The beginning of a love story, George and Jane.

George ran into hiding immediately he heard gunshots, and the security also grabbed their weapons to protect the people on board but they were outnumbered, the attackers came in large numbers and they had weapons far better than the ship's security.

It didn't take long before they were in control of the ship, they rounded up everyone including the passengers and crew. George remained in his hiding, he was completely helpless and he was regretting he came for the money. He started shedding tears, the thought of his parents hearing the news of his death troubled him a lot.

I could have been at home having a good meal if not for greed, he was still sobbing quietly when he heard a female voice close to the engine room where he was hiding. He gently peeped but didn't see anyone, he wasn't sure if the person was among the guest or with the attackers.

He listened quietly and heard the lady crying, he immediately knew she wasn't one of the attackers, he went towards the direction of the sound and found the lady, George was blown away by her beauty that he even forgot that anything was happening on the ship at moments.

Hey beautiful, are you alright? George asked as he tried to touch her, she was shocked and quickly raised her head. She recognized George since he was putting on the crew's uniform, and she quickly grabbed his hands.

Please help me, I don't want to die. George helped her up and led her back to his hiding spot, she suggested going to the safe room on the ship but they have to pass through the attackers to get there. He told her how dangerous that would be and they both sat down expecting a miracle.

After a long minute of silence, George decided to break it. "What's your name and what made you board the ship?".

My name is Jane, my dad put me on the ship because he promised he would if I got above 90% in my last examination. Judging from the look, she wouldn't be more than 18 years of age.

Jane continued, I wish I didn't come on board. I always thought that what kind of father wouldn't allow his daughter to get close to his business and this one time he allowed me, I am having the worst nightmare of my life.

George didn't understand Jane's last statement, are you the daughter of the billionaire who owns this ship? He asked and she nodded meaning yes.

He was surprised, how on earth aren't you having bodyguards. She smiled and answered, I don't need them because they make people feel like I am not accessible. The conversation went on while the attackers were busy taking every valuable item on board, to make things worse one of them saw the name of the ship owner's daughter on board. He demanded that she was been produced because they knew that they will make lots of money if she was held as a hostage.

The leader of the attackers went to grab the ship's mic and said into it, " hello princess, I know you are bored so come out before I start throwing people off the ship to the sharks".

Jane and George heard, and she started shivering. They are coming after me, please let's do something. He was sad and promised her that he won't allow anyone to lay his hands on her, she held him tightly while crying.

George asked her if she knew anything about the emergency exit on the ship, and she nodded again signifying that no. The attackers had split into groups and we were combing every corner of the ship in search of Jane, their leader was getting impatient and was fuming over the mic but he didn't hurt any of the passengers as he threatened.

George could hear footsteps from a distance and he knew that the hiding space wasn't safe anymore, he told Jane that they needed to leave, and she asked "to where" with fear written all over her face.

He held her tightly as he tried to leave but she drew him back and said, "I don't want to die, let's just hide here. I am sure they won't find us".

George tried convincing her but it didn't work, he had to be calm with her, he was at the door when he saw a tiny red light from one of the attacker's guns. He quickly rushed back into the engine room, they both ran to a corner to hide and Jane's heels mistakenly stepped on the ground button.

There was a loud beep that drew the attention of the attackers, they ran into the room but didn't find anyone meanwhile immediately Jane stepped on the button, a metal box they were standing on opened and they fell inside the box, that was why the attackers didn't see them.

They got a thermal sensor to scan the room but got nothing, they had a strong belief that Jane was there because they found her tiny purse sitting right on where she stood up from.

George was still trying to comprehend where they fell into, it must have been a kind of secured room in the ship. It was dark so he tried reaching for his phone but discovered he left it with Jane's purse, he moved his hands in the dark and didn't find anything. Jane asked if he found the light switch and immediately the light came up, it looked like the ship had an artificial intelligence installed in case an inexperienced person finds him or herself in it.

He looked through the window and saw that they were beneath the ship, he quickly told Jane to come over to the window. On seeing the beauty of life beneath the ocean, she forgot everything happening. She ran around the small ship looking at the fishes and other aquatic creatures.

Two minutes later, the AI welcomed them and asked if they asked their destination and they said it should take them to the nearest harbor plus it must stay underwater. Immediately, the engines turned on and zoomed off. They were surprised by the speed at which it moved, the people in the big ship felt the vibration but they couldn't specify what it was.

The attackers went around but they didn't see anything, so they continued with their search for Jane. The underwater ship arrived at the shore in 11 hours, and they talked about lots of things while the boat was moving but their biggest joy was arriving at the shore.

They met some military personnel at the shore and explained everything, they immediately radioed the military vessels nearby to rescue the people on the ship and they proceeded with the operation. They arrested the attackers and the ship returned to Nigeria immediately.

George and Jane got clingy on the return trip, it was the beginning of their romantic adventure. They exchange contact because the escort was waiting for Jane at the harbor and they might not have time to talk after landing, George returned to school after getting paid.

He narrated his experience to his friends before packing his things, everyone was surprise to see him back. He said, "I need some cuddling from my mom, I couldn't stop thinking about her on ship.

He boarded a bus going to his hometown, he was about playing some music to keep him alive through the journey when unknown number called. He was reluctant to pick but did when the number called again.

He gently said hello, when the caller said hello first.

Caller: Is that George?

George: Yes

Caller: It is Jane....
