Lessons I learned this year 2021
December 28, 2021
3 more days and we will bid goodbye to 2021. Are you all ready to welcome 2022?
Have you all thought of all the blessings that 2021 gave us?
Let's forget all the negative things that happened during this year and let's just focus on what it has taught us. 2021 taught me a lot of lessons and let me share them with you.
Family matters.
No matter how independent we are, no matter how strong we are as a person, we still need our family. We still need someone who can be there for us. Someone we can lean on, someone who can really just be there for us.
Yes, friends are there for us too but during the time of sickness, during the time of loss, the only people that can be there for us is our family. During the challenging times, it is only our family who we can rely on.
We can go through all the hardships in life as long as our family is there for us.
Do save for emergency purposes
Often times we save for something that we want to buy, we save when we want to go have a vacation but we always forget to save for emergency purposes. During this year I learned that you don't only save for that stuff you also have to save for emergency purposes like when you get sick. Not all of us have medical insurance and not all sickness is covered by medical insurance so it is also important to save money for those kinds of emergencies.
I was just so thankful that when my whole family got infected by coronovirus I have some Bitcoincash savings that I was able to use during that time. Imagine a whole month of being quarantined is not easy and if you do not have savings where will you get your daily needs. So do save for those kinds of emergencies.
Learning never stops
Learning doesn't have to stop just because people are stuck in the confines of their homes. This is not only for the kids but for everyone. There are so many things that we can do while at home if we really want to learn. And if we want to earn we have to learn to adjust and adapt to what's going on around us even if we are stuck at home.
Self-care is important
Self-care is important not only to yourself but also to the people around you. With the current setup that people are working from home, some are forgetting to look after themselves, they thought that just because they are at home they can work longer hours, not thinking that having complete hours of rest is essential for our physical and mental health.
There are so many things that we can do to enhance self-care without spending a penny. It doesn't even need a huge time commitment. It could be eating your favorite food, relaxing with a piece of good music, a walk in the park, or as simple as making sure that you have complete bed rest is enough already. Make sure that you have at least 8 glasses of water every day. Just don't forget that it is important to prioritize yourself before anything else.

Friends are everywhere
Friends are not only the people that you see every day, they are not only the people that you met at work or at school. Friends can be found online too, they can be found at the virtual world too. All you have to do is to be a friend for you to be able to find them. Be a true and sincere friend and you'll find that they are everywhere.
