The founder of red cross, sir Jean Henry Dunant, was on a journey to meet Napoleon111, then he encounter a lot of wounded people on a Field, and this was cause because these three countries had just fought a war on that field leaving many wounded, Italy, France and Austria. Sir jean henry Dunant has to let go of his journey to assist these wounded soldiers and even sort help for the neighboring town to help and this gave birth to the organization, **RED** **CROSS**
The Red Cross had to create a new logo because some countries said they can accept the cross, but this didn't stop the goodwill of the founder, there had to improvise and this gave birth to the new logo but with the same aim and objectives. We have 4 emblems in the Red Cross and these include The Red Cross The Red Crescent The Lion and Sun The Red Crystal Even with all these different emblems, 7 principles guide them all. **Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, Universality**. I will take my time to explain the 7 principles probably in another article. The Nigeria Red Cross.
