... a continuation of a fictional virtual tour.
The three ladies depart Santorini and now heading to Vienna, a 6 hour flight with one stop at Athens via Aegean and Olympic arriving at Vienna at 11:55 pm. The hotel car service picked them up.
They checked in at Grand Hotel Wien in Vienna past 1 am.
The following morning @Bloghound was excited to wander around the city. She's excited to see the architectural Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque designs of the buildings that are so rich with history. After they had their breakfast at the coffee shop they are off to see the beauty of Vienna.
They first visit the St. Stephen's Cathedral, the city symbol of Vienna. It was built in the 12th Century. Can you imagine how beautiful and old this Cathedral? Bloghound wants to climb the 343 steps of this mighty gothic tower and Eylz and Pichi just said yes say since it's their first stop and I bet if you were there you will also say yes to climb that beauty. As soon as they reached the top, the three ladies were in awe of the unforgettable view that was rewarded to them.
After St. Stephen's Cathedral the three ladies walk to the Ringstrasse (commonly known as the Ring), It's a 16 mins walk from St. Stephen's Cathedral. The Ring is where you'll find the grandest and oldest buildings in the city. And while walking Eylz saw the electro vintage car and inquire how they can rent it to roam around the city. After learning that they can rent it they book online and instantly get the confirmation. The three ladies hop in the electro vintage car and the driver gave them a sparkling wine that they can drink while roaming around the city. The driver serves as the tourist guide too.
While they are roaming around the city riding on this electro vintage car they saw @OfficialGamboaLikeUs (aka OG) and @dziefem (aka Fem) walking along the ring and so they invited them to join on their ride since the maximum capacity of the car is five. The ladies keep on laughing as they update each other with what they've been doing. They had lunch together at At Eight Restaurant, a Michelin restaurant that offers Austrian, European, and International cuisines that you can find at the center of everything of Ringstrasse.
While having their lunch the girls decided to roam around the city together. Eylz2021 suggests to OG and Fem to buy a Vienna Pass an all-inclusive sightseeing card that gives you access to almost all of the sightseeing attractions with free admission and skip-the-line entry, it also includes a free ride to the hop on hop off bus rides. The two girls were convinced with Vienna Pass and decided to buy first before they go to their next destination, they even bought a ticket to join them on their evening dinner Danube cruise.
After their cruise, the girls separated their way to go back to their hotels but agreed to meet the following morning.
The following morning OG and Fem arrive at Grand Hotel Wien at exactly 7 am to have breakfast with the three girls. They met at the 7th floor at the Le Ciel Restaurant where Eylz booked for them before she slept last night. She booked a table that is located at the balcony for them to enjoy the view while having breakfast.
They are off to Salzburg after having breakfast. Eylz2021 found a private tour package with transport that will bring them to Salzburg. The original package was good for fours hour only but she manages to arrange a three-day package of Salzburg sightseeing with picture taking and enjoying some activity. The girls will stay in Salzburg for 3 days and 2 nights since the travel hours going to Salzburg from Vienna is almost 3 hours by car.
They arrive in Salzburg before noon and before doing anything they check in first at Hotel Sacher. Eylz2021 booked the Sacher Sky Suite for them, check-in their luggage, and off to lunch at Sacher Grill. Eylz2021 is excited about the dessert because they have the best sachertorte ( that can only be found in Austria).
After their lunch, they are off to wander around the city. And because Eylz is a fan of the movie The Sound of Music their first destination is to visit various locations of where it was shoot. Eylz arranged it with a guided tour as not to waste time finding the location and without having a hard time talking to the locals asking for directions. They even signed up for an amphibious guided tour on land and water for one and a half hours. They end the day enjoying the Mozart concert with dinner at the Baroque Hall of St Peter's Restaurant.
Of course, Eylz knows how much Bloghound is fascinated with the architectural designs of the buildings combined together with the beauty of nature that's why she also booked the Eagle's Nest and Berchtesgaden Tour where they visit Adolf Hitler's famous vacation home with a breathtaking view of the mountainous landscape.
During lunch, Eylz told the girls to change their clothes to something light and comfortable, she's not telling them their next destination and it was the first time that she didn't inform them of what they are going to do. They even told the girls to bring extra clothes with undies and a towel. As soon as all of them are ready they left the hotel and off to Salzach River. The girls didn't know that they are in for an adrenaline rush for that afternoon. Yes! they are going to have fun in the Salzach River. It's white water rafting in Salzburg! Eylz is so excited while the four girls are a little bit nervous.
The girls keep on laughing and shouting while they are on that scary but fun ride. As soon as they reached the endpoint all of them are laughing and talking about how much they want to do it again.
Eylz didn't plan anything for that night because she assumes that the girls will be tired and will just opt to rest. As soon as they are back in the hotel, Pichi28 orders food and drinks and had a chill night at the balcony of their room.
The next day the girls went back to Vienna with waves of laughter in their hearts. They only have one schedule for the afternoon, and that is to ride the giant Ferris Wheel. They said you really haven't been to Vienna if you haven't taken this ride.
The following day OG and Fem bid good bye to the girls because they are still going to meet their friends and on to their next destination. While the three ladies still stayed in Vienna and still planning to go to Munich.
