Monday, December 13th, 2021, with just 12 days before Christmas, I'm sure we're all excited as the big day approaches.
There are some brutal facts that we should have been told when we were children, but most of us don't get access to them until it's too late, and we gradually live our lives without them in the back of our minds.
I'd want to share a few of the truths I've learned via experiences, friends, and strangers.
Kindly check out my awesome sponsors before I continue
1. You Can't Make Everyone Happy
It is not our responsibility to make everyone happy in the first place, and the most we can do is cheer up those who are close to us or whose lives we can improve.
The best we can do is support those in need, and if you see yourself in a position to help, please do so; if you don't see yourself in a position to help, please don't try to do something that will come back to haunt you later.
There's no point in pleasing people if you lose your worth, something important to you, or your life in the process. There's nothing wrong with being the source of someone else's happiness, but it's pointless to keep being the catalyst of such happiness if it's affecting you psychologically, physically, or emotionally.
2. We Are All Going To Die
The most fascinating aspect is that we have no idea when, how, or where death will strike, but it is inevitable that it will, and the question is how we will prepare for it when it does.
Essentially, life is a succession of stages; we are born, we grow up, and throughout that time we try to do as much as we can, chase our dreams, and slowly but surely we die.
While pursuing those objectives, we should keep in mind that death is near; we should live each day as if it were the last, giving it our best and making a good difference in the lives of others.
Everything has meaning for the time being and will continue to have meaning until we are on our deathbeds, at which point it will all be completely irrelevant, and we shall know the ultimate meaning of existence.
3. You Can't Be Perfect
The most important thing you can do for yourself is to strive to be a better version of yourself by making changes and modifications, increasing your talents and capabilities, and learning from your failures.
There is never a literal depiction; there is always a better version. Don't try to be someone you're not merely to look good in front of others; it will never succeed.
Final Thought
Life is too short to strive to please everyone while you are unhappy. Instead, try to be happy and content, and keep in mind that you could die at any time, and you won't know how, where, or when it will happen.
Finally, perfection is unattainable; instead, aspire to be the best version of yourself, because we all have flaws at some time in our lives.
Thanks for reading 💙
That's the truth, I think the one I still find hard to accept is making everyone happy because I love making people happy, but it can't always be that way. And perfection too most girls struggles with this too, we always seek for perfection.
