Morning diaper run It was sunday yesterday and all the shops were closed. Our Nik did not care, lol, and used all the diapers we had. So I went to the petrol station in the middle of the night to buy any they had. I am not allowed to enter a petrol station as I am not vaccinated, did not have covid19 already and have not been twated in the past 48 hours, but try to stop me feom getting diapers for my little one. Just try! They only had no. 4 and 5 and our Nik uses XS, so everything was way too big. I grabbed the smaller ones and left. This morning the situation was quite on edge. I ran into the shop to get the right kind first thing and as I returned home they were needed. I was just in time and now all is well again. Nik's ass and peepee are safe, dry and Nik is happy. #diaperRun #Nik #personal #RandomThoughts

Getting diapers in times like this is really a hassle especially when your baby just finished all you available stock at home. I can completely relate to that lol. And by getting the right for them is even a struggle when the place you ran into doesn't have the stock for it. You'd have to run into multiple store before finding the right one.
The size availability in the shop is no problem. The problem was it was sunday and here it's actually illegal to have a shop open on sundays.
I've no idea that it's illegal to open stores on a Sunday. Where are you from my friend?
From Slovenia. Only certain stores are allowed to be open, no shopping malls, no pharmacies, ...
Woah, is it because of the pandemic? Or is it only on Sundays? I never really knew that this exists in other countries, I mean in ours, I guess stores are always open.
It used to be like that here until recently. We had a referendum on shops being open on sundays and the argument was that everyone deserves a day off and it has to be a day everyone is off, sunday. There are exceptions, camping sites, petrol stations, tourist centers, ... But basicaly it's all closed. A day without shopping.
A day off isn't a bad idea. But maybe when you're a parent in need of supply it's kinda frustrating.
But also if you are a parent and work in a store you get at least one day weekly with your family.
