The generous woman
Good morning my fellow read.cash friends, how was your night and hope you all slept well?
The generous woman is a story of a woman who was very rich and love to help people who are need.
The name of this woman is Mrs Agbaje, she was born at Ibadan Oyo State in 1954 and died in 2017. She lived for 63years.
She has 3 children, 2 boys and a boy. She so much loved her children and doesn't want anything to happen to them. When her last child was 5 years, her husband divorced her due to a little disagreement between them.
Her husband left the children with her and said she will do all her best to take care of her children and told her husband that he should never come back to ask for the children.
On a Monday morning, there was a man who came to knock the gate of Mrs Agbaje. The gate keeper opened the gate for the man and asked him what he wanted, the man replied" I want to see madam"
the gate keeper asked him that does madam have appointment with him, the man said 'no' that he need help.
The gate keeper went straight away to Mrs Agbaje and told her about the man asking for her, Mrs Agbaje told the gate keeper to let him in.
When the old man got inside, he narrated his story to Mrs Agbaje that he has a child who got an admission into the university and he needed some money to pay his acceptance fee, pay for his hostel and so pay for the school fee. He told the woman that he doesn't have money to take care of those bills and he wanted his child to go to school that if Mrs Agbaje can help him, he will be very grateful.
Mrs Agbaje told him to keep calm that once he has told him his problems, everything is solved with the help God.
Mrs Agbaje asked for the amount he needed, the man replied " one hundred and sixty thousand naira will be okay for the bills" the woman told him that she will give him two hundred thousand naira, so that the boy would any other thing he wants to do with the money. The man was so happy, prayed for the woman and left with joy filling his heart.
Not only that, Mrs Agbaje continued giving with this cheerful heart. Though, his children always gave her warning that not everybody she can help, but she would tell them that she's doing it for God, that God will reward her.
There was also a lady who came to Mrs Agbaje one faithful day for a help, this woman was suffering from the cancer of the blood and she needs money to pay for the hospital bills. Mrs Agbaje asked for the amount she needed, the woman Mrs Agbaje that she needed 1.7 million to do the surgery.
Mrs Agbaje told this lady that she won't be able to give her the whole money because she didn't have up to that amount, that she will give her five hundred thousand naira and maybe she would come back at the end of the month to collect the balance.
The lady begged Mrs Agbaje to please give her the money that she doesn't have any other place to go, Mrs Agbaje later gave the lady five hundred thousand naira and told her to come for the balance at the end of the month.
To my surprise, could you believe that this lady doesn't have any ailment, she is perfectly fine, she came to know whether Mrs Agbaje would give her the money or not.
After she left, this lady called a woman who sent her to Mrs Agbaje's house and who happened to be Mrs Agbaje's friend when they were in school, she asked the assassins to kill one of Mrs Agbaje's children because she donated her kidney to Mrs Agbaje when they were in the university and Mrs Agbaje has the gut to give her just five hundred thousand naira out of 1.7 million she asked from her.
Please I need your opinions about this, has Mrs Agbaje done anything bad to her friend? is it a bad thing to help?
A new season
I call this month a month of new season.
*What is a season?*
A season is a time characterized by a particular circumstances or events.
You can only experience a new season when you are born again. Jesus brought us into a new season, we cannot get into a new season without leaving the old season. When God intervene into the life of an individual, such individual will experience a total change and a new season will begin. So let God intrude into your life, let Him take charge of everything and your life will not remain the same.
*Who brought us into a new season?*
Jesus Christ the son of God brought us into a new season. He died for our sins for us to be free.
*How do we have access to a new season?*
You access new season by new birth, as I have said earlier, we must be born again before we have access to this new season. Surrendering totally to Him. Some will say that not until we are born again that we can talk to God or ask anything from Him, I can say is true because our faith differs, how strong is your faith? some of this unbelievers have a strong faith in God that He will do anything they ask from Him. Be born again, He is asking for our salvation.
*When does a new season began?*
A new season began when Christ was seated on the right hand of God.
*Which season are we?*
I want to mention the season we are, you know I said I will call this month a month of new season.
We are in the new season of unlimited grace.
We are in the new season of unlimited justification.
We are in the season of unlimited righteousness: A righteousness means a right to stand before God.
We are in the season of unlimited glory.
We are in the season of unlimited redemption and forgiveness.
*Ephesians 1vs7 says: In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.*
We are in the season of unlimited restoration.
We are in the season of unlimited abundant. He is ready to supply all our needs.
We are in the season of unlimited possibilities. Nothing is impossible or hard for Him to do.
We are in the season of unlimited ability.
We are in the season of unlimited victory.
We are in the season of unlimited answer to prayers. He is ready to listen to us, make your supplications known to Him and He is ready to answer. God cannot and will not fail to answer you.
We are in the season of unlimited liberty.
We are in the season of unlimited healing and health. Like my pastor use to say, he will say that it is not a good thing for a believer to say he/ she is sick. So you have to command that sickness to leave, your body is the temple of God, there's no space for that sickness to stay. Command it will leave.
We are in the season of unlimited prosperity.
We are in the season of unlimited authority and dominion. God has given us the power over the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt us.
We are in the season of unhindered access to God, we all have access to approach Him anytime and any day. It is man that will say they are tired of seeing you, but God can never be tired of you.
We are in the season of unlimited fellowship with God.
An introductory post about myself
Hello everyone, i'm Adejoke by name, but my friends calls me J.K, they gave me the nickname from my name. I am from a family of just five and I am the 1st born of the family, can't you see I have to work hard to take care of my siblings and families. It's not just easy to a first born, I swear, all first born here can understand me better. I am from Nigeria, Ile-ife in Osun state. My Local Government is ife central local government, I went to Ambassadors Primary school Ile-ife and my secondary school at Adventist Secondary School Ile-ife.
When I was in SSS1 , I went to science class because am interested in becoming a nurse. In 2011 I did my Waec in SSS 3, but I didn't do well in my exam, so I had to write Waec the following year.
My dad wasn't staying with us at all.
The following year which is 2012 when the result came I had D7 in Mathematics, not that am not good in Mathematics, I didn't just know why I failed it, I did JAMB that same year, but I did well in it.
I registered for Adeyemi college of Education post-utme, and thanks to God my name came out on the list, I didn't like the course I was given because of the D7 I had in mathematics.
I don't have choice than to go for it because I don't want to stay at home.
My school went on strike for 7 months and I was unable to finish the year I supposed to finish. I graduated in 2016
I waited for a year for my N.C.E result to be out for me to be able to proceed for my degree.
**A GREAT MISTAKE**
Hmmm, I called it a great mistake because I never expected what happened when I applied for my degree. In 2018, when I obtained a direct entry form to the same school I did my N.C.E, my name came out on the first list, I was very happy.
Later, I went for an my screening, on getting to the place, I was screened out of the D7 in Mathematics. Had I know I should have done another Waec before then. I cried bitterly, it really affected me then. I did all my best to make sure I was given the admission, but all to no avail.
Different temptations came my way then for example, there was a man in my church who took me to one of my lecturers maybe he can help me. The man had to tell me that he's going to have sex with me before he can help me, that did I think admission is free, I had to ran out of his office that day.
I went to so many lecturers maybe they can help, I even went to our provost, but all of them said there's nothing they can do.
Someone even advice me to forge the result, that nobody will know I forged it, I told him I can't.
I decided to obtain another Waec that year(2018) in Ondo, Ondo State and another direct entry form. With the help of God the result came out excellently, I did very well and my name also came out on the first list in Adeyemi college of Education.
Now I am in my final year in the institution and performing excellently.
DELAY IS NOT DENIAL
I was not discouraged
I suppose to have posted this before now before posting the two articles I posted few days ago.
I hope it is not too late for me to write the introductory post.
Thanks for reading
My work, my pride
Good day everyone. Hw has been your day? I want to talk about my hand work. I am a fashion designer and a hair stylist. I am glad i went for a training on these hand work, I didn't learn how to make hair, I used my mum's hair to practice when I was young.
Then, my mum would want to stop me from touching her but I won't listen. I will tell her that when I know how to make, she will be one to beg to make the hair for her.
I kept doing it like that, even I do use my friends hair to practice, until am perfect. So I didn't learn it at all from anybody.
But to be honest, it's good to have something doing, for you not to be dependent on someone. If you know how to do something, I mean if you have any handwork take it as a privilege, because in this world we are now, youths are so much suffering. Imagine a graduate with first class riding bike, taxi, it doesn't speak well.
So many people are out there, who has graduated for the past 11 years that are looking up to their parents. There are so many things you can learn, look for the one you are capable of doing.
At least if you have something doing, you don't have to wait for white collar job before you eat.
There are benefits of this handwork, some of them are:
1) Freedom from poverty
2) You will be independent ( not dependent on anyone)
3) Improvement ( everything about will change)
4) You will be known, for instance, if you are very good in what you are doing, people from different places will come for you. I know of someone, she is an actress and she is a fashion designer, not only her colleagues sew clothes from her, but different people all over the world know she's very good.
Don't look at how you start, maybe you don't have too much instruments or you don't have many customers, be focus. These people at the top started from somewhere, "Rome was not built in a day"
Let your work be your pride. Just have faith in God that things will soon be better.
I remembered when I finished secondary school in 2011, my dad told me to learn tailoring from one of his friends, I told him then that am not interested. But I later realized that if I have another work doing (handwork) it will be of more benefits to me not for my parents, especially in this country where most graduates are outside looking for job. In 2015, we had strike for almost 7 months, so I decided to learn the tailoring work I said am not interested in it then and now I didn't regret it.
Though, I have no shop now but I still enjoy it, I didn't have to take my clothes to a tailor to sew for me. If I didn't listen to my parents then, I don't know what could have happened, because the money we tailor are charging customers this days, no be small. Customer will buy cloth worth #10,000 and we will still charge them amount worth #8000. And it is not our fault ooo ooo, it is the situation of this country, things are too expensive. And some doesn't know that it is how expensive we charge them, the beautiful their cloth will be. I laugh at some post like what I ordered for vs what I got 😂😂😂 sometimes, customers don't pay.
I sew this for my aunty,
hope it's nice. I'm glad to be a fashion designer
My first experience in online platform
This has been a wonderful experience for me. I'm always glad I joined.
I want to say a very big thank you to a friend of mine. If not for her, at least I've been able to earn little if not much in this online platform. The first day I saw her typing, I was wondering that what could she be doing on phone, my thought was maybe she's into Yahoo.
But I was totally wrong, not knowing she's working hard on phone to earn. That is why we shouldn't judge people so quick.
She told me she's earning so much in this online stuffs, that it has really helped her so much.
The funniest part of it is that if you want my friend to fight you, please collect her phone for just 5 minutes and you will see the other side of her😜😜😜
When she told me about it, I didn't have interest in it, because am the type who didn't like pressing phone too long, the only thing I do is to chat on Whatsapp and Facebook and sometimes go to google when I have assignment.
But to be honest, writing and reading helps a lot, it helps your thinking.
I was in 200 level when she introduced me to the platforms, another reason why I didn't have interest in it is because I don't have a phone then.
Later, this year if am not mistaken, she reminded me about it again, then we were in the school reading for exam. She said "I told you to join this platform" I thought about it that is not too late for me to join oooo.
Then I ask her to explain it to me and she did.
She said that there's two online platforms that is giving her money which are: " noise.cash and read. cash.
She explained to me that the read cash requires people who will be able to write articles not less than 600 words. I was shocked that how am I going to do it, am not that good in writing articles, then I don't like pressing phone because of the nature of my eyes, I was discouraged by that.
Then she explained to me about the second one which is noise cash, she said that, this one doesn't require much writing, that I can write short posts and sometimes long ones. I was very happy that finally I have one😜😜😜😜 can't you see am lazy🙄🙄🙄🙄 but it's not my fault oooo ooo you know when you are not use to something you find it difficult to do it.
Has she explained to me, I started with an introduction of myself to the platform, honestly, it needs patience and endurance. Why do I say that, I said it because, it took some weeks before I was paid, if not because I was patient I would have quit.
So I started earning too on noise cash and it has really helped me a lot.
After my friend introduced me to noise cash, I also introduced three people to it, but two of them couldn't wait because they were expecting the one that they will be paid instantly while the other one is still on the platform, I told him to endure that he will be paid when they know he's always posting. And now he is earning.
Last month my friend told me again that I should join read cash, that I should come and also make it, when I got home, I thought about it.
I said to myself that 'i can do it' once those that are doing it are human being, nothing should stop me from doing it too.
Thank God I joined three days ago, it's good to be determined.
Be real
There are so much effects of social media in this world, there are also advantages and disadvantages. It just depends on how we use it.
The power of social media living a fake life. When you are real and authentic, people will appreciate you for what you are and who you are, not until you buy expensive clothes before you can be recognized.
I have an example of someone who posted so many videos and pictures on Instagram, but people don't like his post, later he decided to change and live a fake life, borrow money to buy clothes, borrowed cars and so on. Could you believe that people started commenting on his posts, which shouldn't be. Some of this prompt people to live a fake life.
You don't need to lie, you don't need to do any of that, when you start from humble beginnings or you even just start from where you are, people will see that there's value in you and you have substance, not until you pretend.
And please let's appreciate when people is real, don't let this fake people fake us anymore.
