People often use the phrase, “Game of Life”, to describe life as a never-ending journey that we must continue on with. There is always around the corner, around the corner we can see a red light and we must cross this street, around the corner we could be done with this year, around the corner is the summit, and so on. A person's life becomes a never-ending journey as they must continue onward to the next destination without stopping.
The game of life is a never-ending journey. The travel begins when an individual is born, continues throughout their life, and ends when they pass away. Passing away might not be the end of life, but it is for this physical form of existence on Earth. The game of life starts over for another new baby that was just born.
As my dad used to say, the year is over but the referee of the game of life has not blown the whistle. All my life I’ve watched how my father's words have been so relevant in my life ever since I heard them. I must follow him or I will fall off and not be able to climb any further should I forget those words. This metaphor of a never-ending journey truly applies to life.
All of the different paths of life are like a game because life is never-ending. When you're born you can't stop until you die; it is the game that everybody must play. Whether you are rich or poor, smart or dumb, or tall or short; life will throw obstacles at you, which you must overcome to reach your destination. But how do we continue to play the game?
Maintaining a healthy body
Despite everything we have going on in life, it's still important to maintain a healthy body. Many forget to take care of their body or their brain to fully function. Making sure you have a good exercise routine, eating healthy, making sure you sleep eight hours a day, drink lots of water, and using sunscreen are all important parts of a healthy body. This allows you to reach the summit and face it with all of your senses, and be able to take in all of the sights around you.
Carrying our burdens
Another part of our life that we must hold onto is the things that have affected us in life. Whatever has affected you in your life will always be with you and affect you in the future as well. Remaining conscious of this is important because you will be able to handle the burdens that come your way. It’s really just being conscious of the burdens in life and how you must carry them.
Standing tall in life
Another part of our life that we need to maintain is how we handle adversity. We must be able to stand tall in life and face the adversity that comes our way. This includes finding the strength to get through a tough decision. Life may give us trials and problems, but we can remain positive and push through it. We must be able to look at the difficulties as challenges.
Adversity is the period of time when the conditions are not ideal and, therefore, stand out as something positive.
We can achieve our goals
The last part of our journey is how we achieve our goals and reach the summit. We must become stronger to reach our goals and we must work hard to accomplish them.
In life, if we work hard, good things are likely to happen. Good things don't just happen and the work ethic that we put forth as a team will ultimately be the best choice. Not only that, but we will also be successful. Good things are always worth working for.
Conclusion
Life as a perpetual journey is nothing like a video game where the final level is the summit and it's clear. It's hard, but you'll always get to the top. You will always find out the lesson of life in the end. Life is about playing the game of life, it's about making those decisions that make you proud of yourself. The only way to survive and succeed is to enjoy your journey.
There will be a mountain and you will need to climb it, but remember the first part is about avoiding getting hit in the back of the head by it. It's not about the mountain, but the journey. It's all about making those decisions and standing tall in life. If you can attain this, you will be the happiest man on earth.
This is only a tiny glimpse into the life of a person. I hope you learned something from my analogy,
I like the fact you started first with health first, because only the healthy are fit to work productively And as the never aging adage says "Health is wealth"
