Hello dear read cash friends, I heard a lot of nice things about this platform so I decided to join you. I will try to introduce you to many interesting places in the world.I hope you find it interesting to read me.
During a trip through Europe, Robert de Niro came to the former Yugoslavia in 1967 as a hitchhiker.
Exhausted from the road, at the exit from Nis, he stopped Radovan Đokić, a peasant from the village of Čokot, and asked him for an overnight stay. Đokić decided to meet him and connected him to his house. The hosts were up to the task and hosted the guest nicely. The next day they escorted him on a journey with bread and cheese.
A year later, in the summer of 1968, a Volkswagen with German registrations arrived in Chokot. The same young man got out of the car with his head and chin. This time, De Niro stayed for three days, and together with his host, he picked tomatoes, drove vegetables to the Nis market and sold them together. He left Chokot for Greece, but soon returned because he received a hitchhiker at the gas station between Nis and Leskovac who stole his wallet. Đokić gave him money for the trip, De Niro offered him a camera in return, which Radovan refused.
As proof that he never forgot hospitality, the fact that while his children were small, De Niro often hired nannies from Serbia also testifies.
I hope you like this curiosity, write comments and say what you think
