Stuck with the shadow of love.

Ewatomi's beauty is a rare one among the ladies; you can’t walk past her without taking a second glance at God's finest creation. Her beauty shines so brightly that you do need shades to have a proper view of it, the way she illuminates her surrounding is awesome, she adds colors and beauty to everything she comes in contact with.

She became every man’s choice; singles were running after her and even the married men would trade their wives just to have her. At a point, some women thought she was a curse because she is irresistible.

Ewatomi was humble and had good character, it made her a hundred over hundred.

Adewale used to believe that humans can’t be perfect but things changed the first time he met her, he was stunned by her beauty. Her smile blew his mind away, her teeth were as white as the soft cloud in the sky on a sunny day.

She had a huge dimple and he didn’t know when he made a joke that the missing flesh was what formed his heart and he wouldn’t mind giving her his heart to fill those places again, Ewatomi paused to look at him for a moment but she wouldn't let those lines pull her into his world. He was just a random guy who was just recruited by the company where she worked, she responded with a smile as she continued with what she was doing.

Adewale never stopped shooting his shot and it took him close to a whole year before he could get Ewatomi to say yes to his love proposal, he was deeply in love with her but it was hard for him to know how she felt. She was kind and supported him a lot but that doesn’t seem to be enough, he wanted her badly because he always saw his future with her.

Their relationship wasn’t perfect even though Adewale was in love with a perfect being, he was the imperfection. He had lots of challenges in life and Ewa seems to be the only person who makes him see a brighter future but she didn’t have the smallest idea about it.

Everything about her takes away his pain and worries but while Ewa was moving with life, Adewale's life was crawling

Somehow, gaps were created and it is unexplainable how they both found themselves in different worlds. Ewa was happy, things were smooth for her but Adewale's life was a total mess, it seems she took the beauty and hope she gave him initially away. That period became the hardest part of his life but he soon moved on and needed to create a purpose for himself despite what he was going through with life.

He made progress and felt it was time to close Ewa's chapter, he found love again after years but he couldn’t get her out of his head. He still feels something was missing and he might never find it with any other person except Ewatomi who is completely in a different world. Life saw Adewale's pain and made his path cross with Ewatomi again but they were both still stuck in a different world and it looked like Adewale can’t live in that perfect world he always wanted with Ewatomi anymore.

The thoughts of her still keep the fire in his heart burning even many years after, that must definitely be magic. He always wished he could turn back the hands of the clock but he didn’t have a choice but to live with the shadow of love, he agreed that not every beautiful thing we want in life can be ours but he wouldn’t hesitate to cross oceans or even travel millions of miles to just feel the perfection Ewatomi gives to his life again and again.
