Improvements, improvements, improvements The top light on a two levels standing light died some time ago, I swapped the bulb, but it just did not work again. It's an old lamp, the nice feature is the dimming light on the top, the bulb was not very economical, it got very hot and, at certain settings, even produced an audible buzz. I loved that light, but as I said it just sropped working all of a sudden. My dear N's mom got us a new lamp as a surprise gift and brought it over a few hours ago. As soon as I had some time I snapped a picture of the old lamp (round top, pic 2) and the new one unassembled. The assembly was straight forward. Just screw every section of the light into the next, the wire already runs through, the switches are in place. I only had to assemble the weight and the stand. All it took was a single tool: a wrench that was in the case. The new light is more economic, looks slicker. It is not dimmable, but has perks of its own as shown. The top declines separately, it spins around the axis, can point up, down, mixed. Another win! 💪 #montage #lamp #RandomThoughts
