Stand For What You Believe in
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you feel intimidated? Where someone is intentionally trying to get the best of you?Regardless of the situation, you have to play it cool, calm and collected. You canât allow yourself to be bullied by anyone. Bullies only get the better of you because you allow them to and not because they are better than you. One thing bullies hate is seeing someone who is confident and knows their worth. That fear is what makes them feel powerless and at times, gives them the courage to confront you.
Many times, bullies are people who are going through some kind of crisis in their lives. And by confronting you, they are seeking for attention and validation for their problems.
Some people are bound to disagree with you. They say not to worry about it, but this is a part of life. Some of your ideas will be unpopular and others will not respect you for them. People will present their alternative options to you, and you will be forced to make a decision. Some days it may seem like everyone is against you, but take solace in the fact that people assume this because it is easier than thinking for themselves.
They say that âthe world is against youâ but it really isnât. You can use this to your advantage by simply standing up for what you believe in. The vast majority of people in your life will support you, even if they do not agree with you. At the end of the day, standing up for what you believe in makes you a stronger and more independent person overall.
As you go through this world, youâll realize it is full of tough situations. From tough decisions to disappointing defeats and heartbreaking losses, these situations can discourage you and make you feel lonely. However, the truth is that these situations are all a part of the journey of life.
The worst thing that can happen is that you just have to let them go. The most effective way to overcome them is to stand up for what you believe in, even if itâs hard and scary. Your young, impressionable self will benefit greatly from your bold actions. Donât be intimidated. Or let people intimidate you into giving up on your dreams. There will never be a perfect moment, perfect timing, or perfect plan to seize what is yours and make your dreams come true. Yet, still, there are no excuses. Donât let anyone shy you into failure.
Stand up for what you believe in. Many people say that you cannot be successful or happy if you're not willing to stand up for what you believe in and in a way, it is safe to say that they are right. Be honest with yourself. How many times have you been too scared to stand up for something that you believed in? Whether at work or at home, this is a problem that affects a lot of people. And when it comes to our well-being, there's no room for weakness.
It's time to find your voice and show the world who you are and what you're capable of. Here are some ideas on how to go about it:
Speak your mind, but know when to stop.
Don't linger on the past. Let go of negativity and don't allow it to affect your present state of mind.
Take care of yourself first. Falling apart will only make things harder for you to handle.
Be Firm
Yes, you should be firm. Be unwavering, refuse to change your position, hold your ground, stick with it, remain firm. Assert your position without wavering. If you can be firm and resolute in trying times and not change your position or give in to what others want you to do, it is a great life skill. If you are going to take a stand on anything (something this site is completely against) then it should be on something that you believe in and not just something because people say so.
If you don't believe in the things you espouse then what's the point?
Standing up for something you believe in is good...being firm about it is even better. Be firm and stand for what you believe.
Repeat after me: I will be firm. I will be unwavering. I will be steadfast. I will not change my mind for anything or anyone. I will not budge on my position.
People should stand up for what they believe in, but unfortunately that is something that many people struggle with. They are often worried about the backlash they will receive from those who donât agree with them or their beliefs. One of the reasons why people donât always stand up for themselves and what they believe in is because they are worried about how others will perceive them. They are afraid of how other people will react, and this causes them to never speak their minds or act according to their values. As a result, people become more concerned about other peopleâs opinions, actions, and desires than what they think and feel inside. People become more concerned about their image than doing what is right.
This is the opposite of what society should be like.
Most of the time i pitty this bullies, because whatsoever they are doing, i know very well that they need attention, yet lack the right words to build upon. They do feel their harsh behavior on others is the right way of building their self-esteem. Lets learn to use our mind to find the the fastest way of laying bare what they are doing. Personally, i use laughter more often to defeat them, they can never fight this.
