Left with No Choice.

Have you ever been in a tight situation where you have only two choices left?

This is a fictional story I would love you to read to the very end because you will be helping someone make a decision between the two choices available for her.

Being barren is no joke, I have seen people go at extra length to have even if it is just one kid in life. It hurts when a lot of effort towards having a child becomes unproductive but it was a different scenario for Lade.

Lade happened to be the first daughter of the family, it was stressful growing up for her because she had lots of responsibilities on her. She has two male siblings which were born as twins, her mother had them 7 years after Lade because she wanted her first child to be old enough to see after the next child, she wasn't planning to have a twice.

She owned a big shop in Lagos and she valued her business more than the family welfare.

her husband on the other hand is a transporter. He had two buses he used for transportation, he drove one and gave the other to someone who delivers to him at the end of every day.

He barely came home, it gave the wife the freedom to do as she wanted with kids. Lade became the mother to her sibling as early as 11, the kids were barely four years of age when their mom started leaving them for Lade.

She drops them off on her way to school and picks them when she is coming back. She makes simple meal already and care for the kids before their mom returns late in the night.

Lade had no freedom for herself and it made life very boring for her. Even when she wanted to process her university admission, she had to put the kids who were still in junior school into consideration and it made her choose a school close to her residence because she knew her mother won't pay attention to the kids.

Her experience prevented her from having a relationship until she was close to graduating. The twin were grown and could care for themselves at that point, she decided to give someone a chance in her life.

It took time before she could adjust to the relationship life because she wasn't used to it. The guy endured her attitude towards the relationship because she deprived him of sex, she didn't want it until her wedding night. It was difficult for him but he loved her and agreed since he had other girls he was dating.

On this fateful Saturday, Lade and her parents went for a family party. The twin couldn't attend because they had exams that day, the exam was a blessing in disguise.

They went in the new car her father just bought, on their way back from the journey something terrible happened.

There was a fatal accident that claimed Lade's parent's life immediately while she went into a coma. She had several physical and internal wounds, everything was been taken care of while she was still in a coma.

It took her over 2months before she recovered and was eventually discharged, he lover stood by her all the period it happened. It was so sad that her parents didn't see her in the NYSC uniform they were eager to see her wear.

Two years after her youth service, she agreed to get married to her lover. Lade didn't need to look for a job, she just took over her mother's business and made it big.

Lade got married and was happy in her relationship.

Issues started coming up two years after marriage, Lade couldn't conceive and it is beginning to stir the peace in the marriage. She got worried and started going to the hospital to see what was wrong with her or her husband. After series of tests with no way forward, one of the twins brought one of the test results the hospital gave to them while she was in a coma.

The twin decided to hide it from her because it states in the result that she might not be able to have kids due to an internal injury she got during the accident. They gave it to her to save her the stress of going from one hospital to another and it broke her heart.

She wept for days and finally opened up to the husband about what happened. He was sad but assured her God would see them through, they visited different hospitals and pastors just to conceive but it didn't happen.

The husband gave up after a long time and got another woman pregnant because he was aging already, he couldn't endure another 10 years without a child in the marriage. Due to the love the husband had for her, he decided to open up to her because his conscience disturbed him a lot.

He took the step because he knew the lady carrying his baby could put to bed anytime and it made things worse for her, she didn't believe her ears. She was helpless and knew something of such would eventually happen someday. That night, the husband got the news that the lady gave birth to a boy, she overheard the conversation on the phone and her bitterness increased.

Immediately the husband left, she dressed up and went out of the house. She didn't know where she was going because she knew her home would be torn apart. She parked in the front of a bar, entered, and ordered alcohol for the first time in her life.

She got drunk on just one bottle, she was so drunk that she couldn't get out of the chair. A man came to her rescue, he got her a room to relax but things went wrong when the woman undressed herself asking for sex from the stranger under the influence of alcohol.

The silly man jumped at the opportunity and he left immediately after the sex, Lade didn't wake up until the following day and when she did, she knew she had done something stupid. She left the hotel in shame because she couldn't even identify the man that slept with her.

Lade went home to pick some cloth and head strength to her parent's house where one of the twins still lived with his family. Her husband begged her to return but she didn't because she thought there was no happiness for her there again.

Three weeks later she started feeling sick, went to the hospital probably she could be having malaria but she got the biggest shock of her life.

Lade was pregnant, she didn't believe her ears, she couldn't call her husband to break the news because they haven't had sex for over 2 months. She left the hospital happy and sad at the same time, the husband didn't stop coming to check her since she didn't return home.

She loved her husband and wanted to live with him forever but not with the pregnancy, she is stuck between aborting the pregnancy and returning to her husband or keeping the pregnancy and leaving her husband forever.
