We are entering into the festive period. A time when most leagues go on breaks but the premier league is different. This is the period that determines where the trophy is headed at the end of the season. Gameweek 16 was all business as usual.
It was the Penalty game week. Chelsea won with a narrow gap, all thanks to two penalty goals from Jorginho. Man City had a penalty of their own, which Raheem sterling converted. As if that wasn’t enough, Liverpool got theirs, which Mo Salah converted. It's still early to judge Manchester united’s new coach but so far, it’s been all good news from their camp. Cristiano Ronaldo was clinical again. He scored the only goal of the match from the penalty spot.
Will it be a 3 man horse race between Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea? Or are Tuchel’s boys already losing their momentum ahead of the busy December schedule they have? Remember they will be off for the Club World cup in a few weeks. I hope that won’t affect them.

Managing of the week
Damola Okoya was again the manager of the week. His Goalkeeper Ramsdale bagged 11 points for him. Arnold and Dennis got 9 points each, Gallagher and Salah got a whopping 15 points and 16 points respectively. In total, he had 85 points

Please, don’t be like me. My teamed calls for my attention with different injury concerns but I neglected the call. My point was way below the global average. If you ask if I learnt from that and made some transfers ahead of Gameweek 17. My answer will still be “No”. I need to set an alarm for this. Position on the table? I fell below the Top 20 ranking and currently occupy the 27th position.
