The (almost) futile attempt at clean air A year ago I bought a cabin air filter for my car, but somehow I did not come around to exchanging it. I did not find the time, i was lazy and needed a bit of courage to start taking the only vehice we own apart. Today my dear N was completely exhausted as she could not sleep during the night. The final phase of her pregnancy brought her quite some sleepless nights. She fell asleep and I took the replacement filter and some tools. I did not want to wake her up, so I sneaked outside and started working on the car. Removing all I needed was quite simple and I reached the filter soon. I replaced it with the new one, but something was a bit odd as I placed it in. It somehow did not fit perfectly. I took it out again only to discover it really was of a smaller format. I bought the wrong one. I cleaned the original filter as much as I could and put it back, screwed everything back into place and I was done - surprisingly simple, straight forward and quick. As I tested everything it's all working fine, even the cleaner filter is obvious as I turn the air conditioning to the max. So, was it futile? No, not really, but also not as good of a 'service' I was hoping for. #car #DIY #halfFail #halfWin #RandomThoughts

Okay, I'm telling myself. What you can do today, don't leave for tomorrow. Sometimes we are a little careless and don’t do everything on time. You still managed to finish it
I did, but not as well as I hwve hoped. 🤞❤️🖖
