Many people have always wonder the similarity between The Bible and The Quran, this two religion are the only religion with so many similarity but yet in some part of the world, the Muslim don't want to see eye to eye with the Christian and vise versa, i do find this interesting, the two religion are very great because they both preach peace, but some wicked people will only recite this to suit their own aim. I'm not saying the two religion are the same but the story in them have so many similarity. the creation of the world, the story of Abraham, the story of Moses, even the story of jesus.
The Bible
The bible consist of two part.
The Old Testament
The old testament are base on the story that has happened before the birth of Jesus Christ, we have so many books in the old testament like, Genesis: this book spoke about the creation of man and the world, the relationship between God and man. There are other books in the old testament like Exodus, number, Job, Esther, Leviticus, and so on, the old testament has the highest number of books recorded in the Bible.
The New Testament
The new testament are the early life of Jesus Christ and that of his disciple, the journey to spread Christianity all over the world, the first 4 books of the Bible talks about Jesus and his life work, the miracle he perform, also the life and story of his disciple, this first book are, Matthew , Mark, Luke and John, this book took the account of how Jesus spent his life and the good he has done to man kind, the sacrifice he has to make on the cross for man kind sake.
"Some in the collection of texts that comprise the Bible are sacred to over 54% of the world’s population who believe in Abrahamic religions. These include Christianity, Islam, Judaism and smaller religions like Rastafari. Of course, there are big differences between the religions in which particular stories they believe in and how they believe in them, but the oldest Biblical stories are at the core of all the major Abrahamic traditions."
The Bible is know to be the oldest book on earth has it has the recorded history of many cities we know in the world today, the bible is know to be over 3400 years old and that was before Christ, the prophecy of Christ coming has been record in the old testament and the fulfillment of the prophecy took place in the new testament, in this modern day, the bible is what the Christian leaders us to preach to all Christ believer.
The Quran
The Quran is the holy book that Holy book received by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) from God, the Quran is the holy book used by the Islamic religion, also the Holy Quran is seen as the most important book by the Muslim since it is believed to be the word of God, the Islamic religion believe in the preaching of peace to the world. The Holy Quran has 114 books also known as Surah and some of this book are among the books considered to be revealed, and this books are the Tawrat (Torah or the Law) revealed to Musa (Moses), the Zabur (Psalms) revealed to Dawud (David), the Injil (the Gospel) revealed to Isa (Jesus).
In conclusion
We can now see the similarity in this two great book, I'm not saying they are the same, I'm only pointing out the similarity between them, I have never for once see any of this religion to be superior to another, I live with both Muslim and Christian and i have learn to respect everyone opinion, I hope others too can do the same so we can live in the more peaceful world.

Interesting write up. I come from a Muslim home and I sing Christian praises, one thing I'm glad of is that my parent do not look down on any religion, have never been cautioned when I sing Christian music, in fact they join in singing if they know it.
