it to be over with, so I can see how to go about my hunger. Out of the operating room I was given an option to go for a local anestetic or general anestetic. I chose local and a bit of pain, no falling asleep though. The whole procedure was quite painful, but the anestetic is still functional. I can slowly feel my cheek and it's not pretty. Keep cool and enjoy the day! #surgery #aaaaargh #RandomThoughts

Busy monday I had a surgery today, they just opened up my cheak and cleaned it, now I have ro wait for it to heal. In the meantime I'll be visiting my doctor for the bandage changes and additional cleaning. While I'm starting to heal I bought a cola. I saw this ripoff of a famous drink and I just had to try it. First they join me on the balcony for coffee and a checkup of the things below the balcony and then they go inside to wash.
