Actually, everyone encounter one or two problems in their relationship, some might be able to handle them while some would be too massive to the extent you just have to end the relationship....... Here I will give a clear and easy example of the kind of problems I face or have faced.
In my past relationship:............. I was in a relationship with this girl but I decide not to share her name, we were in relationship for over 2 years and the most exciting about the relationship was that she was 6 years older than me. We had no financial issue then everything was going fine, she wanted to be a professional footballer then and it was really nice seeing her pursuing her dream, most times we do train together at a football pitch not far from my house.
The problem started when her team won the championship and this would provide her opportunity to travel to Europe to pursue her dream as a professional footballer but she has to go through some stages for a year before travelling.
We started losing our good time, she rarely come for training because she believed when she get to Europe she will continue her training session. She became proud with the way she relates to her friends and me since she thought leaving the country makes her better than us.
Due to this reason all our meetings and fun started getting less and lesser. She started drinking alcohol to celebrate her little win to the extent her friends called me to advise her but we were no longer together again due to lack of communication.
To cut the story short, she is back to training at the football pitch not far from my house, she wasn't aware that a last trial will be done before finally leaving for Europe but unfortunately for her she wasn't physically fit at that moment so she was disqualified.

Most people in a relationship tend to gravitate towards 'forever' except a few who may have other motives. Here are some problems that could lead to the end of a relationship
1. Contempt:
Do not go into relationship with someone who thinks that being in relationship with you is doing you a favour. Go for the man or woman that knows your worth and values you for who you are not the one that thinks he/ she helped you being with you.
They will treat you the way you don't like because they believe you can't leave them alone and you will regret your decision being with them.
2. Frequent Fighting
Some argument are completely necessary, you can't be in a relationship without some arguments it is completely natural, but very frequent fights are reactive and sometimes it leads to couples drifting apart emotionally and might lead to break up.
3. Comparison
Comparing your current partner to your ex is really not a good idea in relation and you should mind what ever you might say concerning comparison, it would make your partner have low self esteem, and he might get jealous and lose trust in you.
4. Pride
Like this popular saying Pride in the life of an individual will lead to his downfall. When you are at fault and wrong you shouldn't find it hard to apologize.
Final Thoughts
Some relationships last forever not everyone goes through heartbreak and ending a relationship doesn't mean you're bad at it. And finally involve God in everything we do including our relationship
